This park looks amazing but on the weekends it is very full especially if it’s a nice day you’ll even see big tent probably a wedding. Wow I wouldn’t think the wedding will be there but it was; to each their own! Lotta these reviews are very real with the drug problem as we pulled into the parking lot my daughter smelt what she says smells like a skunk. Then we look over and see a car “hot boxing” if that’s what they still call it! There was multiple parties so we decided to leave with alcohol and a lot of men.

Restrooms were delightful. Especially in these times when so many are closed due to Covid. Nice little quiet park as well.

As a kid back in the 1960’s I went to Kennedy Parkall the time to ride the carousel. I was really crazy for the carousel.It was San Lorenzo then ..I was so happy to see it’s there !!

Convenient location and the park was easy to access. Green and spacious. A good spot for kids and have picnics.

I walked by this park at the time mentioned. I could not go in because the whole park is currently fenced off due to the renovations being made. Who knows when it will reopen, though I am sure that when it is finished, the park should be better than before. Stay tuned!

This Coconut Grove park is located along the bay and was one of the first parks in Miami to offer the exercise experience. Along the jogging paths you will encounter equipment with instructions on how to work each part of the body. Beautiful setting and good people watching too!

Kennedy park is under construction for 2 years. Love to go there on my lunch break and read, eat lunch. Miss it!

The best park in the area for kids. Playground has lots of room and all kinds of climbing, swinging, sliding options. Always lots of kids there, so your child can always find someone to play with. Weekends the petting zoo, carousel, and train ride are open for business. Picnic reservations usually full on weekends, so if you just show up for a quick picnic in the park, bring a blanket to sit on the grass. Fairly good sized parking lots plus some on street parking. Restrooms in center of park.

Have loved this park forever. A wonderful place to spend time with your kids. Great party location. Shady tables, train, carousel, petting zoo, snack bar and bouncy house. Fun memories!

Still one of the best places to have an event gathering. This is evident by the many gatherings there when you attend on any weekend. The across the street is perfectly placed for any forgotten items. And the Carters in that plaza is great for any items for the children. The nail shop can fix any park mishap. And if your family cant cook worth a, well yall know what Im getting at, you got options across the street. The petting zoo remains the childrens favorite, despite the ripe stench that surrounds it. Amazingly though, it doesnt travel through the whole park as you would think. The train is fun, and the merry go round is a miracle everyone it starts and spins. The playground is nice and big but there are never enough swings. Nice spaced out sections to accommodate multiple large parties, with the concrete pad and other established areas needing to be reserved, there are plenty of options for walk up parties also.

Always fun here good place to take kids. They have a train, petting zoo, concession stands, merry-go-round etc, all low priced. I would recommend going there.

A great place where many Latino and some Black families congregate to to eat play and frolic while enjoying each other. Fantastic playground for kids, including a train ride and some small animals - not quite a zoo but a smzoo! All in all the actively-peaceful, interesting and fun place - especially for kids.

Great place for families. The rides and the petting zoo is so nice to have in such a convenient area for the Hayward locals. The only thing that kind of sucks is that they dont take credit/debit.

Ive been attending an annual picnic there for several years. Parking was fine. Property was clean. A couple people complained cuz they couldnt bring their pets, however, we reminded them that is necessary because of pet owners who are not bag carrying members and fail to clean up after their pet. It was nice to be able to sit on the ground and no it was clean!

It a nice Park. I take my kids there. They also have a train ride that goes around the park.

Its a nice park, but no one picks up after dog... so you have watch where you step when youre in the middle of all that grass. Good for some immediate PokeStops, but otherwise I wouldnt bother going to the park.

A large, family-oriented park with lots of facilities for picnics and sports. Theres a mini train tracks going around, and it is well-maintained by the good folks of HARD (Hayward Area Recreation District).

Best park in the area. Full running train ride, merry-go-round, and petting zoo, not to mention a huge play structure for kids of all ages. Tons of grass for any other park activity. Tennis courts. Snack shack. Across the road from Target and plenty of other food. Plenty of picnic tables. Our son asks to come to this park specifically multiple times a week.

This is a perfect spot for at lovely morning or afternoon with kids. They have at little farm where you can feed the goats, a Carousel and little train; tickets are 2$each or 5 $ 3 tickets (adults pay too and bring cash). Plenty of green and picnic areas, a nice playground and restrooms.

The park is maintained and the train is still running! It would be nice to see the sidewalks around the park fixed, other than that Id recommend going to enjoy the train ride and little petting zoo.

I had a great experience at Kennedy Park. There was a lot of shade and a lot of tables for the church members to sit. We were at site 17. I loved it!!

Weather was good. No Wyfi I didnt like that a worker was spraying round up on the lawn. I dont like breathing it and it was windy and the spray carries in the air. Also innocent little kids play on the lawn not a healthy situation for them.Its closed for construction not a fun place to go.

This is a good park for little kids. There is a merry-go-round, a train, and a petting zoo with pygmy goats. My kids really enjoyed it.

My kids had a great time here riding the train and at the petting zoo. Everything was clean and well managed. Be sure to check when the fun stuff is open before you go, it is scheduled around the Citys school schedule. We came here to waste time while waiting for a flight to arrive at the Oakland airport. There are a lot of tables and grills for family parties. No kites because of the train, and no pets because of the petting zoo.

Great park for kids! Train ride is awesome, almost 5 mins long. The petting zoo is good. You can pet only goats. Other animals like rabbits, birds etc. are for viewing only.

We celebrated my great nieces first birthday at Kennedy park, the same park my family visited since before I was born, over 54 years ago! When I heard where the party would be held, I could smell eucalyptus trees. AHHH! It is EXACTLY THE SAME AS WHEN I WAS A KID, EXACTLY! Petting zoo, carousel, snack bar, unchanged. Although it was closed, in my memory, it was abuzz with goats, snatching cups of goat pellets, out of tiny hands. I could hear the music of the carousel in the distance, I clutched a foot long rope of red licorice, a pixie stick nearly as long as I was tall, and a lik-a-stick. I turned away from the always busy snack bar, hoping to find my family in the sea of bodies, large and small, short and tall. My minds eye has 20/20 vision.

This park is still a great place to go with the kids. There is train ride and petting zoo. To cute. Have a picnic or family gathering.

Nice park. Target next door for good and things is great,, however Cody will no let them sale alcohol so BYO ON THAT. Even has a cool kids steam train that runs Friday thru Sunday. Lots or grass and picnic spots. Lots or parking in front and back lot...

Its a park thats a) close to home, b) got a petting zoo for the kids, c) a merry go round, d) a train that goes around the park and e) wide open spaces to set up a cool picnic and shaded benches in case you just want to take it easy and bring a meal to share.

A little messed up that park employees that have cars dont help you tug thing for the parking to the benches. Its a lot of grass and train tracks to go over. Just wished they would help a little after we lay so much to even be there

This is a great park for families with kids playground and cheap other entertainment. For $10-15 you can go in a petting zoo, jump on a bounce house and ride a carousel.
