Gorgeous. Parking on the back side of the location that Google Maps take you to. Very impressive building. Great handicap access.

My mission is to visit all CT catholic churches and this was #39. There is Street parking and a lot behind the cathedral. The exterior is modern and cold but the interior will take your breath away. Open, spacious and modern but traditional in that it had the stained glass. But its all very grand and absolutely gorgeous. The ceiling lights are shaped like stars and they look 3-D. This is one of the most amazing churches Ive seen to date.

Place isnt even OPEN, no one there and theyre RINGING BELLS. Shush. If you people cant even be there open working, dont wake us up just cuz we happen to live in this city, its not our fault. I cant imagine these people who run that place are very nice.

I had a great pleasure to see polish folk music group Ślask. Wonderful place, great acoustic. I love this place.

The St. Joseph Catherdal is plain on the outside for lack of better sentence. However when you wall inside youre met with some of the most beautiful stained glass windows with various vibrant colors. We were unable to explore the inner most section if the Catherdal because they were setting up for a wedding. For those of you who have visited Saint Louis Catherdal in New Orleans, do not expect the same architecture and grandeur as this Catherdal was rebuilt. The beauty of past Cathedrals is what keeps us visiting them.

When I first came in to the church it was so amazing the people where kind and so helpful around.The bishop were awsome they help you around and tell you what you want to do as a job if your a alter server.They choir and the light shine are really nice together.

The Right to Life Mass was very impressive which complimented the Cathedral.

The Cathedral of Saint Joseph, the mother Church for the Archdiocese of Hartford, is always an inspirational experience. The sheer size and height of the space are humbling but its the enveloping affect of the stained glass windows the worshipper is left with. The narrative expressed is clear and in combination with the intense colors, the overall experience is heartwarming, breathtaking, and draws the person forward to focus on the altar, the center of Catholic worship.

The fathers and the people are very friendly. I always leaving mass with a understanding of what is expected of me.

Very poor reflection on churches. My daughter went to this church that was close to her school after having a very bad day. She went to the confessional to talk to someone and maybe get a prayer for a woman at the church to approach her chastise her for sitting in the confessional and talking thinking someone was in there. She watched her enter and never told her no one was in there. She called the police on her embarrassed her caused a seem. All because she wanted to get something off her chest and request prayer. What type of church does that to people. Oh this one. Just unacceptable. This woman is a hypocrite!
