Large room, friendly staff but the place seems a little dated. While the room was large there were a few spaces that needed some sort of furniture to sit other than the bedroom area instead of just empty. The room was very quiet. The whole place was not very lively. Location is great. All in all, a good place to rest your head but not much else.
Very disappointed this year. No Santa at the door when we arrivedabout 1pm No music and no governor. We will go next year because it is a tradition to go on Fri afternoon but hope state will do a better job for its citizens next year.Almost felt as if there was no effort to make it an experience . Get it together Conn.
It was my first time there and it was very pretty the Christmas tree was awesome and a lot of the Antiques were also I love the fact that Santa and Santas wife was there thank you and have a Merry Christmas
The Christmas display was not all that, I expected a lot more was very boring.
Nice to see the Governors mansion decorated for Christmas.
Once when I was a Mormon Missionary, my companion and I were walking on the street behind this house. We entered through the back gate (it looked like all the other houses in the area). We were going to share the gospel of Christ with everyone we met. Before we knew it, we were surrounded by men with guns drawn. They escorted us out. We left them with a Book of Mormon and invited them to look to the goodness contained therein.
Classic example of malloys never ending tale of wasteful spending. Back when Jodi rell was govener she lived in her own house. The figure to operate the goveners mansion stood around 600,000 a year. Can you imagine now how much it is now. But what do you really expect.
Such a beautiful place I love it there
Governors mansion is beautifully decorated for the holidays.
Stunning ground and a lovely house. Truly beautiful residence.
Beautiful mansion and it was decorated beautifully with Christmas decorations.
Beautiful backyard.
Not really attraction just a house
