The Bushnell Park is well-maintained and clean. The pond has a pretty cool and shiny stainless steel sculpture and many ducks.

Bushnell Park is a gem in the heart of Hartford. I visited on a Saturday morning with friends and their children, and the kids enjoyed climbing, jumping, and swinging at the brand new playground, which just opened in November. It is located just next to the carousel, making for a fun few hours. I appreciated the way that the playground was designed to evoke nearby architecture, and my friends elementary-aged son appreciated its educational aspect. He pointed out to the adults that there was information about how bills become laws, presented in a way that kids could understand. I dont often find myself in downtown Hartford, but my recent experience at Bushnell Park gives me a great reason to return.

This park is beautiful theres a lot to see a lot to do, whether youre into people watching, bird watching, I just watching the leaves fall. It is quiet, peaceful, and a place that I would visit again and again and again.

We were looking tor a quiet place to sit for a while and this was perfect. Clean and family friendly.

Its just fun to walk through or around.

No Place like it in Hartford...You can walk, run and take your kids to play area.. surrounded by a beautiful oak trees and beautiful ponds with fish and ducks..Such a stress buster place truely I can say.

Born and raised in Hartford. Went at Christmas time and just beautiful. Nice to see so many local businesses chip in and provide an ice skating for free. Plenty of history in the area to keep you busy for a whole afternoon. And dont forget your camera.

Three nights so far this summer. All of them great. Nat Reeves, Antonio Hart, and Delfeayo Marsalis. Great soul food in and outdoors at Black Eyed Sallys (live music there 2).

Spent a short amount of time here, but its a lovely park. Relaxing to walk around. Some unique native American inspired statues and even a carousel can be found here! Enjoy some pretty city sights as you walk around the park.

Bushnell Park is clean a nice place to walk your dog place ball with your Kids or simply sit and watch all the people that are doing this type of things. Its a place where You could grab a blanket and have a picnic or just sit and talk. Very Peaceful.

Neat and well-maintained park. Enjoyed walking around and taking pictures of the green space and the modest Hartford skyline. The place felt safe overall during the day. Street parking available close by.

Way to go Hartford! The new playground is beautiful and a great new edition that truly makes the park a family destination! Proud to be from such a great little city!

The park is beautiful clean and safe BUT it appears that what ever landscape company is being used is SIMPLY NOT SUPERVISED as to the quality of theirs work VERY POOR WORK CUTTING THE GRASS AND NOT EVEN RACKING OR BLOWING THE DEAD GRASS AWAY JUST LAYING THERE KILLING THE GOOD GRASS ALL OVER THE PARK! Soon the tax payers will have to pay to replace the lawn.Sad!!!

I go to this place a lot of time specially when my grandkids come over stay enjoy this park they have a carousel playscape a little pain like setting and also in the winter time to have ice skating plenty of walking area if you want to get your exercise on its just a great place Great Park I enjoy it and they Carousel also host parties for a fee as a whole its a nice park

Nice park, lots of benches and a few chess tables. Pool of water is full of trash though, and Im not a fan of the sculpture they put in it. Be careful if you have food, geese and squirrels will approach you! Couldnt find a bathroom and/or porta potty

I grew up going to the Bushnell. It is a beautiful park but it seems the city has not taken care of it in a while. The indian fountains flowers are now tall shrubs, really?!!!

I have been going to that park every since i could remember its one of our oldedt parks in Ct just come down its Beautiful. We have many events organize by the parks foundation organzation jazz,walks, ice skating, we have the carousel and a playscape man6 paths to walk

Okay park, nice views.

We wanted to tour this building and saw people on top when we parked. Walked over and there was no signs anywhere for touring it and we never could find a tour.
