Winslow Fish and Wildlife Management Area

It is always a great time walking and hunting and hiking

I took one of my grandkids coyote hunting for a few hours near an old quarry, the woods are beautiful and the lake views were great.We didnt see any game animals but since she is seven years old and active I didnt expect to.The area is diverse with hardwood forests, pine trees and some swampy areas as well.Although the place is for hunting many people enjoy hiking in the area, but one should be aware of the hunting seasons for the safety of all who use the area and show respect for the others in the woods.Its a nice place to go.

Not what I was expecting based on reviews. I thought there would be more to do and a longer walk with the kids after breakfast. Instead it was about 2 to 3 half mile paths. Great for wildlife, awful for anything else like hiking, exploring, trail walking ect.

Been going there for years. Great for hiking, hunting, target practice, and a ride through the trails.

This is a great place that has just about everything you need for your household. The staff are friendly and very helpful. If you cant find something they will take you to the aisle and pick it up for you and explain how it works and where you should put it. They go the extra mile to make their customers feel comfortable and welcome. I reccomend going there.

Excellent ambiance. Clean establishment. Variety is great especially in the omelette department (had the chicken parmigiana omelette and it was very good). Server was very attentive. First time at the establishment and left with a good impression.

Great trail to go driving on...just make sure you 4x4 works cause I sure didnt and I got stuck lol....thankfully a few nice people arrived to pull me out I didnt get there names but if they see this I just wanna give a big thanks from me and my daughter!!!

A couple of the roads you cant get down due to the 2017 snow storms trees are across the the road the second fire line on the Winslow side which dont you think the DEP would want the roads open incase of a fire? They havent graded the main fire line last season at all.

I love that they have places like this, its a good time with your family and friends as long as you clean up after yourself! Alot of trails to drive through and a beautiful view.

Great place to visit nature, take a walk, or even go fishing

Very large lake offers some good fishing and some of the clearest water Ive ever seen. Very peaceful and serene. Went here in the late fall/early winter and found cranberries growing wild. My only complaint is that some people abuse this place by littering. It only takes a few thoughtless people to ruin it for others.

I love anything off road that i can drive so i am biasis. However some spots here espescially on south just look like some teenagers after hours drinking spot and dump. That. Is my view on the south east part. Besides that it is a nice place to check out. Not breath taking but still not a wasted trip

Attraction include the Great Egg Harbor River with its infamous Blue Hole. Half the sand roads can be driven without four wheel drive, but be careful as there are seasonal changes which can cause puddles to turn into new waterways. I caused $3000 worth of engine damage to my old truck in this place. Best visited in Spring and Fall when ticks are at a minimal. Kayaking is possible but difficult due to the need to navigate around trees.

A great place for a walk, deer, black snakes, and wild flowers.

Its exactly what you should expect. A large wilderness area with no amenities. There are a number of dirt roads which you can drive, hike or bike on.

Good fishing spot. Also good if just going for a walk or run.

Great place, I just wish the idiots would stop damaging the area. Over the years we explored the Blue Hole and the Enchanted Forest.
