I walk here everyday and its kept up so nicely. Its a small but nice park.I use the kayak launch often. The water you put out into is stagnant which can get gross but you paddle out of it quickly and everything else is beautiful. There is a place to rinse your boat after your adventure which is nice.

One of the best things about living in Gulfport is being able to enjoy Clam Bayou every day. Its a little slice of Florida mangrove estuary with several wood walkways over the water with one trail leading out to a little mangrove island. The area is a popular fishing spot.

Put in our paddleboards at the front of the park. Beautiful mangroves to the left, the Gulf to the right (and a short paddle to Gulfport Beach). Followed a dolphin feeding for about 20 minutes.

A hidden gem in plain sight. If you enjoy birding, Pelicans, Cranes and Egrets all come close as fishermen clean their catch. Many roost right in the trees lining the shores, making for a great evening walk. Finish up with a cocktail at downtown Gulfport just 5 minutes away.

We have been to Clam Bayou a few times but normally park close to the marina area. Today we ended up parking off the entrance behind Ceridian and it was a huge difference. There are boardwalks and areas where you can stop and get a great view of the ocean and the sunsets. We were totally unaware of this parking area and all the Bayou has to offer. This side versus the west side of the park is totally different. From the other side you are on a more off the beaten path type area and this side is just easier to hike around and walk around, which is great when my younger kids are with me.
