Always Love Hempfield Park. Family reunion every July 4 there. Usually Pav. A, but up at E this year. Both are nice, but no rubber ducky race this year.always clean. The Kitchens are nice n bathroom, clean.

My boys (5 & 8) have been playing Hempfield Red soccer since they were two and four. This is my 5 year old’s third season and my 8 year old’s eleventh season. They really do a good job teaching the boys the basics of the game and how to play when they’re little (even when they’re older if they are just getting in to it) and with setting up the teams and the schedules. This past June (2019) they finally got a new rec director and there have been some great improvements thus far. The grounds are always kept very nice and it is evident that all four of the soccer fields and all equipment is well taken care of. The only downfall at the soccer fields is that there are no restrooms for use up at the fields. You either have to walk all the way down to the etc office or hold it!

Love this park so much! Beautiful landscaping and a creek to play in - doesnt get better than that!

This is a very good park to visit as it has the necessary public facilities a park should have. It has public restrooms, a cricket pitch, a baseball field, a nice pathway that leads you to the main park. Overall its amazing and is a place that should be visited almost every week. Take your dogs with you!!

I love this park and walk here often. Its well maintained. The only thing is of course is that its an athletic field, so its hard to walk in certain places when practices or games are going on. You have to do weird detours from your usual route This is only temporary though, and in general a good experience overall.

Its a safe clean environment for kids to play futsal. Very family oriented.

The new Amphitheatre is really nice. The park is great for walking. Also the baseball fields are maybe the nicest around. Hempfield park is maybe the nicest park around in 2019!

We all had such a fun time at the Hempfield Rec bonfire tonight. Congrats Chris Reed and the Spartans for making it to the playoffs!

Hempfield park is a great place to head out to if your looking to enjoy the outdoors with your children or just out for a nice walk or run. There are several baseball fields, a large football field area, soccer fields, and more sports fields are currently under construction, as well as plenty of open hillside fields and nice grassy areas to relax, picnic, or bring your dogs for a stroll. Plenty of pavilions available to rent out for gatherings or events. There is a concession stand open daily from 5-8pm also and several public restrooms. Park IS dog friendly to bring mans best friend out for a nice walk. Parking is free here as well..

Great place!

The activities of the Scouts from Delmont lead me to this facility. The Scouts aged 5 to teens enjoyed indoor activities and games. The facility has a well stocked snack bar and vending machines. There is a nice sitting area outside of gym area with a TV.The employees were friendly and helpful. The only reason that my rating isnt higher is my limited exposure to all the available amenities at the facility.

Basketball/Tennis/Track

First time there. It appears to be plenty bug with much to do. Parking is abundant.

Large indoor basketball courts, 3 with small bleachers for each. Very nice facility, plenty of parking. Concession stand, bathrooms, tables & chairs. Well maintained inside and out.

Wide spread park and recreational center.The staff in the office is real friendly.There are courts for tennis, baseball and basketball..They also lend the unused basketball courts for Badminton.Often ample parking is available, unless there is a major baseball game when it can get a little bit difficult to get space.The place is easily noticable from.a distance.

Beautiful setting and well maintained. The pavilion kitchen and bathroom are spotless. I noticed someone coming by several times to take away the recycling and garbage. Now thats how taxes should BE spent. Great job Hempfield park.

Went to play a pick up game of soccer, very fun experience, level of play was a good pace if you havent played in a while and want to get some of those muscles back in shape. 8-10 on Monday nights.
