What a great place for a walk. Great view too

Promenade of boats and locals as well as visitors taking a walk along the waterfront . Very peaceful

We truly enjoy a walk, or bike ride from the historic trains, through Chinook Pier Park, along the Lighthouse Connector, where we can listen to the water and head to Grand Haven South Pierhead!!

The park looked really cool and was easy to walk to. Strongly recommended. They also have a really cool fountain but sadly we didn’t get to see it.

I enjoy walking three pier, stopping for ice cream, and enjoy going to the various restaurants they have around town. I have been camping here at various times in my life and enjoy the coast guard festival they have in the summer

It was great despite Google Maps taking us to the other side of the channel and than showing little dots across the water to the Lighthouse and the USS Silverside & Museum. What were supposed to swim across? It was over an hour drive back around the Muskegon Bay/Lake to where we wanted to be.

A wonderful way to spend the day, some of the friendliest people in the world. Great views and awesome fishing. Clean restrooms nearby and visible working staff makes this place a top destination.

People were not wearing masks and no social distancing. Thats why I am just passing by vehicle. Stay safe not sorry. Wear mask it is law orded.

Very scenic view if Lake Michigan & channel called to Muskegon Lake. Clean restroom as well.

We visited because of the Coast Guard Festival. It’s a beautiful place in Grand Haven. It’s clean and easy to park at the other side of the street. Good memories. We are from the Netherlands and wasn’t our last time to visit....

Nice park, good view from the top, costs 5 dollars to go up, 100+ stairs but worth it for the view.

Omg, my first time coming here with my bestie of 21 years. This trip was absolutely breathtaking and amazing. So peaceful and just ultimately a great place to visit when you are so stressed out from everyday life and just need that peace of mind. Loved this place.

Was a hit day but beautiful the Hawaiian ice shop was amazing and their smalls are huge!!! The banana was really good. They keep the area so clean and nice. Was a beautiful trip there for a few hours we spent there.

The most amazing views, West side of Michigan is unbelievable!

Lovely walk along the canal from town (near the Musical Fountain) out to the lighthouse and pier. Great views of the canal, lighthouse and lake. Dog friendly, many benches along the way, and a few shops. Definitely worth a visit while in Grand Haven, makes a nice after dinner stroll to top off a day on the beach.

Nice little place to pull off the road and stop to stretch feet. Very beautiful location. Can watch the boats going out and comming in through the channel,.can watch people walking fhe boardwalk.. it can be used as a parkung place to take a stroll down the boardwalk yourself. Just realize, it will probbably be full when you arrive. Just wait your turn for a spot and you will be rewardwd with a really great place to start your adventure for the day. Take in all the sights you can see and enjoy the area. It foest grt much betters than Grand Haven in the summer!

It makes me get out the house and lose some weight off my mid section & anytime I can loose it I really push myself togo the distances with a walking stick with me

Great spot to watch the boats come in and out. Beach for sun, sand, and swimming too.

We stopped for ice cream and water. The water was ice cold and the ice cream - we ordered the double size - was surprizingly large! And of course it was delicious. Also, the staff was very helpful.

Always love lighthouses

It is so beautiful walking along the river to Lake Michigan. Many eateries along the way. Local mom and pop shops. Boating and fishing charters are available. Beautiful sunsets.

What a great Pier to walk out to see lake Michigan on.

This is a great place to stroll or have a sit and enjoy the view when the sun is shining. In winter months though, walking can be treacherous.

Super cool. On this day, it and the beach was very crowded due to a beach soccer tournament. Check their calendar of events before you make plans.

What can I say we love the walk along the channel and out to the pier and are very pleased with the new repairs and updates, As it is now wheel chair friendly . Grand Haven is one of our favorite spots, Great local restaurants in a nice little downtown.

Beautiful Park on Lake Michigan! Pristine beaches, clear water and sugar sand beaches. Tucked away, fairly private with great views of the lighthouse, pier, channel and lake.

Its just a parking spot

As the name suggests, its a connector between downtown Grand Haven and the lighthouse as well as the beach. Its a pleasant transition with benches, actual wooden boardwalk in places and snack shops in season. What could be better than a stroll to see a sunset at the beach with a lighthouse view while indulging in an ice cream cone?

The Lighthouse Connector Park is part of the Grand River Boardwalk, which stretches from the Coast Guard Station to the lighthouses. There are limited parking spaces across the street from Butches Beach Burritos, with both stair and wheelchair accessible entries to the boardwalk. This area is perfect for watching the sunset directly behind the lighthouses during October/November and February/March, or catching the freighters as they enter or leave the channel. The trees and light posts in this area add to the spectacular views.

Wonderful boardwalk along the Grand River just before it empties into Lake Michigan. Lots of benches to rest on while people, doggie and boat-watching. Starting at Escanaba Park near the Coast Guard station, walk, run, or ride your bike all the way down to the State Park and the south pier. Check out the magnificent seagull sculpture and enjoy a snow cone.

This place have public fishing theirs catfish, salmon, bluegill, pike, walleye, sheephead, bass larg/small and others

Pretty cool place, not terribly kid friendly. No railings on the lighthouse pier so be very careful. Odd parking lots and roads to get in and out. The old steam engine train nearby is really cool.
