You could smell the dog park but other than that my kids had fun

Great little park. Very clean and the water fountain for the furbabies is a nice touch. Quiet and right off of Grand so its VERY easy to get to.

Great dog park and friendly people. Although I do have to say that there are some homeless people who sit at the cabanas and hang out, which is a little unsettling. Also the dog park is closed on Mondays.

Its a ok dog park. Nice and big so they can run. There is no shade so your standing in the sun the entire time. And my dogs were covered in black ants.

I love this dog park however, they really need to do something to get rid of all of the goat head stickers all over inside the rocky areas next to the sidewalks...theyre absolutely thick!

The dog park was closed for “maintenance.” I think that means watering? Nothing was being watered... but I’m guessing the grass was getting a much needed rest! We hung out at some picnic tables, Zero met some kids and we enjoyed our time just sitting in the shade. It was a bit warmer than she was used to but she didn’t seem to care! The kids playground looked well maintained and clean. From what I saw there was no trash laying around and everything looked in good repair. Can’t wait to go back to the dog park when we get a chance!

Great park for our dog the past 2 months... It is big, and used to be empty... More people are coming, and bringing their dogs to play which is awesome... But some dont read the sign in front where it says, NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS. They want the park to themselves... It seems as if alot of dog owners dont give themselves the responsibility of picking up after their dogs either... 4 stars to the park... 1 star for dog owners... Note to City: Please install restrooms for us...

I love it here, theres like no one ever here so its perfect for me and my dog because I never know wheny dog is going to get reactive towards strangers. Oh and people dont pick up their dogs poop bit doesnt bother me, its to be expected.

Would of been nice to know they were closed on Mondays for maintenance yet I saw no one around. Limited parking unless you dont mind parking right on 63rd ave and climbing down a rocky hill. Lots of dog poop from people not picking up after there dogs. But there were lots of yards and decent sized too just would of been nice to be able to use them.

Nice Park. Has a play area thats clean and attractive to kids 3 and up. Sheltered Picnic tables and a Dog Park.

If park is going to be closed on Mondays it is reasonable that the next day trashes are not supposed to be full

Great park while the sun in up but as soon as the sun goes down its dark and you can barely see the play ground. Hard to see my daughter running around playing. Wish there were more lights because my daughter loves this park before dinner. But the dog part of the park is excellent. After six lights dont work

I wish we could get a dog park out by the new Libary off 83rd bethany, we dont have any this far west and they have a lot of open space. Its a drive to go to the other parks. The city of peoria has a lot of dog parks.

A great place for my dogs to run and have fun.

We loved the park! It was very clean, no dog poop left on the ground, very well maintained area. There was a lady with 3 large Huskies who were not trained at all. There ganged up on us with our two dogs immediately upon walking into the park. We still had our dogs on leashes and the lady yelled at us about removing the dogs leashes because they felt that our dogs had to protect us. This was the first time we have taken our dogs there however I would not enter the park if I see the owner with these dogs again. Not only did we feel threatened by these dogs, we watched three other couples with dogs leave the park because the huskies were let loose and ganged up on each dog. In fact, one couple barely made it in the gate before being attacked by the three huskies. The owner took several minutes to attempt to control her animals. Overall, we loved the park. I will return, but beware of the huskies, as it has been noted they visit the park frequently, their owner states they are the police of the park.

My 4 year old daughter loves coming to this park. She calls it the fire fighter truck park because the jungle gym is a giant red fire fighter truck. I personally do not favor the dog park only for the fact that there never seems to be any dogs here. I guess if your worried about your dog being around other dogs than this is the place to come!

Nice big dog park. But nothing close by. A LONG walk to actually access the dog park itself too

I like it because the big dog yard is ginormous. I just dont like how far of a walk it is from car to get to the yards. And it gets very dark at night with minimal lighting. Also, one fountain outside of the yards. I always bring my own water and bowl.

Went here for the dog park. Its a nice park, a littel disappointed that pet owners dont clean up after there dogs. But overall its a nice convenience for fido.

This is some place i have spent alot of time for many years! Dog park and kids playground area. Covered picnic table areas. Safe place open until close and stores etc nearby.

It is an ok park but the bathrooms are always stopped up, and the park equipment its never sanitized.

So far it has been.going good the only problem i have had is some thet their dog run loose not in the gated area. Which scared my cats when the dog ran up on us. My cats are around dogs all the time just not use to being ran up on

They have four yards only two are active at a time, I would understand if it was a busy park but only light traffic usually. The yards were full of poop not fresh just that people arent cleaning up poop.RUDE, I have dogs used to running in the fields where I dont have to pick up poop, but have respect, this is a dog park pick up. We also had an issue with young man trying to get his aggressive dog more socializing, this is a common mistake aggressive dogs are usually fearful, and bombarding them with dogs at dog park is scary, for all involved. There are better ways there are trainers that user positive methods that work well with most, and there are lots of better ways to address the problems.

Super quiet park. Kind of out of the way so not likely to be a whole lot of people. Had a cool bike riding course thing which was a nice bit of fun. Plenty of open space and a nice playground.

Nice park but wth is wrong with the lights at night? Lights don’t work and is too dark after 6pm.

Its ok, its sometimes closed but the city doesnt say or post anything. you have to go there and find out for yourself. It is also not properly maintained.

I found it difficult to find. The signage wasnt great. Once I found the dog park, it was quiet, but clean. There was plenty of seating for their non-canine visitors. The only thing I didnt like was the lack of water for the dogs. The Saguaro Ranch Park nearby has a pump so water can be provided.

I normally take my dogs to this park at night since its hot during the day. The fences are sturdy and work well. They have a water fountain on the ground for your pup. They have 4 cages, to seperate small and large dogs. Overall nice park.

Great for dogs. It has separate places for large and small dogs. Places to sit while the pooch runs around. No human restrooms.

This afternoon was great because no one else was there. There is a lack of poop bags but people have brought plastic grocery bags. Unfortunately, not all pet owners use them.

Tried to come here 2 different times with my dog.... according to their signage - they should have been open- but no! There was nothing posted on grounds or website stating why it was not open- NOT GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE - NOT VERY NICEWasted my gas and time to drive there for nothing.

The only reason I dont like it there is their is no restrooms

This is a great park. I dont go on weekends so Im not sure how crowed it gets then. But I love to walk my dog all around this area. They really cleaned up in back of park. Just a great way to have fun with your dog!

Fun for the kids

There is 4 fenced off areas but only one open. There isnt any real area with shade so youre in the sun the whole time. I would recommend early morning or as the sun is going down to visit. Becareful cause alot of the newer owners or ones that dont care dont control their dogs. But not to many dog parks around so its better then nothing.

This is one of my favorite parks in the area. It is good size and is rairly crowded. Of of the best aspects is that its set a fair distance back from the road so you dont have to worry about little ones running into traffic.

We love the dog park here. My kids love to play on the toys. We also have had many picnics/BBQs & a B-day party there. It is quiet with lovely landscaping.

I go at night when nobody else is there with their dogs because mine doesnt like other animal. Would be great if the water fountain worked to get my dog some water while Im there so I didnt have to carry a jug with me but overall it has a nice amount of space and secure fencing for my dog to run around

Nice big dog park. Usually go on Sunday afternoon and its never crowded. Usually a few dogs on the big side and on or none on the small side. Had an issue a couple times with people putting big dogs on the small dog side.

Quiet place to bring your dog

Nice park, got caught with my pants down- well my dog did. I forgot to bring poo sacks, luckily, there were some there for public disposal. now ever time I go I bring a hand full of bags to restock just in case... far from my house but its the closest one to me. Apparently I live in a dog park dead zone.

Nice size park, needs more shade but not everyone cleans up after their pets or themselves.

Great dog park and family park. 3 picnic ramadas and nice playground for kids. 4 separate gated parks for small and big dogs including benches and water fountain for dogs. NEGATIVE: NO restrooms!!

Long walk from parking to dog areas. Poorly disclosed as far as where to go. Largely separated trash cans and limited pick up bags. Inconveniently placed all around. Open field space with little coverage or seating areas.

Me and another dog owner were kinda bullied out by the maintenance crew. They didnt care that we were there they just barged in opening all the gates riding their lawn mowers with our dogs out. The grass was shooting out the sides of the mower hitting me and the other dog owner one man even tried to have me walk around the park to check the trash cans for him... The other dog owner left so i followed. It was just so unprofessional.
