Was surprised that the park was unmaintained after seeing so many good reviews. No path to walk along, the grass was like crab grass. The creek flows around the park. But only one or two places to access it through the the bushes lining the steep banks. To be fair the playground areas were under construction and look like they will be nice when done. One of the access points led to a rope swing that was over the creek which was a nice.

Lovely park for just a beautiful walk ro exrerices or just a stroll by yourself or with the kids. Park has a swing set from what I seen that the kids were playing it. Went for a birthday party. Very spacious and cool. Would definitely look into it myself for something outside with space.

Dont go on the weekend. Church folks tend to monopolize the space with all their thousands of unleashed kids. And Jesus music. Loud jesus music. Peaceful? Not so much.

Its a small place with nothing much to do. But for family gathering its a nice place.

Beautiful, peaceful, clean and my new favorite spot.

I remember going out to this place many times back in the seventies when we were teenagers. Firewheel golf course or the whole neighborhood didnt exist back then. It was a little spooky what with the devil worshipers going out there and leaving their remnants behind on the ground.

Beautiful old city park, with lots of tables and space to always have room for you and your family.

Great place for you and your wife to go after dinner at TGI Fridays, before you pick the kids up from their grandparents house, to have a quicky!

It is a nice and quiet park to come with your family but the public restrooms needs attention!

I liked this park. Its has a really beautiful scenery. There are lots of pretty trees providing lots of shade. There is also a little area for lityle children to play and a lare field area big enough to play ball or frisbee. There is a huge pavilion for hug family cookout or picnic parties.The only thing I didnt like is even though you dont have to walk far to the little restroom building, there werent any doirs to the stalls only shower curtains. Im not comfortable with that. So I wouldnt go alone if I really had to go, nor would I allow children to go alone. I also suggest the install a soap dispener, hand dryer, and a baby diaper changing station, some lighting for the evening (maybe lighting that can be solar charged durig the day). Oh.... and lets not forget doors for the stalls.
