Make sure you have a floater on your fishing pole. Your hook can easily get stuck in some areas., No swimming areas.Could be dangerous for toddlers since there is no fence from the sidewalk and the water. Good place for fishing. But havent caught any after being there for a while. I didnt see any restroom around. Has a beautiful view of the sunset.Good for picnic. Nice trail.Great place for couples and kids to walk around and fish. The wood on the fishing dock is in good condition but may need to be updated.Parking is ok. Did not see a parking lot so you have to park near the street. Total overall: Good place to go.

Girlfriend had a good time downtown. The bathrooms are roomy. Re-entry was possible. Social distancing sucks in more ways than one. I did not kiss a fish

Its a good place for relaxing. and you are looking in to photography ways this is the best place to take beautiful sunrise pictures.and best place for bank fishing if you are in correct spot according to the season. Now a day more jet skies so beware of your line too.have a boat Ramp.but need to wait long to get in and get out due to more people on the line

Its a nice place to go walking with strollers, no hand rails around the water or peirs so keep a close eye on little ones. Cute picnic areas, with hibachi grills. Needed grass mowed and a little trash picked up.

Me and my wife really enjoyed walking the pathway at night. Alot of friendly people and got to just look at the stars. It was very peaceful and a beautiful view.

It was calm and quiet. Only caught 1 drum while fishing there with a worm. No complaints

Theres a busy boat ramp. Plenty of parking. Picnic tables. Bathrooms. Trash cans. a lot of fishermen. And good views.

Need to fix restrooms or add 2 porta potties. And make sure company cleans them out especially before a holiday, I mean come on everyone knows people flock to the lakes on Labor Day weekend! But yet when I called the number in the PP they said they’re closed so it would be 3 days before they would get there. GROSS!!! The 1 was already so full it was disgusting to use! So we left. I’m sure it will overflow tomorrow and be a health hazard the rest of the holiday weekend! Won’t be coming back until situation improves.

The sun was just right and the breeze was blowing. There was a Bench to sit on and plenty of room for the Pandemic. Ducks were friendly. Good for fishing, also.

Its a great ace to take the kiddos fishing or have a picnic.I love seeing and feeding the ducks..and my dog loves to go on his walks over there

My 15 year old son and I tried fishing here but we kept getting stuck in the mud. It actually broke his brand new rod. It was really pretty at 7am but I dont recommend for fishing.

Not a bad fishing park to go fish. Shore line is decent to fish from. Caught only one fish within 2 hours of fishing.I can confirm that there is stripe bass swimming around there since i caught one.

Open area... Big parking lot.. People mind their business and are cool. Nice chill area and pretty good on fishing for the most part.

A lot of trash, city was there to clean and did but people leave trash instead of using trash cans or picking up after themselves.

Very nice views right off the George Bush Turnpike and interstate 30. Right on the lake. Theres a paved walk way along the lake but no gaurd rails and its a 5 to 6 foot drop right into the water so be careful. Theres some trash around parts but its not overwelming. There are people who come and smoke weed but they seem to mind their own business, not out to sell or bother others.They have public grills which is one of the main reasons I went. They also have picnic tables and docks. Wouldnt be a bad place to go fishing or for a good walk or to walk the dog. You can see far and wide from the lake front. Across the street are very nice houses. I felt very comfortable here. Everyone at the park was there just to enjoy the out doors. I wouldnt mind coming here on a daily basis. I think if the city invested a little more in keeping it clean it would be even better. Over its a good park right on the lake with very nice views. A great place to get out and enjoy nature. The air is clean and theres plenty of paved walk way.

There was to much stuff to get caught on in the water when you cast out. But me and my dad were fishing off the sidewalk and caught a few drum and catfish.

Enjoyed Lake Ray Hubbard

We love the calming sense of this place.

It is one of the few, perhaps singular, free boat ramps left on the I30 side of Lake Ray Hubbard. The ramp itself is spacious and well lit; however, the potholes create a bit of an obstacle course scenario. The only other irritant is on busy weekends when many non boaters park in the trailer lanes. There is an adjacent picnic area that is quite popular and there isnt enough parking for that day use area.

Great place for bringing the family for a picnic. Or just to sit and reflect. But not the greatest to try and fish from. Too man branches trees and rocks.

Great place for a picnic with your family and friends, very friendly ppl around the area, family oriented. Great place for some peace and good place to go fishing as well, also you can take your boats or jetskis out there, have plenty of parking. Only thing that would make this park better is if the city would clean it up a bit, cut the grass, pick up the trash around the area, making it look better and cleaner.

Great fishing spot but all the debris floating next to shore is heartbreaking. You would think that they would send someone to clean up. However, the parks are under one county while the body of water under another one.

Is located off of Bass pro dr and Zion rd...it has boat ramp and a side side walk that follows the bank of lake ray hubbard...it has 3 covered benches with open top grills great for hot dogs and bugers..there are also public restrooms but the city does not clean them as they should so beware ...its a great park to relax and chill ...it is also a known fish spot...slow slow bite but when they do its worth it....enjoy your trip

Roads and ramp are beyond disrepair. No reasonable way to get passengers in and out of boat.#GarlandFail

Nice wide boat ramp and lots of parking. Also has restrooms. Beware if it is windy, though. It can be very difficult to launch, especially if the wind is blowing from the north, and the concrete seawall can beat up your boat.

The parking lot SUCKS so very rough, boat ramp is large enough to launch three to four boats at a time but because no lanes are marked people cant launch boats correctly, parking lot needs more lighting for safety.
