Amazing experience! Really prepares you for the real thing. Staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell they are all passionate about what they do which provides great energy and a positive environment for patrons.
My wife and I came here a couple weeks ago. When we were done, we explained to out flight instructor that we wanted to get passes to bring each of our kids over the next few months. The instructor told us to buy a pass. We did. We booked for my daughter and came back with her. They informed us we had bought a pass that could only be used one time. We paid for 10 flights and got 3. They riipped us off. The General Manager Heidi said there was nothing she could do. They have a pass for 5 flights that does exactly what we needed. She could have reimbursed the purchase and then allowed us to buy that one. She could have let my daughter fly this time and given us 4 vouchers for our other children. She could have let my daughter fly and told us to just bring all of the other next time and cancelled the voucher on this one. There is a difference between a business and a business leader who thinks to solve issues and a business and leader that just says there is nothing we can do when they mess up. Heide and ifly Montgomery is the latter not the former.

The manager Heidi so aggressively tried to up sell us for the high fly experience that my 11 and 14 year old became focused pretty much only on that. She tried 6 times in a 5 minute conversation while checking in and told my kids they wont get a full experience without it... it got to the point that I had to tell her to stop. Not everyone has unlimited funds and the used car sales approach is very off putting; everyone else there was very nice and professional.... Heidi threw me a picture voucher when i complained to try to make it right although that is not what she pitched to my kids over and over, and didnt resolve the problem she created. Heidis approach partially spoiled this for my kids and me... thanks Heidi
Me & my friend had the time of our life. We are both considering going skydiving one day so this was a preliminary step for us to see if we liked it. We absolutely loved it. It was a surprise for her birthday and she couldn’t stop talking about it afterwards. We even bought more packages to go back soon! The high flight is a must. Baz was a great instructor and I would definitely request him again when we go back. This was an awesome experience!

The facility was able to work with me when the other members of my session were not able to arrive at the scheduled time. They were patient and accomadating. They took everyones temperature and cleaned after the sessions. Before getting in the wind tunnel, they covered a lot of information and tips, and were really good at explaining and answering questions. After getting your session, be prepared for them to upsale you on an extra session or a high flight. They also offer a return session for double the time at half the price that you can only purchase after you flight. We be going back.
Staff was VERY friendly and laid back which I loved. They were very helpful and answered all of our questions. I do think the prices are a little high for only being able to fly a couple times which feels like less than 10 minutes. But besides the cost, everything else was very wonderful and I would definitely recommend people to go.
I always thought this would be a fun activity, but the price kept me away. I got the black friday package and that was the way to go! I scheduled the flights for my birthday, and after my guests canceled on me (and my family coming along but with injuries) I was told that I would not be able to reschedule. I was prepared to do as many flights as I could to get my moneys worth (10 minutes of flying) but the head flight instructor ended up allowing me to reschedule. (Thanks Gator!) The flight instructors I came in contact with all had an enthusiastic attitude, and a calming demeanor.I would suggest going into the location to talk to the staff for important things. I was hung up on twice, and when I called to confirm my time the person on the phone told me the wrong time! But of course, it was made right and we all had a fun time.

Really awesome! The indoor skydiving instructors were patient and attentive. They are clear and concise with their instructions. The package deal seemed expensive at first but it was so much fun that it was worth it.

Everything about this place is great from check in to the safety class to the attention the instructor gives you. It is also spotless. They have everything you need including lockers for your valuables. It is expensive but worth it for the experience. Make sure you include high flying.
Five stars just visiting on the observation deck or flight deck whatever its called. Absolutely enjoyed watching the family of five do there two flights and their instructor was amazing. Instructors name was Boone and Michael. Both very awesome. I would highly recommend them. Keep up the great work. So that way when I booked my session for my family those are the 2 instructors that I will request when the time comes
I will start by saying that I am not a fan of heights at all, but it was my sons birthday and my present to him was 2 flys each. When I walked in the young ladies up front were very welcoming and ready to explain and answer any questions we had, the office manager was out and about talking to everyone and she even stopped to take our picture !! I want to recognize JOE our instructor he was awesome like I said I don’t like heights but I felt totally comfortable with him and the gentleman out side the glass controlling the tunnel they were in tune the entire time thank you all so much for everything I’ve already told everyone I’ve seen to go check y’all out!!!!!!Phillip
A little intimidating at first especially because everyone around is watching you, but you easily forget after going in to fly. Our instructor was very friendly and helpful, making this a fun experience. Will definitely be back.
I love this place. I came here on a day off from school and it was the best day ever. I had so much fun with Indoor Skydiving, and the staff were amazing.
What a great experience. The instructors were fun and informative. They were easy to trust. I have experienced two different instructors here and they both were very encouraging. I also saw both of them with children and they were both attentive to the childrens anxiety level. One of the instructors even stopped one flight to make sure the child was feeling OK.
I would give 5 stars for a 2X T-shirt. Was promised a T-shirt, or a bag for the chosen pkg deal. We HAD to ask for it on our way OUT. They only had one size T-shirts L! & no bags!? At least she smiled when she said, Sorry!
Its a fun place to go to . I wouldnt recommend adding a photo. It costed me $3.95 to get it via email and was very dark. I recommend using your own camera.

I visited IFly with my two sons 4 months ago. Out host Derek was very energetic and really boasted the experience for my kids. I’d highly recommend booking a package on Groupon as this place is fairly pricey so any saving is beneficial. I gave it 4 stars simply for the price point.
Great time as a birthday activity for my husband. It was our first time. Staff was very helpful. A little difficult to breathe in flight but you should keep your mouth closed. Didnt figure that out until the 2nd flight. This is definitely an activity that needs practice to feel comfortable at. But for the first time I was happy to just get in the tunnel. There are 2 different helmets to wear blue and red. Red has a screen to cover your face. I was told that for better face pictures the blue is a better option. I chose blue of course. Next time I will choose the red to see if that helps with my anxiety with breathing while in the tunnel.

Went to this place two times already. Both times were amazing. The staff are friendly and make sure you’re safe in the tunnel and make sure you understand the signals sent to ensure safety. There’s a tiny gift shop when you enter if you want to purchase something. They even host birthday parties and fun gatherings. Definitely recommend this place for a party and for a fun time with friends. Though one thing is it’s expensive, $70 per person
Just had our first visit and had a blast. Me and my 7 y/o along with wife and baby...staff was great. But Mark who works at the from was absolutely amazing. Friendly, beyond helpful and the experience was amazing. Again Mark thx so much bra.

They just opened this location last week and I have taken my kids twice already. The staff is fun, knowledgeable and knows how to handle both adults and kids alike. Gator, who is the lead instructor, went out of his way to make sure my two boys were given the most for their time in the wind tunnel. They are both excited to go back and fly some more.
My boyfriend got a gift card here, so we used it & had a blast! It was definitely once-in-a-lifetime experience (also because it was so expensive). The pricing is steep and I wouldnt pay it on my own. That being said, it was fun, I loved the outfits, and I felt safe. I do wish, however, there was a little more training ahead of time to feel more comfortable.

Interesting tease. Only two one minute rides takes over 90 minutes for sign the n, suit up, classroom, rotation through your group. Fun. Worth the time. If I lived closer Id go back for the 10 rides $130. Go with a group.

I was a little nervous, but their instructors feel more like coaches & helped me enjoy the experience. My first flight was a bit tricky, but the instructor helped me with keeping my body aligned. Definitely get the option for flying higher with the instructor- the best part by far!

This was so much fun. I thought I was going to have a panic attack on the first fly. It was fun.
New place to have a thrilling experience. Very safe handling of the flying activity. For adults and kids alike. Fliers wear suits and goggles, there is a classroom where safety rules are taught before walking over to the benches to await a turn. We took 3 teens who had a blast. Bought tickets for my husband and I to go back. Return tickets are deeply discounted and can be used any time. The activity is on the second floor and there is an elevator in addition to stairs. The chamber where the flights happen is clear so all can watch. An employee is inside with the fliers at all times. They also put on a short performance to show off their skills. Really amazing new place. A room off to the side with tables can be set up for a party. Highly recommend.

I liked the experience and it was something I had been looking forward to for a while. That being said, it went so quickly that I’m still debating if it was worth the money.The staff was very friendly and they worked really hard to get everyone involved and have a great experience. You do have to see a video before that explains the “signs” that the instructor will be telling you once you’re in the chamber. It can be hard to breathe but you have to relax!Overall, you get a certificate at the end which is cute. But the total time you actually “flew” was like 4 minutes, and you paid $90. I paid extra to be taken higher. Then the pictures are also extra. So, experience was great but I still feel kinda cheated. I wouldn’t do this again unless I had money to throw around. (I was invited for my birthday this time)

On November 29, 2019 I called ifly in Gaithersburg to cancel a slot for November 30 at 1430hrs, due to circumstances beyond my control I wasnt able to participate. The scheduler asked do I want to reschedule but I decline because I didnt know when I was able to make it to Gaithersburg. So he told me that the manger will credit my account and it will take 5days. Its been 5 days no refund nor receipt nor phone/email saying anything. Also I was unaware that they will charge my credit card a day or two before my time slot. Please be aware of this fraudulent activity that they are displaying. I will look for other activities to do in montgomery county md. First and last time with them.

The positive attitude of the instructors really make the the experience even more amazing and fun. I always love going here and flying with my friends. The experience of flying is totally worth it. I chose the 4 flights and it was about right @ $127. The two flights didnt feel like it was enough for me. Definitely glad I did the 4. Each flight is only 60 seconds. The instructors were helpful and very nice. Despite some of the participants not following the four basic rules/hand signals and created a difficult flight . The instructors handled it well and kept their cool. I guess they expect this from time to time. Great family fun but there is a weigh limit 260lbs and it sure does work your core.
We went as a group of 3. The experience was very fun, floating around with the instructors was a nice taste of free fall . Hoping to get to the point where we can fly alone, it is very enjoyable, but the price is a bit much for frequency. Great time as a special occasion.
Fun place if you like trying new things. Make sure to ask for a full face mask since wind can make breathing a little difficult. Overall great experience.
