Great Fun Getaway or For Birthday Parties... Had my sons 10th it was a blast

This place is nice for a nice fun family day. The people who work here are young nice kids who where willing to help. The guy working in the lazer tag area was very nice and good with the kids. The only downfall was that a few of the arcade games were out of order but I still give them 5 stars because regardless we still had a good time.

We have used this location for my son’s birthday multiple times. This was the last time. I ordered a hot dog from the kitchen here. The rules are “no outside food” “no refunds on food orders”. I never thought of why that was a weird business practice. The hot dog came out still cold on the inside and the bun was so freezer burner I couldn’t just let it go. I showed the hot dog to the person behind the counter and he reached over and tipped back the sign stating no refunds. NOPE get the manager. When the manager came by she required my receipt to to refund the order. She must have thought I brought this hot dog in with me. End of story if you require purchase of food and do not allow food to be brought in, you need to have edible food on site.I even took a picture of the hot dog it was that bad. If you go here!! Bring your own food. If they give you a hard time show them this photo. You are inevitably going to be trapped by a birthday invite.

A fantastic place for kids to play! My kids and our party guests had so much fun! They helped us plan a birthday party at literally the last minute and accommodated us so well. Terrance, Kim and Mohammed were so helpful!! Truly a place to have your next birthday party or to just drop in.

I have older 19, 18, 11 and 7 year old that love the place. Clean and staff are very helpful. Got the groupon deal and its a great way to save. They have a rope line type of thing. But is extra. Arcade is nice and prizes of the games are good. The laser tag game was awesome according to the kids. Will be back for more. Great for parties too.

We love this place! It’s family-friendly and clean. The staff is wonderful- especially Kim. We’ve been coming since this location first opened and will keep coming. My kids (ages 7 & 9) love it!

Went to a private party at the Gaithersburg location, and had a blast. It was worth every penny. The staff was friendly and attentive, the venue was super clean. They had a fun arcade game selection, and the laser tag equipment was in good working order. The playfield had a great, diverse layout with an awesome looking blacklight forest motif. Highly recommend!

Kids had fun. The wait was not too long. I enjoyed momentary solitude.

Great time for everyone. Loved this place could use more arcade games but it is still pretty new give them time. My wife loved the obstacle course and the boys had a blast in laser tag great place for the birthday parties.

Came on a Saturday afternoon with 4 kids to do laser tag which is not well managed. The kids never knew when to go in. Birthdays parties took up all the space. Never once was there an announcement that the next laser tag game was ready to start. We bought 2 games for all the kids and it took over 1.5hrs to get them in. Expectations should be set when purchasing the games. Our kids were harassed by by the birthday groups. Staff could have done more.

Phenomenal experience! This location is well-run, bright, and very clean. The staff is informative, professional, and really wanted my kids to have a good time. We will definitely be back!

We love the laser tag obstacle. But everything else could use updating. Fill all the empty space and make it come alive for the children. Outside of laser tagging everything else was a bore.

New addition to our rainy day list! The staff at Castle Laser Tag were great on our first visit making an awesome time for my seven year old and for me too! Between the ropes course and the laser tag we filled several hours with high energy play time (hoping to wear the kids energy out before mine. I played and broke a sweat too). We arrived just the two of us and there are plenty of Birthday Parties providing teams of kids to play with. Highly recommend, well be back!

We hosted my daughters birthday party there and the girls had a blast. Everything was clean and well organized. Kim and her team took very good care of us.

Disappointed with the place . We went for a birthday party, the place was under construction. Food was okay.

If I could give them a a negative amount of stars I would!! I came with my older children and there was a birthday party full of 7 and 8 year olds going on. Once I saw that this big group of little kids were going in to play laser tag at the same time that we were supposed to...I opted out. They should have informed us that a birthday party full of little kids would be playing at the same time we were supposed to play and let us make the decision if we wanted to play with them or not. I ask to use the 14.00 that I spent to play for 30 minutes in the arcade portion of the facility, I was told that I couldnt. I asked for a refund...they do not give refunds. They gave me two coupons for 15 minutes of play time...but I was told I could not use them at the same time. I was told I could only use 1 per visit...even though I paid for a full 30 minute game. The manager advised that I use one for myself and give one away or come back twice. Who is he to tell me how to spend my time and money? This is RIDICULOUS. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!! I suggest anyone over the age of 8 not either! It is a total rip off!

This was awesome. Lazer tag was cool because you could get people out (the suit light turns off) that you didnt have in your group of people.

Ive read some negative reviews about Castle laser tag at Gaithersburg, and didnt feel ease to book a birthday party there. But my kids were bored of other party places nearby. Some places are too kiddie; some are too crowded; party assistants in some places are doing nothing! My kids like the idea of rope courses and laser tag combination (arcade game is a plus!) and they want to try this new place. I am glad I made the right decision. It turned out to be a wonderful party! They must have improved the management or have done some changes. Staffs we met were very polite and helpful. When our party have finished all activities, the food we ordered with the package were still not ready. The party assistant offered us another round of laser tag because it wasnt a lot of other players at that time, so our kids wouldnt get bored while waiting for their food. They didnt ask for any extra charge for the extra round. I can feel their staffs were trying their best to make guests happy. My kids have asked me for another birthday party at castle laser tag again next year! Even my kids friends who attended our party want a birthday party at here for themselves too! We are highly satisfied with castle laser tag. Hope they will keep the high quality in the future!

This is our favorite laser tag in the area. It is not only very spacious but it also has better prizes for the kids to exchange at the end. Also, there are food options on site and within walking distance from the place, in case you need to go wait somewhere else.

Kids had a blast. The laser tag area is medium size with lots of places to hide. The arcade area is for all ages. My family had fun when we went.

We had a bday party for 10-11 year old here. They had a blast. O is the best operator there hands down. The kids loved his energy and he was good at communicating with the adults in when and where things were in the duration of the party.

Went there for my friends birthday party. It is new, has a cool arcade, and has cool looking guns.

Great place for family fun! Sizeble space, ropes course, game room in addition to laser tag room, which has a pretty fun course. The young ones will not only have big fun, they will burn off the pizza & cake calories, and still be tired enough to fall right out at bedtime... Nirvana! Helpful, Friendly staff. Good for whenever or a birthday.

Awesome new laser tag place. Finally something new to do around here. Laser tag, indoor ropes course, and arcade games are all great, as well as the prices. The popcorn is good too. Cant wait until people hear about this so the laser tag matches will have more people.

The new equipment and varied terrain makes the laser tag super fun~! I was not impressed with my interactions with staff. We had a birthday party, and they did not do a good job of explaining the schedule or choices with enough time to make it happen. I would have really appreciated if they walked me through how the party would go, over the phone They need to take time to listen to customers and explain, especially if the are not flexible. Things were a bit chaotic, but my kids had a great time anyway.

The Castle was great - they took good care of us, and our son and his friends had a blast!

Poor customer service.We were very exited to go to this place to try laser tag game and made a reservation for two games 2 weeks in advance. We have our first game at the scheduled time; however, staff asked us to wait for the second round as there was a birthday party game scheduled at the same time as ours. We waited, and waited, and waited.... but they could not get us in. After we finally got onto the laser tag floor, one of the staff members came up and asked us to return the equipment because it was needed for another birthday party. (This staff member was very disrespectful, rude, and did not care that my kids were upset). At this point my 2 little kids were in tears because they waiting for a long time and wanted to play their game, and now they were, pretty much, beeing kicked out of the floor. After requesting the explanation, we were told that we are walk-ins and birthday parties are priority (but how about my reservation 2 weeks in advance ...? No one could explain). We requested to speak to the manager and asked for the refund. (My kids were still crying). Manager told us that we cannot get a refund according to the companys policy. Manager offered my kids free rope obstacle course, which was very nice of her, and eventually my kids could have that laser tag game. We just wish, we could have quality customer service from the staff, and would not have to go through all this drama just to play a game.

CLEAN and fun games. Great for kids of all ages. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We have been several times and my kids have had a blast each time!

We held our sons 7th birthday party here, and I really cant say enough about the staff and the location. First off, its extremely clean and bright. The games were all well maintained, and updated. The prizes were superior to any other arcade weve been to.Every staff member was kind and helpful. The manager came up and introduced herself immediately, and made sure we were all set.While everything at Castle Laser Tag was great, the best part was Tyler, who ran our party. He was extremely energetic, engaged with the kids, and on top of everything. He spent the entire two hours doing stuff with, and for the kids. He was constantly visible. Ive never had such a great party planner.We definitely plan on having more parties at Castle Laser Tag-Gaithersburg.

Horrible customer service. Very disrespectful employees. Very rude that an employee had to use foul language when speaking to a paying customer especially in a children environment.

We had a big BD party for our twins at Castle Laser Tag. We were very happy with the place and the staff. The manager, Kim King, was very helpful and helped us with picking the right package and making sure our kids and their guests have a great time.

My kids and I had a great time Castle LT. The place was clean with new equipment and several activity options. We liked the laser tag best and although we had to wait a little bc of birthday parties/other patrons, the staff was extremely helpful and tried their best to keep everyone happy and things running smoothly. Will be coming back

My kid attended two different virthday parties here and had a great time with her friends. The location is convenient (near I-270) and establishment clean with working games.

Feels not crowded, spacious and lots of play time. Has mini kitchen on site. If staff tried to help a little more, the place would be excellent.

Place is a wonderland for kids, especially if they come to unwind and let loose...plenty of activities besides lazer-tag, arcades, high ropes balance plank-walks...which is a very good cardio and a motivational feature to challenge fears...but yes, this is an awsome place with an even more extra awsome staff to help and make the experience more interesting for first timers...

Brand new laser tag in Gaithersburg MD. Had a bday party for a 13 year old. All boys. Everyone had tons of fun. Small arcade, nice laser tag layout, small ropes course. Ample parking. Located near Shady Grove road. Staff was nice and accommodating.

My son just had the best birthday party I could EVER host for fifteen 6 year olds at Castle Laser Tag! I really enjoyed the open space for the kids to roam and fun, kid and adult friendly atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and agreeable, they didnt rush us through the events and they took time to recognize/welcome each child as they arrived. The pizza was delicious, served warm with good size slices, and the unlimited soda was perfect for thirtsy little mouths. We will definently be going back next school day off!

This would be more fun with more people, so bring a lot of people but I found myself getting tagged a lot.
