I like this park it’s nice quiet not over crowded during the times I go and the walk/running path is a 1 mile around. Normally do 2 laps for exercise. Lots of play grounds for kids, tennis courts and even a wooded walking trail (not improved, so you have to be able to walk it without assistance)
I run here often! A little bit of a hill but overall an enjoyable walk and hike. Plenty of fishing spots and areas to sit back and enjoy the lake.
Visited the dog park with our dog. Loved it! Two separate enclosures for large & small pups. It was very cloudy today so our big pup had the space to himself. He & his dad had a great time! The space is very big; plenty for a big dog! Went over by the lake too. Gorgeous! Come visit! Its worth it. Relaxing on a quiet day. Dont know about sunny days when there are probably lots of people about, but Im sure its still pretty great. Well definitely be back!
Great place to exercise, walk your dog a little out if the way but thats fine
Great place for everyone. Restrooms were very clean. Love the park.
For toddlers its great. For older kids (5+) not so much. You took out the big kids playground. Its boring for older kids now.
Had a great time watching my grandson playing baseball. Bathrooms are quite a walk and no concessions.
I love bringing my dogs to this park. We can walk leisurely. Its never really crowded & everyone is friendly.
Beautiful place to walk before baseball games!
I love this park and always try to come to it. It’s a great size, not too big, and has beautiful views of the lake and nice areas to enjoy it from. I enjoy the fact that it has a tennis and volleyball court
First visit to the park. The grounds look maintained and trash bins emptied regularly. We came for the splash pad but it is closed due to Covid-19. This information is not posted on the county website. I look forward to coming back when the splash pad reopens.
I enjoyed it. Very nice walking trail. Plenty of benches to take a break and relax looking out at the lake. Friendly people. Clean restrooms. Very pleasant experience.
Nice place to walk and take in the beautiful lake . Bring your dogs they have a place for them to run .
We were invited to a birthday party at this park. I would love to go back and explore some more one day. The splash pad was good for younger kids, reasonably priced. I wish they were open for more hours though. I know lots of families that would go during the week.
The baseball fields were in great shape considering all the rain we had I really enjoyed going to watch my grandson play baseball Laurel Park is a great place for cookout and family outings
I went fishing and it is a wonderful park for kids and to go fishing or to workout
Great place to walk! The track is paved. It is hilly. A stroller does well! There’s also a trail in the woods for adventure. Great dog park, one side for big dogs and one for small. Very large fenced in areas, also on a hill. Baseball fields are in the sun and provide no shade, bring your own tent or umbrella. Access to swim in the lake too! Great volley ball courts and tennis courts. There’s a splash pad for kids. Large pavilions that can be rented out near a playground with lots of grass area to spread out. Such a great park.
Great place to take the family for a day out if your looking for a nice walk or run with a nice view of the lake give it a try and you may enjoy the view
Nice place to relax
It is very quiet most of the time. We walk at around 7am or 8am at least 3 days a week. Nice walking path. The dogs love it there. They cant wait to get out of the car a take a nice walk. Theres a volleyball court and a tennis courts. You can also rent Pavilions. It is so nice seeing the sun come up over the lake. Beautiful.
Favorite spot to go, they have a fenced area for dogs, walking trails, kids play ground, can fish, and is free to get in
Fairly nice place. My family enjoys going there.
Great park for the family
It has a splash pad for the kids, great place to take kids during summer for just $2 each child. It has a great walking trail. The kids playgrounds could be updated but are in fair condition. Has several pavilions to do meeting or whatever.
One of the best parks in hall county. It has everything you need to have a good time with family and friends
This place is great for walking and jogging. I used it all the time for the first year of my sons life.
Great park. Nice walking trail that is paved for strollers. Today, part of it is underwater, though. So we had to walk along the ball field fence. Theres a splash park for summer heat, lots of picnic tables and a huge boat ramp area. Tennis courts, volleyball courts and playgrounds, besides the ball fields means lots of choices for activities.
I went here for special Olympics with my son and his best friend... I live local so I drove. When I tried to find a parking spot none were available...Cars were parked up on the grassy areas on hills in medians... you name it a car was parked there... at the time I had a small low level car so I parked up on the curb as best I could... it’s the best I could do!The day was over and I got a ticket on my car because I was up on the curb...but all the cars that went over the curb into the grass were fine.. (who knew)... my car couldn’t make it over the curb without bottoming out I was very disappointed but paid the ticket and learned my lesson...PS... other cars that did the same as me didn’t have tickets... guess I was in the wrong place at the wrong time... oh!!! It’s also fair the mention I had a handicap tag but no available spots were there. So now YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
Really nice place with a bit of everything. A mile long walking trail around the lake, baseball fields, two playgrounds, splash pad, dog park, boat docks, lakeside swings, tables, plenty of open field for other sports, lots of parking, wooded trails.
Great park, wonderful views of the lake, nice and open. Fun place for the whole family.
A great park in Gainesville in North Hall. Had never been here before, but we were there for the Hall Co. WBL 5K. A great event at a very pretty location. Nice walking trails and places to play for kids. Nice boat launch spot too. The lake was very high due to recent rains, but overall still accessible and did not impact our event at all. Also convenient restrooms are always a plus!
Love this place lots of fun for the kids
Great place to be seen looking like youre actually working out, when actually I overheat just by simply walking.
Great place to picnic and enjoy Lake Lanier. Kids loved the splash pad!
1 mile trail, many covered picnic areas, kids play ground, tennis courts, dog park, and boat ramp! Lots of ways to enjoy the out doors.
Nice big space on the hill. Some shade trees. A big dog section and a small dog section. Water fountain for dogs turned on in spring summer fall. Bring your own water in winter.
Laurel Park is unique. Lots of trails that take you through dense wooded area, lakeside, playground, baseball court, recreation ground, beach, picnic areas and more. Its peaceful relaxing and pretty. If you happen to run into one of the parks employees you find them friendly and very helpful.
My grandkids fell in the lake but we all had fun. Need more regular swings or places for senior citizens to sit.
Great place for a graduation celebration cookout with friends and their families.Pavillion was nice, but the restroom needs a major upgrade.
I wish it had more shade. The water in the dog park is difficult to use but it works. Big area for big dogs to run
Great park with lots to do.
Great place to let the kids have fun or for family gatherings
Great place dog park for the dogs and its a good place to take a walk
The park has 2 tennis courts, 2 play areas, fenced areas where dogs be off leash, 1 mile of paved walking path, a splash area that opens for the summer, baseball and covered picnic pavilions. Its a nice place to visit.
My spot to read, walk the dog or even family time great park
Nice park. I didnt notice any concessions facilities and there werent a lot of restroom facilities. But it had nice fields, was clean and well cared for.
Best fishing on the lake last year caught a 14#lb bass.nice clean park with a doggy park also
Laurel park has many wonderful parts one can do - baseball section, fishing, tennis or badminton, a beach, walking lanes, even dog parks where dogs dont have to be on leashes, childrens play areas and water splash area (which my grandkids absolutely loves) there are boat ramps, plenty of areas to have picnics or even play tag ball and plenty of parking spaces. Also they have RV area to rent if you want to stay for a spell. oh they also have pavilions to rent for parties of all kind. Its a very awesome place to be lived here most my life and I at the very least stop by 6 to 10 times a year! As a kid it was every other day!
Beautiful park right on the lake. Paved one mile walking path
This park is great for families. Has a baby sized splash park that only costs $2. It has a 1 mile paved walking trail, sand volleyball courts, baseball fields, tennis courts, and access to the lake. Good spots to go fishing with kids. The park also has bathrooms, picnic areas and playgrounds.
Good please to whole.
Love this park!. Its very clean and has a nice walking trail near the lake with educational stops along the way for kids! There are nice pavilions and a spray ground, 2 playgrounds for kids as well as ball fields. It needs more bathrooms and grills.
The splash pad was great for the kids.
This park should have a better playground given thats is one of the bigger Hall Co playgrounds.
Great park. They have two playground sets and open fields. A little water park for kids during the summer. I honestly like the small dog park section better than the large dog section.
Amazing place
Great park, especially considering how old it is. Lots of things to do.
A really nice park with beautiful lake views. We enjoyed the little educational lakeside walk and there are plenty of good picnicking spots. There are several playground sets for children to enjoy though they are showing some signs of age.In Summer, young ones will really enjoy the Splashzone within the park. Check the website for the current hours. There is a $2 entry fee and plenty of seating around the edges for adults. The area is enclosed and the equipment is colorful and varied offering a nice mix of spraying styles. My little one (2 and a half) loved running through the spray and didnt want to leave.
Love it a great place for whole family during the summer especially. Dog park as well. Great for everyone.
Beautiful views. I got married there in 2003
The park is so relaxing and so much to do! Picnic, let the kids play, fish, walk your dog, grill out, play ball, shady areas with benches or full sun to enjoy.
It has everything I park needs, dog area playground ball field tennis courts Anna kids water park. It also has been walking and bike trails and the rest rooms are clean it really is a great Park especially if you have kids
A great family place.
I love coming here. The dog park is rarely crowded. When I come without the dogs the walking trail is perfect for running or just viewing. I think the weekends may get busy, but in general there are just enough people not to have to socialize but enough to say hi if you want to.
My dog and I always have so much fun! Whether there are a bunch of other dogs there with us, or if its just he and I, its a great time. The other dog owners have always been so sweet and friendly and welcoming to my pup and I. We go at least twice a week now!!
This is a great park to bring kids of all ages as well as your dog. Theres a large dog park near the front that has 2 sections one for large dogs, one for small dogs. Theres a watering fountain for the dogs inside the park, a water spout outside of it to refill water bottles to take on a hike as there is a trail behind the dog park, theres a restroom located across from the dog park. The park has pavillions, benches, trails, 2 play grounds, lake access, a splash pad, and plenty of nice grassy areas with shade for picnics.
Beautiful place to picnic or cool off in the splash area. Great dog park. Seperate areas for large and small dogs.
Nice park, big with good parking, some decent shade and trees in places. Shelter houses that appear as thou you can reserve, not sure the cost of process. Public bathrooms. Has a big dog park I will try out next time for my Lab.
Great place to walk the dog. They have a childrens water park.
Nice and clean it is fun and well mantand
Best public dog park by far! Everything else pales in comparison! Its safe, fully enclosed, with sanitary cleanup bags provided and a nice water supply for your dogs! Excellent! Only wish Birmingham had a place like this for my dogs !
Nice Little League ball park. Nice playground for younger children, nice walking trail.
Best boat ramp in town. Two playgrounds, and a spray ground that opens after Memorial Day. Walking trails and access to the lake. Great picnic areas, one pavilion and clean bathrooms. Wonderful park for day trips.
Very fun especially on the 4th of July you can watch into fireworks big playground for the kids or you can go swimming in the lake
Great park by the lake. The fields are nice, but the gnats were out of control! Made it hard to enjoy the game.
Very nice park! It has an off leash dog park thats separates larger dogs from smaller dogs! Its got several playgrounds, a ball park and a little kiddy water playground. And its got a lovely walking trail and lots of parking!
Great spray ground, picnic areas, pavilions, and play grounds. One mile walking trail that is paved. Boat launch area. Our grandkids love it.
One of the best boat ramps i have used.
The park is absolutely wonderful. We had a great Fourth of July. We will de go back for walks and picnics!

Good spot with some secluded areas. Very dog friendly. Also fun for children.
Always plenty for the family to do. Lots of space and pet friendly. We love this park
My dog had a blast playing with all the other dogs there
This is a beautiful park on Lake Lanier!
Very nice softball fields 4 of them, a fenced place to take dogs, numerous walking trails around the lake, a nice place to launch boats. Concession stands and restrooms at the softball fields, a pool to swim in and several places to cook out and pavilions to rent for anything.
