Any aficionado of obscure municipal monuments will love this gem in the center of Poultry Park.

The first time I went there was to take a picture for a History class. The monument is important for its historic background. It is located almost across from the IHOP on Jesse Jewell Pkwy, but it is on the same side of the street as IHOP. The monument is tall, so if you are driving or walking by, you can see it. It is part of Hall County and North GA culture. If you ever go to IHOP or to anywhere near the downtown square, take a moment to snap a shot.
