I love the white sand as well as the marked off area that designates the swimming area. Its a good spot to swim if you have children.

Nice place for a walk or to sit and eat a meal and watch the sunset.

Former 1996 Olympic Venue, I was not inside the building but the lake and grounds are nice. Launch kayak or boat fishing is ok.

Nice Park Old School type

This is a beautiful park in a great location! I would have given 5 stars aside from the fact that there was garbage thrown around everywhere in which my family and I were Good Samaritans and picked up a lot of it. Also Im not sure if the bathrooms were out of order or not but there was porta potties lined up which we all know are not fun to use on a hot day or at all!! There are several spots to have a picnic, cookout, a little Beach and swim area. There are also quite a few excellent picture taking spots. The park itself is beautiful it just has some patrons that have no respect for themselves, others or the environment unfortunately

It truly is a peaceful wonderful place. Not too crowded .The ducks swam right beside us. If you like nature youll like this place.be prepared for the flies at the picnic grounds .

Previous seasons there was nice white sand, they just added another type that is unpleasant and unlevel. It was one of my favorite beaches to go.

I was a rower for OCC, had national championships here so I have some sentimental experiences. Great area and lovely stadium.

Fishing was good and no one bothered us the whole night fishing.

Since the Olympic Rowing Events the park has truely suffered!! Gainesville should be ashamed they had pride for the city and the park during the Olympics they should have pride for it now!!This park is in worse shape than any other park in Hall County. Seriously, dont yall know picking up the trash and cutting grass is only a few parts of the solution~~ come on GAINESVILLE/HALL COUNTY either take pride In what we have or maybe build a homeless shelter, which is DESPERATELY NEEDED and I can promise you the men/women/children that need this facility will teach yall how to take pride in what they have!! Sorry Hall County, but shame on yall!!......

I spend a lot of my breaks here. I eat lunch here. I come to relax here. A beautiful location on a sunny day or cloudy. Close & convenient to my home & work. This park is a small piece of heaven, with a beach and access for rowing. I think anyone would enjoy a peaceful day here, in the water or just having a cookout on their built in charcoal grills, tables are already there. Right at the waters edge. If your looking for a place in Gainesville to just chill for a bit, this is it yall.

Great place to walk in the early morning hours

We enjoyed a day of collegiate crew racing. This park was constructed for the 1995 Olympic crew racing competitions.

My family has been going here for many years every summer my 3 kids and husband have been here just about every day of the summer swimming. I would have been there as well if not for my surgery on june 14th.

Nice boat ramp. Better now that some renovations have been done.

The ritious rowers, who think they own the lake, also think that they own the boat ramp.Hall county tax payers paid for the damn park and the boat ramp. It is public access. When the jackass rowing officials park their cars in front of the boat ramp to block the ramps just call the Hall County Sherrifs Dept and have the vehicles towed for being illegally parked or call the GA Dept of Natural Resourses and report them for obstructing a public access boat ramp.

I go to Clark Bridge Road park because its convenient but it suffers from neglect. I here there are plans to improve it. I hope these rumors are true.

Due to the ongoing Construction of the new bridge and more its a little hazardous, but it is still a great place to go swimming kayaking boating and of course just enjoy the great outdoors. For its location it is typically not very crowded and of course its on Lake Lanier

Not pleased at all. There was so much feces in the sand you could barely walk to the water. I have never in my life seen anything like that. It was so nasty we left.
