First time at this venue for a networking event...very lovely!!
It was a nice venue and the employee who helped with the party I attended was great but the room was so hot. Its summer and the heaters were on. We were told they didnt know how to turn it off. One of the guests burnt his hand and all the children were getting red. Luckily, a guest figured out how to turn it off and it started to cool down, but just a little. It was a nice venue and the service was fine but they need to take peoples health and safety into consideration.
My daughter enjoyed the Spring classes they hosted. As well as Frederick Childrens Chorus Camp in the summer. Great facilities for the Arts! Soo nice that they have AC. Is the parking in back for parents to use for drop off & pick up? Sometimes street parking space is difficult.
New Spire Arts had great plans to educate, involve, and thrill Frederick County inhabitants. The Studios in the old Board of Education building downtown teach students of all ages. The Stages in the old McCrory building are for small venues. Its nice to have an interior stage in which you can hear a live performance without amplification.Updated the end of February 2019: the Board fired almost all the office staff, is now posting for several new director positions on internet job boards, going dark for a season canceling shows and classes. Board appeared ungrateful for the hard work the office staff played in their success to date. What a shame. This concept was very community focused in the beginning. What happened? Too many chiefs and not enough Indians.
A wonderful new space adding to the arts in Frederick.
Great experience for young (13) person!
Run down building needs serious upgrades to make safety codes
Friendly staff, very patient, good parking situation in the back!
This is an amazing performing arts space! Definitely recommend it if youre a performer in or near Frederick, MD!
A large space dedicated to the arts and the liberal arts.
Great
