Yes. Cute. Soggy. Doggys. Literally have an aneurysm every single time I go, because they are so adorable. Do not go if cuteness is your weakness, you have a history of cardiac problems, or you talk to dogs like they understand philosophical paradoxes.
Great set up! Separate areas for large and small dogs are offered as is water fountain for pets and their pet parents. Little to no shade at this time can be bothersome on warm sunny days. Great place to let your pet run loose.
March 2020- We were looking for a place to eat our lunch while social distancing and found this place. No picnic tables or anything but we had a blanket and found just the perfect spot. Then we enjoyed walking around the grounds that are quite beautiful. We will definitely come back for sure since there is more wed like to do here!

Harlinsdale Farm is beautiful, and has a great country touch! This place would be great for any type of event. Just an awesome venue with great views.
This is an awesome resource for the community. Lots of options to enjoy this large space.
Do not go if you have a small dog! The small dog side is locked. The people do not watch their dogs, they hv zero regard for how they try to chase and attack small dogs. Beautiful park but unless the small side is opened do not take ur small dog. Miserable experience!
This is a beautiful underused green space with big open well manicured fields, a dog park, hiking, a beautiful small lakeGreat picnic area. Beautiful vistas!
The harlinsdale farm is a huge property in the North side of Franklin. Even with a catch and release fishing pond, canoeing, walking trails, large lawn, historical buildings and active horse arena, very few people visit here outside of events like the PILGRIMAGE festival concert series. There is limited parking but I have yet to visit where there were many cars anyway. This was a family farm until 2004 when it was bought by the city of Franklin. There is much to see and any photographer would love the many options for wedding, family and nature photography.
Very very clean, plenty of room, beautiful old buildings. Great place for a long run or walk.
Nice location to walk around, decent birding and photo ops
Cutest park I have ever seen. HUGE off leash dog area. Creek and Kayak spot on the opposite side of the park. If you havent had the chance to go here, Check it out!
Very cool place to visit, and for family pictures
There is a very nice trail inside the farm for the people who love to walk
Great place to walk. Beautiful property.
Beautiful open space to clear your head and exercise your dog.
This dog park is on a sloped part of the park so it drains better than most of the other local dog parks. They cycle through three dog park areas so that they can let the grass grow back and keep the park cleaner. There is water for dogs and shaded areas and benches for the human visitors. Great Franklin dog park!
Just beautiful if you keep following the path you can visit the Harpeth River
My favorite non-hiking park! So clean and gorgeous! Great event staff as well
Great place. Quiet, nice facilities and just a nice place to walk with your dogs. If you are going to the dog park mainly, search for that specifically in GMaps. Otherwise you will end up at the farm location which is a distance away from the dog park.
Beautiful passive park in Franklin. Purchased by the city of Franklin in the early 2000’s, the park was originally a Tennessee Walking Horse breeding farm. Home to the most famous Tennessee Walking Horse, Midnight Sun, the park now hosts the famous Pilgrimage Music Festival every September. Visitors can enjoy the original renovated horse barn, horse trails, dog park, walking trails, canoe launch along the Harpeth River, fishing in the small lake, picnics, arts and crafts fairs, and international polo matches.
It was a very tranquil and enjoyable.
Hosted the most friendly and organized music festival I have ever visited.
Kids love to fish here.
Nice and relaxing. A place you can easily distance.
Beautiful sunrise and great opportunities for photography. #the312johnsonfamily
This beautiful horse farm was donated to the town of Franklin, Tennessee for all to enjoy. Festival in the summer is held here among other festivities throughout the year. Free to all Visitors.
Stunning dog park with friendly 2&4 leg visitors
We were here for the Pilgrimage Festival. It was a beautiful venue for this event. There were great spaces for live music and entertainment. It was hot, but they had plenty of water stations and food and beverage stands located throughout the event. The porta-potties were well stocked and abundant througout as well.
Good way to get fresh air and social distance at the same time. Saw 2 meadowlarks, American kestral, vulture, red winged blackbirds and 2 ducks sitting in the trees.
Just loving the dog park!
Best burger Deacons New SouthBest side smoked gouda mac and cheeseBest BBQ Charcoal Cowboys BBQFun time good cause. Go by all the food was good.Pasta & Cream was there also, one of my most favorite spots. Excellent.
Great park and dog park! Only downside is that they close it off for about a month every year to host the Pilgrimage Festival. Shame.
Lots of open space and beautiful! They have a canoe entry point for the Harpeth River, there is a lake for fishing, dog park, and trails. People are often horseback riding on the equestrian trails, which really makes me want to go horse riding, too!
Here for the Pilgrimage Festival. What a great venue.
This park is so peaceful and beautiful. I love the history and location. Great for a walk, a jog, or to read and visit a wonderful place steeped with rich Tennessee Walking Horse history.
We attended The Pilgrimage event at the park and we were really surprised at how perfect the venue was even in a small town like Franklin. We were able to walk to the Factory and ride the busses to parking, so everything went smoothly.
Gorgeous setting for a Festival concert. If youre favorite band places this festival, its a no brainer. Make the Pilgrimage. Great place for a cross country run when its just plain Park at Harlinsdale Farm
Nice sunsets.
Very nice fishing pond for kids
Love bringing the dog and kids/family on community events. Beautiful spot to get outdoors and away from screentime.
Cool park with lots of opens space and plenty of room for your pups!
Just a great place to run around, explore and feel the vibe of the past.
We ran the Boots for Troops 5K such a great cross country run.
Went there for Pilgrimage Festival. It was beautiful until the rain came. Really lovely spot.
A dog on good time!!
My favorite spot for a walk, best place in the franklin area to relax, take your dog for a walk, and get coffee and tacos across the street at the Factory.
Simply beautiful
Lots of fun for families! Hope they have it rvery year!
Great music, food, and cars
Here for Pilgrimage Festival. I come every year. Love it.
Great place to spend time outdoors with the fam!
Great trails for running or walking. You can bring your horses here too, because certain trails are for riders. Also, we brought a large group for a picnic. It was a lot of fun, not too crowded and plenty of space for a quick soccer game and frisbee for those non-soccer players. Nice respite right in the middle of town.
Went for a memorial lovely park sad passion.
The pilgrimage was awesome! Beautiful venue with great atmosphere.
Wonderful place the take your dog. Loved how they had separate fenced areas for different sized dogs.
Beautiful park. Very friendly staff. Had fun at the pond.
Theres a dog park, canoe access for the Harpeth River, a pond for fishing, barns and old houses you can go up (cant go inside of), and a short hiking trail through the woods. Great spot for photos!
Beautiful landscape. Not too much to do though. Just snapped a quick photo and left.
Its my favorite Franklin destination. Safe, lots of room to walk. Beautiful! Historic!
Good for a casual walk on mostly grass mowed path. Very large dog park with parking next to the fenced in area.
Great dog park. Best by far. Cant go wrong taking your dog here. There is always dogs for your dog to play with
I visited for the 4th of July fireworks which were okay. The real fun was in the live music and food which was great!
Spacious and beautiful park thats used for all kinds of festivals throughout the year. Great place for a photo shoot. There are different kinds of fish in the pond for those who love to fish. There is also a pathway for people to take their canoes or kayaks to a launching spot on the Harpeth River.Last, but not least, the wonderful K-9 Korral Dog Park is located at the northern end of the property for those want to unleash their dogs for some exercise.
So peaceful. Such a great respite from a busy week. Nice place to walk or run. Feel safe and feels like being in the countryside
Always amazing. This is such a gem for Franklin and Williamson County.
My favorite place to take family pics. So beautiful.
Very fun
Great place. I loved it!
This park is gorgeous! Large open fields! A few historic buildings. Definitely would recommend. A little nature trail in the back of the property!Warning - there is no shade for hot sunny days. Will need to being a shade maker and wear loads of sunscreen when visiting this location.
We came for the weekend to attend Pilgrimage Fest, so my review is skewed for that reason. I thought the park was large and plenty of room to roam, but I would recommend pants and close-toe shoes due to the height of the cut grass still being fairly tall and rough in some areas. More of a pasture than a maintained or seeded grass. The barn and rodeo ring area are neat and more maintained, so I assume the rough grass is just in the less trekked areas. Otherwise, it was lovely, easy to access, and lots of fun!
One of if not the best place to relax and walk. If you are visiting check this park out especially if there is a show or Pilgrimage Festival going on. Nice big spacious park unlike downtown where you feel packed in. Cool spot.
This place has a lot of options. Need open green space? CHECK. Need a specialized dog play area? CHECK. Need a place to ride your horses? CHECK. Want to play in the Harpeth River or put in/out with your kayak? CHECK. Need cool looking old barns or amazing sunsets for great photo shoots? CHECK. Need an exhibition ring for horses? CHECK. The grounds are well maintained with a paved road entrance and parking lot.
Peaceful in the heart of it all.
Always love coming here, with or without the dog! Today was really quiet, only a couple of people with their dogs at the park, so we went out exploring! After all the rain, was great to get fresh air!
The Park is nice, but Pilgrimage -- the main reason to visit -- is an unmanageable mess. Neither the festival planners nor the City of Franklin nor the city and county authorities have the will or the ability to host something of its size. It was nice when it was small, but all involved have for two years now proven unprepared and overwhelmed, small-town wannabes in an arena that requires competence and talents far beyond theirs. AVOID PILGRIMAGE AT ALL COSTS.
We attended the Pilgrimage Music Festival. Harlinsdale Farm makes a nice venue but there isnt enough natural shade. Our friends said they waited over an hour at the water stations. If its hot and sunny out or theres an event, Id recommend coming prepared with a lot of your own water and sun gear, or skipping it.
Good outdoor fun for the family
This review is actually for the dog park at Harlinsdale Farms. The dog park is large and well-maintained, but with no signage anywhere for it, its incredibly difficult to locate. Theres also only a few places to sit in the dog park area, even less if you want to be out of the sun. I enjoyed the park overall, but unless you know where youre going and are prepared to stand in the sun the whole time youre there, I wouldnt recommend it.
I participated in the walk here for Boots for the Troops. It was a 5K walk for fallen soldiers.
This is a great park to walk around and explore. It was a working horse farm and this has many of the buildings you would find on one. One side of the park has a really nice dog park that is fenced in that my dog thoroughly enjoys. This park also hosts several large events throughout the year such as the Pilgrimage Music Festival.
Its a wonderful city park with a lots of history. Over 200 acres. Two dog parks, Polo stadium. Walking horse history. Across the street from the Factory. Home of the pilgrimage festival.
The dogs can play at the dog park here and toy can walk the farm and see the beauty of the countryside.
Beautiful trails and park
This is a very beautiful place
Very pretty park with around 3.5 miles of trails/paths and a few ponds. River nearby.
Raise the roof. Always fun.
Lots of fun activities
Really great dog park! Nice place for a picnic or hiking, also has horse trails. We come here for family photos every year.
Greatest around. BYOWater, temporarily limited flow!
Extraordinarily well maintained. Never over-crowded, except the dog park occasionally (not necessarily a bad thing). Great walking trails, some that go alongside a nice pond.
