Great place for hiking. Seems pretty safe but keep your dog on a leash because there are some items on the ground that a dog should not be eating like dead animal carcasses.
This is a lovely park with nice hiking trails. Theres an ADA accessible trail near the visitors center and a variety of other trails (with varying lengths and some elevation changes). The swing is a peaceful place to rest. The visitors center is nice with clean restrooms and a water station.
Very nice small park, with plenty of loop trails. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they even had biscuits for our pup.
You can get a good cardio hike in, some serious hills...good facilities.
Nice park with plenty of semi challenging trails. And bonus plenty of trees and nature to offer shade and peacefulness.
Decent elevation change on the main trail. Going on an off day lead to lot of cob webs.
Great hiking, but make sure to bring bug spray!! Very shaded with dense trees.
Great place to get away and hike in our own town.
Went for a Sunday drive and stopped by for a pit stop. The facility is beautiful and inviting with ADA access. There are short ADA trails and longer circuits for a more challenging hike through the woods. There are even walking sticks to borrow if you need one. Definately worth the stop. Nice and peaceful park with picnic area.
Cant say enough about this park. So beautiful in all that it offers. Great hiking trails and awesome people running the main office. Looking for a place to get away from it all and get back with nature this is a go to spot.
No dogs allowed on the trails. But great trails, clearly marked. Some abandoned buildings along the way to explore the facilities are clean and beautiful as well.
Very good hike with a nice elevation!
Quiet, wooded park. Very pleasant rangers in the office to talk with about the history of the area. Closes at 4:00 in the fall/winter months.
Stopped here on my way to Knoxville. Did a quick 3 mile hike with my dog. Gorgeous. Easy to flow trails. Very helpful in the visitor center.
Hidden gem! Great trails, fantastic visitor center with very attentive staff. Mrs Karen was very helpful and kind.
Well marked and maintained trails.
Beautiful spot close to West Franklin. Feels VERY secluded. Nice people in the center building.
Beautiful. The trails were great.
So peaceful and beautiful
A gem off the Natchez Trace. Well marked trails too. The best part... the staff. They were friendly & well informed. We will be back.
My brother and I went from being in our 60s to being kids again. A beautiful area to see. Nature carved some beautiful art into the rocks here

Beautiful, well kept park. Will definitely return
If your looking for a quiet place to take a hike just outside of Franklin Tennessee then this is the place. With well marked trails and a friendly staff to help make your visit enjoyable. Clean facilities to boot. We will Definitely be back.
Beautiful... I hike there often.
Beautiful park, we always enjoy our time here. Staff in the office are all very friendly and helpful.
Good place for a nice hike.
This is a very nice park. The trails are well marked. You go down quite a bit so be ready to make the hike back up.
Great trail..
Gorgeous and quiet!
This place was nice. Very clean and pretty scenery.
Great venue for a shorter hike — well groomed trails. Clean bathrooms in the Visitors Center — helpful hosts/guides. Easy to find nine miles from Historic Downtown Franklin. Several trees are marked with descriptions and common names. The three to four different trails have route markers or blazes to keep you on track.Bonus — ADA friendly trail adjacent to picnic area.
Beautiful park along the Nachez Trace in Williamson County. They have several trails for hiking and they are well marked.
A great place to hike or just sit by the fire. Three miles of trail on the park proper with almost three more that run on to an adjacent property owners land. The staff is amazing! They also offer monthly programs that are mostly free to the public, so thats a great service that they offer as well. This is truly a hidden gem of a park right near Franklin.
Beautiful park. Great hiking trails. Friendly, helpful staff.
Enjoyed our visit alot - loved the squirrels!! My husband and I had very nice chat with the park keepers - they were very friendly Restrooms were very clean also!
Clearly marked trails, clean bathroom facilities, trail maps available, even a doggie drinking area.
Well marked trails, peaceful and mildly challenging.
A really good place to hike! Clearly marked trails and lots of interesting historic details. I will definitely come back.
Beautiful when the leaves are changing.
A beautiful, clean, and friendly spot to hike on the Natchez Trace. The welcome center is staffed, has some historical artifacts, nature identification books, a fireplace, hiking sticks you can borrow, and clean restrooms. The trails are well marked and there are a variety of lengths and skill levels. Young children can easily hike here, but the trails with the hills make it more challenging for the adults.
Good trails. Helpful people that give you info on all the trails.
Park closes at 6 pm. Rangers are very helpful. There is water in ranger station. The trail is somewhat steep at points but its not terrible. Overall a fun hike.
Great trails! Looks like a forest.
Love hiking here with the kids
Beautiful trails
Nice park and the staffs are very nice... love to go there again... I also uploaded a Trail map of this park...The Trails are marked well that you wont get lost. Its located on the way of Natchez Trace Parkway... so.. a nice stop on the way to Natchez Trace...
This park is BEAUTIFUL! definitely worth visiting
Absolutely beautiful!
Lots of trails to explore. I wish I had come prepared with the proper shoes. As it was, I did a short loop trail and found a wooden bench swing at the end of the trail. Pure joy!
Fun trails. Good quiet place to explore.
Nice trails.
Enjoy nature, hiking and horseback riding.
Gorgeous park, fairly close to Nashville, with several short, but steep trails. Definitely a fun half day hike series!
Great visitor center with over 3 mi of trails and lots of parking to bike the Natchez Trace. Open 9 to 6
Its a nice park to stop by while on the Natchez Trace Parkway. Surprisingly small (round trip trails that add up to a little less than a mile total), but the foliage is very beautiful in the fall. The visitor center is really nice too along with the people who work there. Three stars because I wouldnt go out of my way to visit it, but if you are in the area, I would recommend a stop.
Great bathroom stop on the Trace.
Great little hidden park. Not many people know this exist, but it really is a good quiet area.
Great place to hike. Was beautiful.
Lovely place!
Great little hidden Park off the Trace. Nice trails and good elevations.
Great hike! You can take a short hime or the long route by the pond. If you take this route, be ready for some steep inclines on the way back. Good excercise and nice scenic views

Beautiful 74acre park accessed from Natchez Trace Parkway. It is owned by Williamson County Parks.
Beautiful park, great for picnics!
Great place for a hike and a picnic just a couple miles away from Franklin.
Nice stroll around the park with nuts falling from 80Ft. Bring a helmet for some parts.
The park is well maintained and has ample parking. Four spots for RVs. The rest is car parking. Great getaway from Radnor and Warner Parks with their overcrowding.
Very nice facility that has restrooms and rocking chairs.
Beautiful fall colors on trek in woods..
Very nice facilities. Beautiful scenery.
Several great trails with a good variety of effort required.
