Great place to hike and bike. Many different skill level trails to choose from. Very scenic any time of the year. There is a disc golf course also.

This is a neat spot for families and a good spot for local bike trails. There are a few trails that run through some thin forest. The trails are decent, a couple trails are tricky because the maneuvers are fast. Being at the top of the dam structure is a good view and nice place to picnic. Overall a decent place to relax.

Such a great experience mountain biking with my husband and boys! Even... after falling and bruising my ribs! Peaceful, relaxing (despite the hills) and grounding. For those of us who hold a lot of stres... DO IT! Sense of release and accomplishment, NEVER A BAD THING!

What fun! Very well maintained and easy walking! Look forward to going back before the snow falls! But will make great snowshoe trail!

Place is amazing! Great trails, lovely scenery. The park rangers were so amazing they let us do a car photo shoot last minute with smoke bombs. It was awesome!

This is an awesome place for mountain biking. The trails are fun, well taken care of and are well labelled. Its easy to find your way around with the map.

Although the trails ended up being above our families abilities, there were alot of well marked trails, soil was sandy or rooty, nice views from the dam, all in all we had a nice time.

I absolutely love the Franklin Dam. It has trails, and the most beautiful view.

This is an extensive mountain bike train trail collection. Reasons are varied and interesting. The gate closes at 3:30 PM, which is a bummer.

Great flowy and technical trails for mountain biking. Highly recommend for any skill level.

Its a great paved trail to and across the dam. Dont be fooled by its easy access from Franklin. You can enjoy the full range of seasons there and Ive seen bear, deer, moose and a variety of critters there. Take a camera or some binoculars or just keep your eyes peeled and youll be a fan, too.

Great place to fish... caught 9 fish today just useing a 1 inch hook and worm on 8lb test line.

This is a beautiful place, and awesome for walking, running or biking. I just took a quick walk but I saw several other people enjoying those other activities. There were several places to picnic. It was very tranquil while I was visiting.

I love this location, I look forward to riding there again!

Very family friendly and expansive enough that each visit can provide a totally different experience. Truly a hidden gem that many Lakes Region locals dont know about. Great place for beginner snowmobiling and mountain biking. Dont forget to check out the disc golf course, the childrens storywalk, and the butterfly garden!

There are plenty of trails here from up to a mile to multiple miles of loops, They seem well maintained, there is parking and bathrooms on the premise as well which is great.

We love taking our dogs for a walk here. Its a really cool view walking to the dam. Also, theres a ton of mountain biking trails and side trails. Its a great place to go for an easy walk or bike or to spend hours trekking the many other trails.

Very clean area, easy access. Multiple trails to walk or ride your bike on, and even some disc golf. Small playground for the kids and bathrooms available. Nice place to get out for a walk and enjoy the weather!

Course is too spread out. Hole 9-13 is overrun by mosquitoes, at least when I was there.Holes 1-8 and 14-18 were fun and challenging.

Great flowy mtb trails. Not too technical, but fun!

Great buff, twisty singletrack with about 8 miles beginner and intermediate trails. So the trails are well marked with maps so its nearly impossible to get lost. Takes about an hour to do almost everything at a reasonable pace. Only downside is that it gets pretty crowded.

These trails are very cool. Not particularly well know but they stretch several miles with varying levels of difficulty. Just dont go when the water is high, cause your trail might be under water!

One of the best things about Franklin is its park and recs.

This is a great public recreation area with lots to do. There is a long paved road down to the dam and picnic areas, or you can park in the main lot and enjoy the web of wooded trails. There is also an awesome 18 hole disc golf course free to the public. I also see mountain bikes frequenting the paths

My friend and I took her dog to walk the trails. They provide maps at the entrance which is helpful, because I had no idea there were so many trails. Unfortunately, the map is missing a scale and the intersections are a bit tricky to cypher. We went down the Whaleback trail by accident while trying to follow Coleman Rd. The rest of the trails had decent markings but Whaleback and Coleman had a bunch of random trails intersecting. There was also tree logging along that trial, which may be the reason we got confused.

Nice views and great nature. Also great biking for all levels.

Great singletrack with a bit less roots than many other trails. Sniper, whaleback, stump, chicken ravine and rusty bucket are my favorites here. These trails have little elevation changes but are loaded with fast flowy singletrack that any biker can enjoy from beginner to advanced rider. Definitely worth checking out!

Nice place for a winter walk with the dog. Everyone respectful and friendly.

This is an excellent location for mountain bikers of all levels. There are trails for little uns (Ive seen kids as young as five riding the single-track) all the way through to experienced riders (check out mighty chicken). The volunteer-led trail management team is on point and the trails are always in good condition. Check out the central New Hampshire NEMBA website for a trail map and more information.
