We love this park. Its always clean, the equipment is well maintained, and its designed to be all inclusive so my child can meet and play with kids of all ages and abilities. There are plenty of benches and picnic tables, really nice shaded areas at different times of day, and the Greenway Trail runs along it so theres a place to ride bikes or walk. We always choose this park first, but its very popular so we try to come at odd times so its less crowded.

We love this park. The playground is updated. We love the walking trails. There is also a disc golf course. The restrooms are always clean.

Great place to pull over and take a walk, hike, let the pets and children play. Some parts of the asphalt trail were flooded out but easy enough to walk around them. Plenty of wildlife since this is a wetlands preserve. Nice size playground and also dirt trails to hike.

This is a very nice and clean park. Lots of fun things for kids and adults to play with and on. My kids really enjoyed it here.

I reserved the enclosed foyer area and had a pizza party. Was very nice and there are trails to walk or bike. Also the bathrooms were clean

Beautiful park on the outskirts of Franklin. Walking trail is perfect for children, dogs, ..anyone! Play area looks great for children too. Not sure how far the trail went but would like to check it out the next time Im in Franklin! Wish Columbus had something this nice.

It was my first time here. It is beautiful and lots of Pokemon stops and gyms !!!

A terrific park, well kept with excellent disc golf

The new addition includes great new ways for our children to expand their motor skills. There are so many new, and creative parts to the playground that i wish we could have had as kids. I granted four stars, because the back playground, down the trail seems to get flooded alot. It also has degraded, and doesnt seem as interesting as the new part up front.A side note for us adults:There is a new work out section for us active adults. Complete with easy instructions on how to use the equipment.

I loved how they have renewed Blue Heron Park. The new play ground is great for children. My children have a blast there. It is easy to see from U.S. 31 and the walking trails are excellent. There is even a small outdoor workout area next to former park that still stands for children to enjoy next to the basketball court.

Great little park. Kids love it for the equipment and the trails. Great for kids with disabilities as well.Only “issue” would be no shade, but it’s a park so some do and some don’t.Great little park. Bring bikes, scooters or blades for the long trails!

Great Park. Includes long and wide paved Trail, Frisbee golf gourse, several picnic tables and a great playground for kids. The playground has swings several different kinds of slides, noisemakers, and all sorts of newfangled stuff. Most of its plastic so no hot metal to burn skin. And the playground surface is padded.

It was awesome the disc golf course is the best around come out and enjoy it every one

Nice park kids loved it

Great play ground for the kids. I have twin boys who are 11 months old and they loved the double baby swing! There was plenty of equipment for my two year old to run and play on, he loved the slide. We only walked to next playground down the trail, but look forward to going back and exploring more.

I like it. A variety of things to play on, cushiony surface, and nice people.

If you are an outdoorsy person & like to ride bicycles w/ little car traffic, this is the place to go. The park is nicely kept and the nature trails (3.7 miles one way) leads into a Cemetery that allows bicycles to traverse up & down the cemetery grid roads; excellent way to exercise via bike without worrying about busy car traffic interfering with your cardio workout...you peddle at your leisure!

Went for the trail. Pretty nice with a canopy made of overgrowth. The trail could use better signage. Part of it goes around a cemetery.

Handicap accessible. Great for kids of all ages. 1 year old to 16 years old (havent seen any older than 16). Lots of play area. Gorgeous tree under walk. Nice trails.

The newer playground near the entrance is amazing. It has things for children of all ages, including the baby swing where the adult swings with the child. My 16 month old loved it.

Dual swings for adult and toddler or even two adults. Large swings with safety bar for ages 5-12. Soft base for those unexpected falls. The children had a wonderful time.

This park is one of the better parks in frankland especially for kids nice playground equipment and walking trail. It also has a frisbee golf course on it but I dont think thats much of a thing anymore. I dont know I might be wrong but never seen anyone playing that when Im there.

Perfect location for any family activities. A couple of playgrounds and shelters with a nice walking path. On top of a disc golf course And nice access to the creek for fishing!

This is a fantastic park for a small town. It is a very long park, and includes many features. It doubles as a childrens playground, and a Nature preserve. They have captured both ideas quite well. The park also features a terrific 18 hole Disc Golf course, that has many nice holes to offer all skill levels, and play is free. This park has a walking/jogging path that covers most of the park, and is adequate to tire even the most experienced runners with its length. Bicycling, rollerblading, etc. Is also welcome. There are multiple wooded areas, multiple ponds, which includes one in the rear Nature Preserve area. There is a workout station in the rear for business and organizations. The park does have a bathroom available as well. The only negative I can think of is the lack of parking I think. But I believe I would be willing to walk very far to have usage of this excellent public park

Loved the new playground equipment. Enough stuff to keep kids off all ages busy with some new interesting equipment, like spinning chairs, a merry go round, tandem swings, and even porch swings for the adults. Well definitely be going back

This is a very nice park that has something for everyone. The only dislike I have is the parking lot. It is a little small and the lanes to enter and exit are a little confusing.

Special needs playground would be better with fence, but my kids love it here.

Love the new park....but I will not take my nephews or nieces here for the playground has absolutely no shade what so ever so the metal gets super hot and so does the rubber turf that the kids play on and it just radiates heat.....love the playground idea but you guys should have thought of shade as well

Great park with all new playgrounds for the kids and hiking trails for everyone. 3 Pokemon go gyms and a dozen pokestops make it worthwhile to walk the entire park.

Absolutely gorgeous park! Lots of room for kids to run around, different types of playground equipment for kids to play on. Clean park, nice hiking/bike trails.

Thanks to the parks department this is a great place to take your kids. Bring water to make sure you stay hydrated and let your kids play and play for hours. This park is near a walking trail and pavilion that allows cooking and also has restrooms available.

It is a nice new park with things other parks in Franklin dont have.Be careful on the slide made of rollers, they go very fast and you stop very quickly.

This park features some great views and fun for anyone who likes to spend time outdoors. The park also features a great deal of trails and a disc golf course; as well as many other recreational activities. I recommend giving it a shot if you are into that sort of thing.
