It is a nice park. I was looking for an actual view of the Capitol but there were some construction barriers up on some of the parking areas, so Im not even sure if a view exists, but a walk found me a spot on the river and if youre into mountain biking it looks like there are some decent trails here.

Fantastic place to mountain bike. Great singletrack, well ridden trails, skills area, jumps area, lots of features on the trails... Was a great time.

Such a beautiful place, my 11 year old daughter easily was able to walk the 9 something miles. We saw about 5 deer, even 2 baby ones. its a great place to get a nice walk in

Well maintained park with gorgeous views. Great place to go walking, go on a picnic, or practice on the fields.

I had a wonderful time. No one was there so my family was able to swim and play freely.

Trails are closest to me very nice to get a ride in after work . All skill levels can ride hear also

Great MTB trails. Very well maintained by kmba. Rode Saturday afternoon and only saw a handful of people.

This is a great mountain bike trail system maintained by awesome volunteers. You can go ride for 5 minutes at the pump track or 5 hours all over park. There is something for pretty much every skill level. Highly recommend.

Love running at Capitol View Park. Trails are in excellent condition, very well maintained.

Capitol View Park has great mountain biking trails. They have some good obstacles in certain places also. There are several miles of trials so you will not get bored quickly. If you keep looking, you’ll probably find some kind of hidden away. So just keep looking and riding. It’s a good time. It’s well worth the trip from Lexington to get there. I’ve enjoyed it every time I’ve gone. I’ve meet nice people who were also mountain biking.

Definitely love this park different areas for ball games and also has a park itself and a trail to where you can walk down to the river love going to this park

Compact 9 miles of variable trails suitable for any skill level. Expert riders may be bored but overall satisfying mix.

Was a nice park. Kids had a soccer game on the fields and they were well kept and the bleachers were nice.

Our favorite park to mountain bike! Its close to home and easy enough for beginners but challenging enough for more experienced riders. The trails are beautiful and very well-maintained. This was the first trail we ever rode on as a family and its still our favorite.

A hidden gem in Frankfort. There isnt a swing set but its a beautiful walking/biking trail right along the Kentucky River. There are great views the entire length of the park. I highly recommend checking it out.

Nice destination for ultimate frisbee or soccer games. Fields are well-maintained. Parking is ample. And generally less than 10 minutes off the expressway.

We were there for a youth football game. It is really beautiful. But it smelled like sewage.

The mountain bike trail layout is challenging to follow. Lots of crisscrossing trails with no arrows. I would not recommend riding this trail without a Local to show you around. Even a GPS map did not help.

This park has athletic fields for baseball, soccer and football. It also has one of the best biking trails in Central Kentucky. Nice views of the Kentucky River and the State Capitol.
