We went to see the sunflower field and were not disappointed. Its beautiful! Having never been there before we were pleasantly surprised with the property. We walked around the barns and were greeted by some sweet animals. Its a great place to spend 1-2 hours just enjoying the day. And fun for kids, too!

I think I went here once in elementary for a field trip, but hadnt been back since. Always drive by it, and wanted to go again, but didnt know if it was open to just anyone. Then finally decided just to go in and check it out- Love it! It is open to the public and has all sorts of farm animals and interesting plants and walking trails. They had a band playing a concert there on Sunday. Great fun for everyone!

Love coming here for an early evening walk. Be careful though, we walked to the covered bridge and instead was greeted by a coyote. In the city but such a quiet walk. Love to visit with the farm animals. The goats are my favorite !

My husband and I just moved here from out of state and this truly is a gem one of the best parks that I have seen in a long time and well-kept. It has events and the animals are enjoyment well-kept they have a sunflower field which is a beautiful where the whole community comes and takes pictures it is truly a vision here in Fort Wayne Indiana and thank you for allowing us to be a part of it.

This was such a lovely venue! I have to say that I was a bit apprehensive when I heard the wedding I was planning to attend here would be in an old barn on a 90° day, but it was so open and airy (four giant slide open doorways with big fans) that the breeze made it quite comfortable, considering the heat. It was beautiful all the way around and I loved seeing the goats nearby. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a venue with a perfect country charm and lots of history behind it. You certainly won’t be disappointed!

I always enjoy spending time here in The Fall and Winter. Teaching of farm life is very interesting as to bailing hay, grinding corn, and able to drive a real John Deere Tractor, to hay/straw ride, is a great time. And no cost unless you are buying food. Then end your day with a little petting zoo. Had a blast! Big open areas all around here with historic farm as the centerpiece. Summer camps offered as well as an all-organic farmers market during the week. Wonderful plac

Had a wedding we went to here the weekend of Memorial Day. The venue was beautiful and the scenery was a great backdrop to the whole event. The weather was very hot (hottest Memorial Day weekend for over 30 years). Wish their was at least fans in the building to help battle the heat that we were all feeling. I also wish they had been a little more diligent about getting rid of the poison oak that grew in several places around the event barn.

The Pufferbelly Trail is adjacent to the farm for which you can ride your bike to the cite. Wonderful addition to Fort Wayne of rural country life! Enjoy!

Beautiful peaceful park on an active farm. Trail will eventually connect to River Greenway. The beauty of this place is marred by crop spraying with Roundup (just yards away from a YMCA & childrens playground -Roundup/glyphosate is carcinogenic according to World Health Org) & by noisy parties & receptions held at the picturesque barn. They often can be heard over a mile away. There is also a farmers market held once a week during season, with some organics from regional/local growers.

I have a huge bruise on my leg...one on my foot and 2 on my arm. Almost a week later and still hurts. Also a couple I was with he went on the ride with hus daughter and the cart tipped over and they got dragged and he messed up his knee and the daughter was terrified..... Atleast a few of the kids had a good time i know i sure didnt

Im reviewing Salomon farm park as a guest at a wedding reception. Everything is great here and I was really enjoying myself until I noticed that a police officer spent the entire evening giving the entire party the perp stare down. The entire evening spent being stared down by a police officer with scowl, arms crossed, and carrying himself like there was a fight about to break out.Ive been to many weddings some that served, over served, and had no alcohol served at all and this was always well under control and folks were definitely not over drinking. Yet the entire time it felt like we all doing something wrong with the perpetual perp stare from the corner of the room.I attempted to talk with the officer as I understand Sunday evening chaperoning a bunch of adults isnt a great evening for him . However all of my attempts to talk with the officer were met with cold rebukes. Its like having a beer is a felony criminal offense in Indiana(and yes I only had a beer(1) in the barn and did not attempt to leave)I would humbly suggest to the Salomon farms management that they either talk to the officer about his interpersonal skills, or find a more discreet area for him to spend the entire evening perp staring everyone down. If this is not possible make the venue a dry one. I would have quite honestly enjoyed my evening much more had I had a coke or ice tea in my hand with no sour police presence. If youre planning to have your reception here bear in mind of the off putting police presence that will be at your reception.
