This place is truly one of my favorite places on this earth. This is one of the few happy places I have. I feel at peace when I am here. I actually do enjoy going to church and of course I have gone to other Catholic Churches but I love the cathedral. I don’t know how to explain it; I feel very calm and at home when I go here especially at confession. Not to mention the cathedral is absolutely breathtaking.

I grew up in this parish, attended the grade school it offered back in the day and always enjoy returning here to worship whenever Im in town. The lifelong beauty and atmosphere of this church is unmatched anywhere in Indiana.

Beautiful Church, can be difficult to understand whats being said, depending on the priest, but thats also partly an audio issue, I think. They so tend to hand out copies of the homily, which is great, so you can read along, which I rarely see done at any other Church.The only issue Ive ever had with going here is that the congregation doesnt seem very excited to be there, regardless of which Mass Im there for. Usually I dont need to read along as we recite the Nicene Creed or anything else, because the while congregation carries each other well, and enthusiastically. But here, everyone is quiet and seems to not be very on fire in their faith.Just doesnt make sense to me. Says something about the level of engagement between the priests, other staff, and parishioners. I will go here if I miss my regular Mass at my parish, but I wouldnt make this my regular parish.

I can say nothing about the people who attend this church as I have not met them, however, Miss Kim Martinez and Mr. Michael Duloc are both liars quite judge mental and very rude. Avoid them at all costs.

Beautiful church with Gorgeous stained glass windows.

The Cathedeal of the Immaculate Conception in Fort Wayne IN is a hidden gem within the city. From the architect on the outside, immaculate campus to its intricate beauty of the magnificent stain glass windows where they mix both past and present in the windows! When I have the opportunity to attend the weekend mass Im never disappointed! The choirs are top notch! Speaking of choirs, this place packs the house with its community wide Good Friday Mass where all Faiths takes time out from work to commemorate the Passion of Christ and then celebrate with a simple soup lunch at the nearby St. Marys Soup kitchen. I am never disappointed with this place, I feel at peace within its walls!

One of the most beautiful Catholic churches in the city. Recently had the outside grounds lawn replaced. Also added new landscape. Both inside and outside are beautiful.

Wonderful church! A bit smaller than I remember it when I was a boy, but still very beautiful.

I love it. It is indeed the one true faith. But half the parishioners walked out right after recieving communion. Very disturbing, especially because it is a sin.

We first visited the attached chapel where daily services take place. It was fairly good sized. I am used to chapels being on the small side. From there we went outdoors and entered the Cathedral through the main doors although it looks like the two buildings share a walkway.Very informative. Next to the Cathedral is a museum housing vestments from past Priest, their rings, various relics, history of the church and an interesting display on the evolution of habits for nuns

The Cathedral is lovely! Calm and serene inside and out. The meticulous details and intricate art are beautifully preserved for all to enjoy.Most of all, the Service for my friend and her family was presented with sincere reverence and respect for everyone there. I felt truly welcomed into the Glory of Jesus and His Promise of everlasting life!

Their Christmas Mass at night (10 PM) was nice, but Im really disturbed that no churches in the Fort Wayne area have a Midnight Christmas Mass any longer. Throwing out long time traditions does nothing to help rekindle dwindling attendance.

Lovely place. The priest did a very nice job. The organ was a bit too loud, and it had the very impersonal feeling that cathedrals often do. But a lovely place. My kids enjoyed it.

There is a self guided tour brochure available, Beautiful Architecture, organ pipe music was playing, stained glass windows (try to go in daylight, dark out you cant appreciate them much), elaborate wood carvings, very ornate interior i can only imagine it would enhance the atmoshpere during a mass

Mother Theodore Guerin Chapel at the Cathedral is a beautiful peaceful place for prayer and daily Mass. I highly recommend this chapel.

I enjoyed the Stations of the Cross reflection! It was most humbling! Assuring the job we face in this life and add Credence of what we are to do in this life! Having the mind of Christ is crucial!!!

Easily one of the most beautiful churches in northern Indiana. If visiting only to view, make sure theres not a service going on, and use the printed guide for a tour that points out significant details. Two individual bathrooms. Handicapped accesible. Parking lots and free street parking on Sundays.
