Id really love to give this place 5 stars, but it have to be open for me to do that. Not only because Co-Vid, taking into account the Park wasnt open alot pre Co-vid. So I shed two stars; one for lack of effort on providing information regarding operating hours, and two in regards to not having experienced the park up & running. Its a beautiful park with great art. Its much to be appreciated.
Great park with entertainment for all; however, would not accept $2 bills for some reason. So strange to be denied a ticket when paying with valid US currency. Would accept $5s and $10s with no problem.
Its fun and there rides and cheap $1 per person and the train restaurant is good too I went there with my three kids and had 20 dollars to spend on food and the guy there split two orders of burgers that had everything on them with fries and a pop with free refillsand the guy had the cook split it up in the kitchen and it was really good
My kids love the Ferris wheel and carousel. Bring back 1st Tuesday! The Ferris wheel is not old and rickety. It is a piece of history and is a thrilling ride compared to newer smoother Ferris wheels.
Park over run with homeless people. Splash pad was nice until homeless came to bathe in it.
I love taking my kids here we all enjoy it so much
Beautiful trails aling the river.
This is a great place to visit if you have young kids (or even if you dont) and want to have a good time without spending a ton of money. The Ferris Wheel is open to all ages, and its a fun activity for both kids and adults.
The park is a very small area with a merry go round, a ferris wheel, and a restaurant. There is also a newly built splash pad right behind it that is fun for all ages. There is relatively few people that go there so if you want to keep going over and over on the rides you can. The restaurant by it is also good too. The rides I believe are only 25¢ but I could be wrong. It would make a great little hang out or romantic spot .
The farriswheel was fun to ride but is only operational on Friday and Saturday until mid October. The diner is closed indefinitely.
Had my daughters bday at splash pad. Nice table with shade and plenty of room. The carousel and Ferris wheel were closed. But weve rode both before
July 20, NOTHING WORKS!! They advertise they’re open (we checked the website)and we drove from Little Rock so our grandson that loves Ferris wheels could ride the one they advertise. The ONLY thing open are operating is a carousel! DONT WASTE YIYR TIME!
Great place to have a bite to eat and enjoy the sights and sounds of down town. Lovely little park with a Farris Wheel!
This is a wonderful place to visit in Ft. Smith. A lot of history!! A great family outing
Its just holding on, hope it makes it. Unique, odd little business. The farriswheel is the big draw, a train dinning car serves fast food. The dinner is hit or miss. Has had many different owners or operators over the years. One owner tried to get the city to bail him out. Never looks open probably why it lacks foot traffic.
Great place to being the kiddos to run off steam and stay cool in the summer. The littles love it.
I loved it, its the simple old school ferris wheel ride!
Its a nice and quick venue to take your preschool and elementary aged kids to. Its hard to beat a ferris wheel ride downtown in the spring!
In my opinion, Park at Westend is one of the best attractions in Fort Smith. It seems to wrap everything up together. From the top of the Famous Faris Wheel to the banks of the Arkansas river- a have to go kinda place.
Great place to hang and have fun
Beautiful area and right next to the Bi-weekly Farmers Market. Theres a Burger place & a Ferris Wheel. Theres an amphitheater for concerts & a fantastic skate park. All around good place for families to go. Right across from Ross Pendergast Military Park. A historical site with Frisco Old Train Station, Judge Parkers Courthouse, Gallows, and Parade Grounds. Also there are Trolly Rides for a small fee of $4.00 Adults & $ 2.00 for children.
Love this place cheap nd kids always enjoy it. Has the splash pad as well right behund it!
Farmers market is great. Lots of parking. Great produce, jellies, plants.
We loved the firework show and the ferris wheel. It was awesome alot of walking cuz the fort smith was closed due to the water but it was still great.
Old and creaky, needs updated, had a birthday party there no fans nothing really
Restaurant not currently in operation. Enjoyed the ferris wheel and carrosel
Very nice place to cool off in the summer heat.
A fun place with alot to do. They have a spash pad, faris wheel, marry go round, and cant forget the food at the boomerang diner.
Love the feris wheel and splash pad great place to take the kids
Neat little park that has a water feature children can play in during the summer with a ferris wheel, a dining train car, and a carousel. Its a nice place for small children to have fun.
Fun place to take kids
Good place to take the family.
1 dollar rides.... perfect for a kids adventure In Fort Smith.
Awesome place. Great to have this in Downtown Fort Smith. Thanks, Phil!
Great place to take your kids! People are extremely friendly and helpful. We went on the weekend and they had a farmers market.
Absolutely loved the place for family quality time.
Next to alot of historic attractions.
Neat area. Connects to two other parks within afew blocks!
The lights at night are pretty cool and colorful
My grandson loves to play here.
Great little attraction but their hours are very confusing and a bit inconvenient. .. Neat splash pad a few feet away and then of course the beautiful AND historic Ferris wheel and carousel. Great little diner built in a railcar . arcade. Rides are only $1.WONDERFUL place for a casual first date or a cheap date night. have a nice dinner in a genuine railway car, ride the visually stunning historic rides, and then go for a romantic stroll down by the river at the amphitheatre just 50 yards away or sit next to/play in the splash pad and enjoy the artistic lighting built in.... It all has a very playful yet romantic feel to it at night. They also have very very reasonable rates for private parties .I have also brought my small dog here many times. The guys running the rides even held her so my husband and I could ride the Ferris wheel. Great employees . great little place.
So nice and secluded. Could be very romantic if you let it.
Fun place good food
Cool but it wasn’t open. I will try to visit when it’s open
Great water park. Food and drink services very close by. Cheap Farris Wheel across the street. A little crowded but overall great.
For $1 per ride on each I have no complaints. It would be a nice stop for little ones when passing through to get out and stretch too. They are only open Friday from 4pm on and Saturday though! I enjoyed stopping in and seeing the little area while we were in Fort Smith :D!
This Park has a great vibe about it.
Just one dollar to ride the faris wheel!
This park is cool for kids and adults, and It has a burger joint as well! However if you decide to eat there be prepared for a salt overload.
A joke. Brochures are false advertising. 1 ferris wheel, restaurant closed, no games. Run down. Travel time-wasted.
Great to bring the kids or maybe a date. Not very expensive at all and its fun. Ferris wheel was built in 1937 and is well taken care of.
The splash pad is a wonderful water place for your children I know my kids absolutely love it
It was a little trashy, but we still had our picnic there.
Closed fairly often.
Great place to take the kids to cool off. Parking is under the Garrison bridge, so your car isnt hot when you get in to leave. Clean facility.
Nice small splash pad park. Under the Garrison bridge close to the river. Nice shaded seats
Fun place. Cheap. Kids had fun
My kids love going to the splash pad here the only downside is if you go after a certain time youll have to go down the road to use the restroom but overall its a great place.
I really enjoyed it. Its a fun loving family quality time can be spent there.
Very beautiful. Nice place to do a photoshoot.
I would like to eat here one day
We went to walk the Garrison Bridge to see the flood waters...the park is usually very clean and well kept for my little ones!!
Kids can play for hours in the water for free. Theyve added shade, picnic tables, and more lighting. My kids love it!
Great scenery
Splash pad for kids and a ferris wheel not a lot but a ok time.
Lovely park with splash pad and ferris wheel and a train car diner burger joint to. Its great.
This is a neat place to go
Kids loved splash pad (free) rode Ferris wheel & merry go round ($1)
Its a great small park with a good burger place and a ride with plenty of views.
It is amazing at night... it lights up everywhere.
Said it was open but it was all locked up and closed. hope to catch them open looked like a blast.
Nice at West end in Ft, Smith Arkansas.
Garrison bridge....history making flood of 2019.
A fun few rides and some wonderful food.
This park is great especially for kids, and with the nearby splash pad for summer months. My kids log the animals and rides here.
This park is inexpensive an a really cute place for downtown fort smith. Great for kids and adults.
I love the idea of the splash pad, but its complete b.s. that the bathroom your directed to for use has a sign that reads absolutely no entry with wet swimsuits
Very nice little park, right next to Fort Smith history museum.
This is a great park for people with children, they also have a little restaurant there with really good hamburgers.
Great place to take family enjoy the day
Very pretty, clean and safe. Well manicured.
Fun family atmosphere
Kids love it.
The antique attractions and train car dinner are very cozy for the perfect date.
Very nice. Shady place to sit for adults.
The kids had fun.
The food is great and the farris wheel is fun
Adults smoking close to the children.
Eat lunch with your kids in a train. Better in the summer.
Patricks Burgers is the best in town!
It was free to ride the Ferris Wheel, but no one was operating the Merry-go-round, and the restaurant was closed until spring.
Look at the river
