I would have given this a 5 star but the tour guide was mediocre at best. Not very friendly. But the home itself was definitely worth the visit.

This place is awesome. I didnt take pictures because I felt I was actually in someones home. The docent was knowledgeable and presented a story that ensured the Clayton legacy will live on.

These few streets might be the only street in arkansas that has that old victorian charm. after seeing this house i was ready to move in. i was lucky that the lady thats was giving the tour was nice enough to late im in early because i got there an 1/2 before opening. how many place teeat their guest like that. she was excellent friendly and truly had a love for the house and the old house that surround it. i really enjoyed my visit here and would take the tour again.

Only did a night visit to do a light paranormal investigation. The place looks creepy enough at night. Cant wait to go during the day.

Very cool, tour guide was amazing. The house has so much history, so much art. Though noone was smoking on the premises, every once in a while you would smell cigar smoke. Definetly worth the 6 bucks, and a must see if you visit Fort Smith. Supposedly haunted oOo

Beautiful house with a rich history and a lovely tour. The guide provides an informative and easy to understand tour and is able to engage all ages (it was me, my mom, and my 6 year old). All in all, it was a wonderful spot to learn a little more about the history of Fort Smith and we all enjoyed it immensely.

Beautiful place to spend the afternoon. But they didnt open till 3 pm and rushed us out the door is just over an hour. Would have been nice if we could have had more time. Seems they had somewhere else they would rsther be.

Great fun. Our tour guide was friendly and efficient. House is amazing with a wonderfully rich history. Ask about the ghosts. We saw a porcelain figurine that had changed position from what we believe we had first seen but didnt say anything.

Would definitely recommend the Clayton house if youd like to experience some Fort Smith history. My Guide was very knowledgeable, and I also spoke to the curator of the home and she had much knowledge of the home and the historical district it resides in. The cost of the tour was $6 and well worth it they are set up to take debit or credit cards as well.

I would have liked to seen the house, but all I got for my $5.00 was a guide full of herself. Telling us how great she was and bragging on how much she knew. Really disappointing.

Sarah was too long winded, came to tour the home, not for a history lesson. Left because at the rate she was going it was going to take a while. Not interested in all the details, just the home.
