It was good for the whole fam. Kids can play at the park or splash pad while the adults cook or chill in the covered area.

I just stopped here to rest my legs.and although it was dead and has been some time even before Covid-19 struck, it was still very clean and well maintained and the splash pad area is even clean and safe for the kids which unknown all parents appreciate

Weve had plenty of days out here. Parties too. Always fun!

We had lots of fun and love that the water pad was covered and the playground was covered it keep the kids cooler and out of the sun.

Its a fun place to go when its hot & you wanna cool down and have some fun with your kiddos!

This is probably de best park Ive ever laid my eyes on for something to do for FREE. Park features several leisures & physical amenities... It seems to have everything. I MUST SAY, HOWEVER: WATCH YOUR CHILDREN & YOUR BACK WITH HAWK EYES. De area has around de clock stalkers who look for vulnerabilities.

My son and I stopped by to enjoy the playground shortly before sunset. There were lots of families there, a soccer game in process, and it was a relaxed, friendly setting.

Compared to its beginning the park is wonderful and balances feels for game play skate borders park to having picnic tables under shade trees.

Took my kids to the splash park here during the summer. The water smelled awful and there were tons of peopleWe left and went to the splash pad at tilles park. No smell and less crowded.

The city need to put up lights at the skate park

Seemed nice at first until, I walked closer. There was no where to sit. There was trash everywhere. The bathrooms were disgusting. Pretty sure I saw a man walking around with a huge knife in his back pocket.. so, I won’t be going back.

Its always fun to get outdoors and visit the many parks in and around the Fort Smith area! Martin Luther King Park has a wonderful splashpad to cool off on these hot summer days!!

I really cant review this with an honest opinion because Ive never really stayed that long at the park I just pick someone up there that was broke down but from what I have seen it has Open Water Park play which is always a good thing for children to have access to having fun during the summer time if they cant afford to pay for pool access at the public pools that accessibility to children is a plus but I would recommend that mothers or fathers be with their children while they are there and to not leave them unattended

Family came to visit from out of town and we had a blast taking our kids here to play and splash in the water on a hot day!

We love the splash pad but the park needs to be cleaned up from all the trash laying around and the grass really needs mowed.

The water splash area smells bad

It is a traditional thing for kids to throw their shoe at the buckets to tip the water out. Well there should be a way to get the stuck shoes back when they accidentally get inside the bucket. I lost a shoe today when my son threw it and it landed in the bucket. I would like to have my shoe back.

I love taking the kids there because there is such a Variety of things to do.

Fellow soldiers and I on t.d.y. from Fort Hood in 1978 to Ft. Chaffee use to come here to visit and hang out and meet the locals. We all quickly found out throughout the city how racist it was, especially toward the resettled Vietnamese. Friends from this city who live here in Texas have expressed how with the progress that has been made, that old spirit always sticks its head to remind folks it hasnt gone anywhere.The spirit of Good people will always make the difference.
