A great place for walks, to set and watch nature such as the many varieties of birds, the squirrels, many of which will feed from your hand or close to. Walk your dogs if youd like, but be mindful to clean up after them. Oh and always leash them! Its great for families playing at playgrounds, riding the little train there too. Picnic areas are available as well. Creekmore park is midtown located but one gets the satisfaction of being surrounded by nature.

The park is good, well maintained, though there is a distinct lack of normal swings.There are 2 normal swings, 3 chair/handicap swings, and 5 baby/toddler swings. While it is good that they consider babies and handicap its difficult to feel like you have to compete for the swings.Im also sad that the Christmas lights are out but not lit. We were at the park after dark.But Im sure youre not just coming to the park for the swings, or the lights just yet, and this park is a fun place to enjoy the outdoors or meet publicly.

One of the best places to walk in Fort Smith. My mom and I come here to walk 5 laps around (3 miles or so), and Im always impressed by how many people are there enjoying the environment. Its not crowded, but it definitely feels like youre in a public area. From a safety standpoint, Ive never once felt worried at all.

Its a pretty nice park, and does have tennis and ball courts as well as several playgrounds for any age. I ended up going in order to see the Christmas lights, and it was too crowded for my taste. Some of the displays were not working, and there was no guidance on the best way to walk through it. Several people were quite rude and would run me off my path, or not pay attention when I was taking pictures. Outside of that, it was a nice spot to go.

Its a convenient place to take the dog - or the kids for a break from a busy day... nice sidewalks throughout the park so you can exercise if youre so inclined... close to fast food and coffee shop so its pretty easy to grab lunch and decompress for a minute..a lot of shade in the summer makes it a decent choice to take a breather... kch

Went to see the Christmas lights. Very pretty, but most of the lights were focused on the train track area and no train this year, one display half the lights were out.

Nice place to go with the family. In the summer there is a pool and a little train some times. There also tennis courts. I dont know if the put put is still open in the summer. Every year the city of Fort Smith put up lights for the festivities.

Plenty of play equipment for all ages. My son had a blast. I do think that the sidewalk had a bit too much mulch and tree limbs covering the path. But other than that, great.

Love the train Christmas time is the best rides are what ever you afford to give so no worry if you any got a dime to your name to ride .

Our Church family of about 23 people went to Creekmore with it being just $2.50 a game I think everybody should be going over there to help them so they can stay open. Then we got snow, cones, $2.00 a medium size. Had great service.

Nice shaded park. I like to do phone errands while relaxing in my car. Lots of walkers of all ages. Busy place but not overly crowded.

We went to the pool. The water was beautiful, alot of lifeguards on duty and they practiced social distancing. We had a great time there.

If you have kids this is the park for you tons of things for them to do even a wheelchair swing. multiple playgrounds, mini golf in the summer, beautiful scenic walking path. the park still has a ton to offer in the winter time especially close to Christmas with the light show and the train ride

We loved it!! We went for Christmas lights. The line for the train was long but it moved quickly. It was right by the playground equipment so the kids played while we waited. Great experience! Thank you!! ️

Had a wonderful time taking some kids to see the beautiful Christmas lights. The city workers did a magnificent job on the displays. We rode the he train for the first time. The kids had a ball and so did I.

Love Creekmore park. Has many activities and play ground equipment for children. Tennis courts, swimming pools, walking trail and even an adorable little train you can take your kids on for a ride for like 50 cents. They decorate with lights every year for Christmas and its beautiful!!

Amazing place for the whole family, they have putt putt golf for all ages for about 3 bucks a person, they have a couple pools for all ages adults and kids alike. The train which is fun for the whole family and around the holidays they always have a theme. Plenty of play equipment and swings for everyone. Several large outside gazebos for parties and get togethers, and if you want to beat the heat you can rent the indoor rooms starting at around 35 bucks for 4 hours for parties. They also have a tennis court and a walking track that has work out equipment along the trail. overall this is probably one of the best most diverse parts in fort Smith.

Loved this little park. The cute play ground with a train for kids to ride. The play ground has lots of choices for kids and adult seating in shade at most places.

Got to take my Great Grandsons on the train ride around the park. The Christmas Decorations were very beautiful and we all had a great time.

My boyfriend surprised me with a visit here for the Christmas lights they had around the park. It was a really good time strolling along the paths looking at the different light displays, only thing they need to add is a hot chocolate stand!

If you have the opportunity to visit at Christmas,. you will be taken back to a wonderful time just being a kid... lets face it, no matter how old we get, we are all kids at heart

I wish it was maintained better than it is. Such a nice park but it is run down. The statues are cool....but with no bird sanctuary anymore and a run down mini golf that hasnt changed in 30 years....its like they arent even trying. Could be a great park with just a little more work. Like get the walking trail to where it doesnt flood in areas and fix the broken equipment.

Love this park, is it one of my favorite places to hang out when I am down in the area.

We always choose to visit this park when going out for a family picnic because it is always clean and busy. My little one loves to play on the large jungle gym! The park was definitely in need of some maintenance though, large limbs scattered throughout the park and debris around the paths, probably due to the recent storms. All-in-all it is always a pleasent experience.

This is a great place to hang with family and friends. They have a small train that makes rounds through the park, tennis courts, a kiddie pool and an Olympic sized pool. Theres lots of space, playground equipment, tables and pavilions, and even a bird sanctuary.

Beautiful, safe, kid AND adult friendly, great walking track, great exercise areas, lots of playground equipment, gazebos, picnic tables, Olympic-sized outdoor pool with lifeguards, multiple tennis courts, super clean, and absolutely beautiful landscaping! It is so big, if you want a quiet place to read/study/meditate that is easily found. There are indoor rooms that can be rented reasonably for parties or meetings. It is so enjoyable!!

Nice park, well kept. Picnic tables and pavilions available. May also contact Parks and recreation to rent community rooms, one of which has kitchen area, ice machine, and coffee maker. Deposit required and rentals vary depending on room and amount of time rented. Nice area for children to play, swings, slides, activity equipment. Nice to see the park leading the way with a handicap swing that is capable of handling a wheel chair. Train rides available during certain times of year including during Christmas light displays. Restrooms available, free parking with handicap spaces available. Pool area, and childrens pool available during appropriate season.

The free train rides are so cool! My son loved it. If the steam train was working too he would have stayed all day probably.

The park is lovely any time of year. There is a calm atmosphere about the place. My only issue is that the grass is so high, which can make it difficult to navigate when not using sidewalks.

Nice park a lot of things to do and very beautiful my kids enjoyed themselves very much.

I love taking walks here. Theres nice tree-cover which is great during the summer. Theres usually people out and about almost any time of the day you go, so it feels pretty safe too. The Christmas light display every year is something we always look forward to. The location is great; right across the street from the main library branch and a cafe with outdoor seating. Theres plenty to do for everyone: a playground, train rides, miniature golf, swimming, tennis, basketball, grilling, picnic, walking, running, or just hanging out in a hammock under the trees. Id say this is hands-down the best park in Fort Smith. Theres also a community center with rooms that can be rented for events and an outdoor pavilion.
