We had a great time on my sons birthday. Lifeguards are amazing. Everyone was so nice. Lots of exciting things to do for him(7) and me(47). Definitely going back.
The life guards pick and choose who to say something to. My daughter plays with a baby doll like every one else but she is the only one told she cant have it.. Mean while every time we go, there are kids with toys no one says anything.. Season passes arent anything special either you get more perks just buying a ticket when you wanna go.
Very clean but its a small park compared to most- Management and employees were friendly and helpful. We sat in Premier seating which was definitely worth the extra $..our caterer/host was Alex- wow he turned our park experience into a 5 star day!@
Its really fun i.went there in the summer I recommend
Great place to visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lifeguards are very attentive to all that is swimming. Would highly recommend.
Fun place but food prices are outrageous! Anything you buy there is high. Almost drowned in wave pool in front of a lifeguard. Love lazy river. No one likes the slides like they used too
We love this place. Amazing family time and so close to home. We have never had anything like this so close while we were in the military. Since my husbands retirement and our relocation here, this has been the one consistent thing we do every summer. Some complain the prices are too high, but I find that the Gold pass is well worth it. We get in 1/2 hour earlier than normal hours, get our seats, and enjoy awesome family time. From the wave pool, to the slides, swim area, and kiddie area, plus the new flow rider. Fun for the whole family, very safe and very attentive life guards!
Water park was a blast!! Next year my son will be ready for the BIG SLIDES!! I cant wait to see how much he loves it!
The water time was great! But the concession stand was awful!!! The first time I went to get lunch for the family and I stood there waiting for 25 to 30 minutes, I stood there for so long the Ice in my soda melted. Then the second time I went to get a couple of drinks and nachos. I too the drinks to our table and went to get the nachos. Four other people that ordered after me received their food. I asked about mine and they said it had already gone out. When they finally gave me an order of nachos it was pathetic! The cheese in a little tiny cup and a hand full of broken chips, not worth the Five dollars they charge. Plus on top of all it when you pay for your order, they keep your change! Because they say they dont have any change to give you back. Well this was my first time to Parrot Island and my last! For as much as they charge, I was highly disappointed....
Great experience. Even with Covid-19 restrictions, the entry process is very simple and easy. Cant wait to return.
Fun, fun, fun. Very friendly and professional staff. Great safety measures both for the regular activity ( swimming) and the current situation ( pandemic)
Very impressed with the cleanliness of the park! We enjoyed our visit.
We drove from Tulsa, and it was well worth it! We had a great, relaxing time! Would definitely go back
So this morning we get to the waterpark they have three brand-new baard the management decided to take him down and out and replace them with broken.the double standards between the rules and regulations for the customers and employees need to. End. We have video of employee riding double on the FlowRider. But no barrier in the middle at all.those two employees were watched by members of staff and management during this time.when Kyle decided he wanted to get mad at me for posting a review on Google he came over to me in a very rude tone I believe and was using foul language towards the customer thats not very business.
Very nice experience. Clean space. Plenty of water activities.
My children loved the addition of FlowRider this last year. I love how the always keep the park clean and always have someone walking around checking on everything. Parrot Island is a wonderful option for us locals to enjoy all summer long! I highly recommend season passes, it comes out money ahead if you plan to go even once weekly. Theres something for everyone in the family to enjoy.
The place was ok. I just wish the music was better and up to date
Wish they had more stuff for the lil ones and more like bigger but other then that it was super great
Had read several reviews about not having adult choices more geared for kids however this was absolutely worth our money! We played for 5 hrs before we pooped out and had to go eat food! Our grandson is 4 he had a blast at turtle island ! 4 slides of varying height and length perfect for active toddlers!! Several things sprayed water so you could refresh! Adult swim time(we convinced him) was the lazy river. The waterfalls feel great and the current pushes you along if you lay on top of the inner tube! Lifeguards everywhere so we felt safe just in case! Tons of bathrooms, food was pricey but doable. The wave pool was cool to watch I didnt get in though! We paid for premium seats and had our own chairs and umbrella however there was plenty of chairs under shade if you didnt want to pay extra! If we lived closer we would have bought season tickets for the family!! Loved loved loved this place!
We had so much fun here!
So much fun! Great environment for the whole family.
Very Affordable Comfortable family friendly... Love this place.... ALL DAY FUN!!!
The parking lot is bigger then the park they need to expand
We had a blast for my daughters 11th birthday
Great fun place! My daughter loves it.
Tons of fun! Lots of covered shady seating!
I had a great time at Parrot Island this week! Upon entry there is a bag check for security measures to keep everyone safe. The lifeguards are very attentive. The water and pool deck is clean. They have a premiere seating area that has a beautiful view of the wave pool. For all of the amenities they offer the tickets are a great price. Management staff was very accommodating and made the experience very enjoyable! Will be back very soon!!!
It was great!! Only hated that they didnt have a deeper pool.
Over heard general and assistant gm cussing at a customer over petty issues when customer brought up a valid point and there is a double standard from staff to customer
Kindavw high prices but fun besides that
Great place to hang out with friends and family
Great place, great staff
A great water park for the whole family! Not too big and there was something to do for everyone. The big slides were fun for the adults and our little ones had lots to do in the kids play area, wave pool and lazy river. Food was good and the prices were very reasonable. We will go again soon!
Great place, can get crowded if there on weekends. Use online shopping. Season passes are a deal if you go more than 4 times a year. Dont bring anything but water.
Omg where to start. So I get there at opening and was informed that Just letting you know we only have a few attractions open today. The wave pool, The Turtle Island, and two slides. The others are having maintenance. Were working as fast as possible. Okay, thats all fine and I buy my ticket and get inside only to find out that the locker rentals kiosk, on both sides, werent working either. Im only there about half an hour and people are just piling up. There wasnt enough seating, the attractions that were open were crowded and no body knew anything about how maintenance was going. Life Gaurds literally standing around empty pools. Im getting hot and tired so I left, they tried to give me a free day pass instead of my refund but I got my refund. I wouldnt recommend this place and wont be going there ever.
Wish they had more slides, but still a great outing with family.
We always have a great time. People compare it to Alma. If you are going for slides, stick with Alma because the slides are better. The wave pool and lazy river are worth it for us...that is why we prefer it. If you are going to be able to go several times during the summer, do the season pass. The day rate is a little high if you have a large group of people though.
They are the best Family Fun Water Park around the River Valley to take your kids too.
Granddaughter loved going for tiny tots hour
The staff are amazing considering the day to day job duties they have to endure. Great place for the entire family!
It is ridiculous that your own employees have to wear a the outfits they do. There is nothing wrong with uniforms but its too hot in the summer to wear it. Allow them more comfort.
When we called they said we could come up to the ticket place to buy our tickets since we couldnt but our tickets on line then we get there they say we cant buy the tickets there we can only buy them in line go to the web site can find any ware to buy them for the day it takes us to a place to buy season pass nothing about the 18 dollar day passes these people are a bunch of lyers dont spend your money here
Lazy River needs to be bigger..too many little kids/teenagers acting stupid ruining others fun .I think its ridiculous that you cant bring your own food in..who can afford their costs after paying $15 to get it. I definitely think this is unfair to the ones who want to go there.
Over crowded with kids. I just watch3d
You have a good fun!!
I don’t recommend having a birthday there and spending $230. The soda was so flat, the pizza was terrible the whole toppings just fell off. there was another party going on beside us and there was only one host taking care of both parties. There’s supposed to be one per party. Therefore, it took 10-15 minutes for us to get my sons cake and cupcakes out. It was his first birthday and I’m so upset that it went the way it did after spending that much. By the time he did his smash cake we had to hurry and open presents and then leave the area. Miles the supervisor was beyond rude about the whole situation. He didn’t even care to listen. Lesson learned about this place!
Family friendly and fun. I spent most of my time in the wave pool and lazy river, but enjoyed my 2 hours.
This is a great place to have summer fun with the family. Its fairly clean. The staff is very nice and the life guard do their jobs well. My only complaints is that they do not have a good place to change your clothing and the showers smell like urine. Plus I feel like it is well over priced.
We went as a group of 24 people. Every one in the group, both adults and kids enjoyed this water park. For best utilization, reach the park right when they open the doors
Good for a hot day. Better for small kids than teens. The surf attraction is not ready yet. We really wanted to see that the most. Lazy River and slides were fun.
What was a good experience for my child shes 5. The swim for tots time was perfect 8 to 9:30am. I love seeing my daughter happy and for the price I was impressed.
Its a nice place but I get bored there after a couple of hours. My preference is the lazy river but it can get too crowded. I really wish that they offered adult only times. Also its a big disappointment that they close so early in August when its the hottest month. They honestly could have adult only days in August, say Wednesdays or Fridays. Hire people for those - not just students to work. I would find it more worth it if they did that.
For the price, its okay, when its a hot day and theres nothing else to do this would be a great place to take your kids. However, with the size of Fort Smith youd think something like this would be bigger. They need to invest in bigger slides, bigger, a deeper and larger wave pool, and some slide for more than one person, a family/racing slide would be great. More seating would be nice as well because on a packed day, its a lot smaller. Otger than that this is a great place to go hangout.
Its fun but limited do to its size. Its definitely great to take the kids for the afternoon but over honestly paid as much to go to larger parks like in Tulsa, but location, you dont have to drive as far. If youre going to go regularly a season pass is the best option.
The water park isnt open yet but I went to the office to purchase my season pass. Lucinda was awesome and so very helpful. She showed me around the park as I am new to the area. A very pleasant experience and I am looking forward to enjoying some water fun this summer.
Hot fun in the Summer time! Great place to cool of from the heat and stress of Northwest Arkansas summers. Priced just right!
Great place to spend a day with family. Pizza is not the best but there are many DIFFERENT options to choose from there. Over all great place. Is kinda pricey but the season pass it worth it when you buy it.
My kids LOVED this! Lazy river is fantastic, fun and the wave pool was outstanding. We visit my family Mountainburg very year and well be adding this as part of the trip each year going forward
Loved it!! Actually went with work.. The slides seemed slower than I remember, may be bc of wake board attraction.LOVE LOVE love the LAZY RIVER!!the wave pool seemed to move in all kinds of directions. We didnt get lockers, jyst left our stuff at a table. Nobody messed with it. Which is SO appreciated!!
This water park has a few fun things that are worth going to, such as a wave pool with huge waves, a lazy river, and their new surf thingy(I never went on it), but after a while things get boring pretty quickly, the wave pool didn’t use to take very long to start up, but now it takes 15 minutes of starting up for about 10 minutes at best of waves, the entire water park doesn’t really have a bigger pool for adults and some teenagers, and most adults stay in the lazy river the whole time they are there, making that crowded. The little kids have an entire playground thingy with cannons that shoot water, and my little brother used to go for hours on that thing when he was little. The area next to that is a slightly bigger pool for kids and babies, they have three little floating things that kids can get on, the most popular being the Turf War Shark(that’s what I call it) where up to three kids sit on the shark while other kids try to topple them off and steal their spot, this would normally be a lot of fun if the lifeguards didn’t get on to you every five seconds. I get that they wanna protect the equipment and they don’t want other people or the kids themselves hurt, but most of the time, the closest person is at the turtle floaty thing, which is nowhere near enough to where they could get hurt. The slides are ok, half are good, the other half is bad. The orange slide is a bit tight, but very fast and fun, the blue slide is more open and has less twist and turns, but is more peaceful and slow. The bad slides are the purple slide is twisty and in a tube and you can see outside through these little strips in that go around the slide in circles, but you have to lie down on the slide or else you get in trouble, and the slide destroys your back, it hurts that bad, and the yellow slide is one of those big drop slides, but the people say that you have to lie down and you always end getting a bump on the back on your head from the end. The park is almost always crowded and lines for the slides are long most of the time. I would not recommend getting season passes for this place because of how expensive it is, but I would recommend Alma Water Park, it’s almost never crowded, all of the slides are good, there are pools for kids and adults and prices for food and season passes are reasonable.
This is a good water park for a fun time with family. There are four large slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, and Little turtle island for the little kids! Fun for all ages, they just added a new flowmaster which is the surfing simulator.
Its fun BUT its over priced and for a family of 5 we cant afford to go anymore since they upped the prices ( already expensive before they upped the prices) and if we are going pay $17 a ticket not much to do but ride slides and wave pool, will just take us a little mini trip out of town
Love this place. Just the right size.
Fun place for the kids.
They raised their prices this year to $18 per person. Thats way too high. If they had more things to do there then the price would be ok and the food is high as hell
Made reservations and was turned away they lied to me and my family
Looking for something to do with the family. Found this place all 9 of us had a blast. Definitely will visit again.
My child had so much fun. This was our first time attending. There was so much to do. I could stay in the wave pool or lazy river all day. The bathrooms were clean. I will return.
We had a blast.
This is a great place to cool down, all in good shape and everyone was quite nice. Lots of life guards on duty to.
We buy season passes every summer! Food is fairly priced and tastes great after playing in the water all day! My girls love it too!! Staff is great and the lifeguards are well trained! We had my middle daughters birthday party there and it was a hit! Will be going back for many summers to come!
Overcrowded. Had to be some kind of hazard for as many people there.Absolutely ridiculous. At first they werent going to do a refund, but finally did.Im use to quite a bit of people, but spread out. Therr was no place to get in water.Staff was nice is the only compliment I have.
Need more slides for kids that are too big for kid part but to small for bigger slides.. Also lifeguards dont pay attention to kida pushing other kids down the slide. Kick them out or someone will get hurt
Clean a lot of life guards
Music and water...food...lounge and eat and swim...real good time watch I g people try to surf standing up
Kids love going. Wish there was a diving pool & it was a little bit bigger, but it isn’t about me. It’s about the kids and they enjoy it. Only times I don’t like it is when everyone gets consolidated to one half or the other because of chemicals and what not. Have season passes and if we went everyday for my entire family it’d be something like $1 a day.
We always have a great time when we go. We got season passes this year... definitely worth it.
Is this the real hype house?
Really fun day with family! Cant wait to go back
The staff here is amazing and very helpful. They keep a watchful eye on the people who are in and out of the water
They have some greatl life guards. My one and only comment is how some of the supervisor treat some of the guests when they have questions or concerns about the park.
Great price and lots of fun. Staff was very helpful.
Its was great but busy. The best thing was the wave pool.
Kids had a blast for sure going back next summer.
Parrot Bay is an excellent place to cool off in the hot arkansas summer. We visit often and enjoy it every time. A few times the lazy river wasnt operating so that is a bummer but I always enjoy the wave pool and my daughter loves the kids area! The line at the concession can get long and I wish the drink station near the big pool worked so i didnt have to wait in the line.
Kids love it here, hours of play time and they do not get bored easily.
This place is a joke. The staff/lifeguards had no interest in patrons questions, comments, or concerns. My personal experience started off with a verbal warning that some of the attractions were under maintenance (chemical imbalance) and they were working as diligently as possible to correct the issue. Upon entry, the locker kiosks (both men and womens side) were not in working order which meant no locker rentals for anyone and you now had to monitor your personal belongings. So that was a bummer. Only two slides were open for use, the turtle cove, and the wave pool. The two best slides, the activity pool and the lazy river were closed. I waited 45 minutes and I could not see any progress being made towards this maintenance. There were literally lifeguards guarding empty pools. As this is happening, people are just pouring into the park rapidly and filling what available attractions there were over the maximum occupancy. I decided I finally have had enough after an hour of watching the mob grow with no visual progress being made towards the other attractions. I go back up to the ticket counter to get a refund and the manager tries to smooth it over by giving me day passes for another day. I informed her no that would not be good for me since I am never coming back. I got my money back and informed every other stranger on my way to my car that half the rides were not open but if you have little kids, full steam ahead. First and last time I will be going there. Id give it half a star if I could.
