Me and my wife went here last winter, I have never experienced a museum that was so humbling. Truly an awesome experience and the Medal of Honor memorial statue is an awesome and heart wrenching sight. I’ll always be appreciative of these great warriors who paid the ultimate price for our freedom and for those who have and continue to serve. A wonderful tribute to history overall. Thank you so much!
Fantastic place, my brother told us about it so we made the trip from Miami for my 8 yearOlds birthday. The previous reviews are spot on, exceptionally well curated and maintained museum truly spanning the full duration of the military history and specific conflict presentations. All interactive displays worked as expected and the place was in great condition all around. Really enjoyed walking around the watercraft outside and a quick run through the obstacle course.
Can’t say enough about this museum. They have done a first class job. It took us about 1.5 to 2 hours to tour. The 9/11 exhibit was a neat surprise that played well into the overall exhibit. The media was first class and the guns, vehicles, uniforms, etc mostly real and not cheap replicas. The grounds are excellently maintained as well.
An amazing museum! Didnt know it existed until we arrived in Ft Pierce, then had to go. Spent most of a day here and were wowed. Their exhibits, with they type of Seal memorabilia and stories you would expect were fantastic. Their collection of vehicles makes it real. Their Memorial Wall is deeply moving and beautifully done. We owe so much to the brave and selfless few who become Seals.
Awesome and interactive, especially for older kids. Get to handle Navy Seal equipment, climb on boats the Navy Seals use and run the actual Navy Seal obstacle training course!!! AWESOME BEACH onsite, as well (other side of parking lot). Go straight to beach after museum!! Comparable to Cocoa Beach, but less rough waves.
Definitely great visit. Starts with moder times and go back to seal creation. No props all items from the combat. Great visit!
A lot of information and interesting things here. Well put together. A bit to RA, RA, RA for me and everything is told from the side of the victor without any thought that the story might have a different side. All in all worth the trip
Decided to take my family here for a visit during our vacation. I can not speak highly enough about this! Great for all all ages. Very informative, historical correct. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The exhibits are very well put together and informative!
Great experience at the museum and 35th Annual Muster Remembering Vietnam event that included unveiling the K9 special warfare memorial.
Amazing place to visit, tons of history here. Spent around two hours here so much to see and learn about.
Very nice place. They have so much historic items that it seems you need hours or even 2 visits to truly take it all in. Goes backwards from recent (9/11) to world war II. Very impressed with the memorabilia & history my son & I were able to learn. I appreciate our armed forces & the sacrifices they make for our freedom. It was a great experience.
Great experience! Full of information and exhibits going back to the beginning days of the Scouts & Raiders of WWII up to today. Highly recommend!!
One of the best museums I have been to. Very well put together with lots of displays, video and interactive screens. I was told by one of the very helpful staff that all the displays are real with no replicas. Thorough history from WWII to present. Lots of boats and mini subs outside. Highly recommended.
Great place. Very informative. Lot of exhibits in a short time. As well, some outdoor exhibits.
Very interesting, lots of history. Great place to bring kids and learn about the SEALS. Good for pictures with the boats and gear. Right at a beautiful beach, perfect for a cool walk in the evening. A must see...
Small museum packed with very interesting artifacts and information, but you have to read and listen if you want to get the most out of it. The only downside was a lady at the end of the indoor part who, for some reason, sounded as if she was trying to discourage us from watching a video presentation that had been suggested to us, which was going to be at 2 pm. Instead of encouraging us to go and watch it, she made it sound as if we were really not missing much. And we ended up not watching it.
Went here with the family and it was so cool there were a lot of cool stuff to look at. Old clothing and guns and cool pictures with stories about items or people. While we were there some veterans were getting filmed for a documentary about their times in the service, and they let us listen in behind the scenes and it was so awesome. There’s a lot of cool little things that teach you about the history of stuff there that I think is cool. Even bought 2 shirts and a bullet hat pin. Would highly recommend for everyone.
An excellent museum. The displays are really well done with authentic items from a helicopter to a desert dune buggy to armaments from all eras - WW2, Vietnam, the Way on Terror post 9/11. Its just the right amount of information and details for everyone of all ages. The outside obstacle course was a favorite of the kids. The boats that we could climb on or otherwise access were equally great. The staff was friendly and helpful. A great experience - much, much better than what I expected from a small museum.
This great Mueseum shows the history of the Navy Seals from their inception. Every piece of equipment was actually used by the Seals there are no replicas. Great place to go to learn the history of some of the greatest warriors of our country
This museum was started by a group of WWII veterans and is amazing. So much history and knowledge inside and outside of this museum I paid just twelve dollars to get in with a military discount, general admission is fourteen dollars without the discount. The displays here are amazing just check out my attached photos and see why you should check this beautiful museum out.
One of the most humbling and exciting experiences I have had! So much information and awesome to see things used from old to new war history.
Great place, loads of information and quality exhibits. The obstacle course is cool as well. Very well maintained, also had a great little gift shop. Will definitely come again, and highly recommend coming here.
Great place. active duty goes free. 10/10 would go again
Wow – Beautifully done museum – Must see! I visited this museum many years ago but it has undergone a major renovation. It was good, now it is great. It is located next to the beach and has plenty of parking. It has the actual museum, lots of static displays, a store and an obstacle course. The cost is very inexpensive for what the museum is showing you. It is really beautifully done by years going from the most recent as you enter the door to the WWII at the southern end. There are interactive displays on computers as well as lots of very well done displays throughout. Outside there are displays to show the various craft that are or have been used. Some are viewing only and some you can actually go onto. The entire museum and grounds is one of the best that I have seen. If anyone is interested in military history, this is a must see.
Very interesting tour. Good info on how the Navy Seals got started. Lots of cool vehicles boats that theyd used over the years. Glad to know we have such capable men protecting our country. Definitely worth the time to visit.
Absolutely fabulous hidden gem. We happened past and saw kids on the obstacle course... And just had to stop. We were almost put of by the admission price of $15 per adult (and teens count as adults) but Im really glad we decided to go anyway. There were lots of hands on opportunities and photo ops along with a ton of education on the Navy Seals and how they came to be. This is worth making a trip for, especially for those with military experience or kids considering a career in the military.
Great place to visit. People were very helpful with our question.
Amazing details and artifacts describing the creation of the UDT, and their development and involvement internationally over the decades.
This Museum is situated steps away from the beach. It was a beautiful day to take a walk through history. I really did not know much about the Navy UDT/SEALS prior to this visit. The exhibits are well organized and I really enjoyed the short video segments. Very informative. My son really enjoyed the outdoor obstacle course, sitting in the helicopter and getting to try on the uniform.
This place wad fantastic. Lots of very interesting things inside. The employees were very friendly and helpful. It was an honor to visit. If you are passing by and like military stuff, you need to stop here.
Well worth the price. Has a tonne of displays and talks about the growth of the navy seals from simple frogmen to the awesome military force they are now, they have WW 2 displays with captured weapons the axis carried to what our troops carried, they have a gift shop and some movies to watch you can spend hours
It is a real good musseum for every person how is interested in military history or how is fascinated of the Navy Seals!!! You should bring 2h or more time with you.
Absolutely amazing history put together so well, worth every minute.
The national Navy seal museum there on the beach in Fort Pierce Florida is a must see if you were a tourist in the area with a mind to honor those who have served our country! I have visited the museum on two occasions once alone and once with my sons we enjoyed learning many things about the formation of the seals and the purposes they serve during war.It is a great tribute to those service members who have fallen as well as those who currently serve!
Very interesting.. the movies were the best. The worst thing was my son kept going outside for no reason and then coming back in through the exit only door. Eventually the docent lady yelled at him to me. He is 14 years old.
Nice small museum right next to beach entrance. I wish they would let you into the helicopter and 4 wheeler buggies. My son loved the obstacle course, that was cool. Only thing I thought was bad is parking. The parking is shared with beach goers. Since we went on a weekend, there was no parking. Had to go around a couple of times to wait till someone left. So either go early or park across the street.
My Kids & are whole Family loved the History of this place. Highly recommended.
The museum was great. Kids loved the outside obstacle course which thankfully tired them out enough to behave inside the museum. Genius. It had great learning about SEALS and their support and evolution. Great museum! Also has a nice playground next door and beach access too.
An amazing family experience with great displays and activities. A must visit but ideally aim for an overcast or cooler day to really enjoy the outside displays and obstacle course
This is a very good place to visit when in area. Also the best interactive displays. Of you are into Military History a good vacation place lots to see. Also other things to see and do in the area.
I went here to learn about navy seals. There are just a bunch of guys in uniforms and obstacle courses. Where are the seals?
Found this to be very informative! A true salute to our Heros!
Great place to learn about American history and The navy. The visualization and tricketts made me feel I was there.
If you like History, Military History, and have an appreciation for our Military, this place is for you. Great doesnt say enough.Google Maps was Dead On Perfect.Easily accessible from the Main Thoughofare A1A and not far from US 1 or I-95. Plenty of free parking including for Handicap accessible Vehicles. It is adjacent to a Park and literally 50 yards to the Beach. There is a fair admission to enter and it is well worth it. It has public Restrooms which were clean. They also have a nice Gift shop. The museum itself inside has plenty of displays, including mulitple hands displays and movies. All ages can appreciate and get a involved. Most of what they have on display are actual items that have been used to keep us safe and defeat our enemies.Outside are some excellent statues, a memorial wall and water craft. There is also an obstacle course that you can use and a climbing tower once you do the paperwork inside. You should allow 4-6 hours for your visit if you want to watch the 2 hr movie at the entrance. Discounts are available for Children and Seniors. Gift shop prices are fair and they also have a Brick program if you want to purchase one.Overall this is one of the Best Military Museums that we have visited and the fact that it is located on the exact spot where the UDT / Seals got their start makes it all the more special. We were also able to see the Dogs, Raven and Bullit show some of what they have been trained to do.
I finally had the opportunity to visit this museum today. This museum offers an abundant of outside displays ranging from boats and other vehicles used but also a memorial fountain and some very nice statues. Once I made it inside the staff were all very nice and helpful and they offer a wide variety of displays from gear, firearms, vehicles and history. I strongly recommend giving them a visit is your anywhere near the area.
This place is super awesome. My family travelled from Fort Meyers to see this and Im pretty much the only one who has always been interested in history, guns, military, etc., so I really hoped they wouldnt be bored. They thought this place was great! There was just tons of information about the seals that I didnt know and I think they came to have a greater appreciation for some of the most bad*** warriors the world has ever seen.I picked up a couple challenge coins from the gift shop which were pretty neat as well if youre into that kind of thing.
Step back into the beginning and the History of the Navy’s First Warriors- Navy Frogmen. From its conception as Naval Combat Demolition Units to the Underwater Demolition Teams to the modern day Navy SEALS, this historical monument of droves of facts, artifacts and actual equipment that has been used to defend and give our Warriors the cutting edge; its all here! There’s an abundant History mounted throughout the grounds of this Historical site where it all started in 1943. These are also hollowed grounds as a Memorial pays tribute in the remembrance of those that have made the ultimate sacrifice for our Country and our Brotherhood. Come to learn, leave spreading the news about the men, simply best be known as the “Silent Warriors”.
Amazing. Very educational and proud of those who serve. The history of the Seals shows how little we valued special forces over the years but good to know they are here to stay. We need Navy Seals!
This is a great museum. You can’t help but get a feeling of patriotism from viewing all the hardships and sacrifices the SEALs gladly take up to ensure the freedoms of Americans and the world. There are many artifacts from weapons and specialized gear to mock ups of famous SEAL missions to vehicles and boats. All of these are well detailed and displayed. There are short videos on 9/11 and the lead up and description of Operation Neptune’s Spear. There are videos of other missions and even extensive descriptions of failed missions. All of this gives vivid details of the importance of the most elite fighting force in the world and taken together is one of the best museums of its kind in the world.
This was reasonably priced but unfortunately did not open until 12 noon on the morning we called, there was ample free parking across the highway & plenty of exhibts outside so we looked through the open mesh fencing and too photos, shame we couldnt go inside it looks an interesting museum
Worth a go if you live in south Florida and or interested in military history.
Stumbled on this museum purely by chance upon driving past on the way to relatives and immediately re-planned itinerary to include it and was not disappointed. The facility is the epitome of a well laid out dedication to the memories and salute to those past, present and future.Sheepdog respects from this 22 year British military brother.
Andy Brady was an amazing guide for our group of wounded veterans & spouses. He was so knowledgeable and clear spoken. The displays were impressive! Even down to the smell of the inside of the helicopter. Thank you for the pleasant educational experience.
Awesome place. Interactive exhibits and even an outdoor obstacle course you can try.
It is the real story told with the real items. Nothing fake about this place.
The museum shows the history of the original UDT sailors in WWII right up to modern day SEAL operators. The motto “if you want to get closer, you’ll have to join” us true. Great staff and out of this world artifacts!
Had a fantastic experience with extremely knowledgeable staff. Amazing exhibits based around modern day, the Vietnam War and then WW2 seals (frog men)! If you love the Seals, war history or museums in general, I would absolutely recommend stopping by! Ask for Rodger, he is the best and has amazing stories to share.
Second time there and very impressed. Must see museum.
This museum is a great history on the formation of the underwater demolition teams (UDT) from World War II which turned into the seal program during the sixties. It shows how the Navy frogmen trained and lived their life and sometimes gave their life for God and country. This is a great homage to all those who have served in the seals and an inspiration to those to become a Navy SEAL
Well worth the stop. Way bigger and more in-depth.
Very cool place, great family trip, a lot for everyone to see!
This is a great day trip! Great museum and no props or fakes on display.
This is our history of our brave men doing great things to keep our country safe.
Great small museum dedicated to the Navy Seals! If you are within one hour of this placev it is worth the trip! This is the birthplace of the Navy Seal Unit. There is plenty of interesting authentic military memorabilia throughout. The place is immaculately kept up. All the interactive displays are operational. The staff are dedicated!
A must see! This place is amazing! Everything you want to know about the seals, the wall, guns, knifes and all there equipment. Staff is very friendly, the obstacle course is great. Cant say enough about this place. A+

Great demonstration that reminds us all the sacrifices our military has to go through. If you are in the area please visit it, you will be amazed on how cool, interactive and INSPIRING this place is Hooyah!
Great place, great staff, awesome collection,
My husband served in the Navy, so visiting this museum is always fun for our family. We (the adults) love all of the information and things to see, and our children love the photo ops, the hands on exhibits.
Pretty well put together, thoroughly enjoyed our time here, as both Army veterans was a fun way to spend the morning.
Very well planned museum with a lot to see inside and out. Tells as much of the history as it can with videos, equipment, displays, and guides that are very knowledgeable.
Told about the creation of seal teams all conflicts from WWII up to present day

This was one of our favorite activities in FL. This museum is FULL of history and interesting exhibits, their gift shop is also nice. We loved exploring outside and looking at all the Navy transports. There is also beach access in the parking lot for this museum. Plan to spend several hours to take your time and take all of this rich history in. We will visit this on our next trip in this area!
Coming from somebody that was in the Navy and always interested in the Navy Seals, i still learned a lot of things here. Definitely a fun time.

Incredible men, our Navy SEALs! The museum and annual muster is an amazing experience for everyone.
An impressive display of the men, their missions and where they came from. Hands on and interactive displays puts this place over the top.
Just visited with my son. This museum is put together very nicely with great displays showing the history of the Navy Seals from the beginning to present day. Very historic place. Very close with the real NAVY day by day training. Kids will love all the real size choppers, combat trucks, boats and buggies. Nice guns collection. Kids have a real NAVY playground, dont forget to sign the waiver. .... Say NO to the war!!!
A great place to see some of the equipment and training used by the elite navy seals. Everyone from kids to the elderly will enjoy all the many boats and other equipment.
Outstanding museum!! The layout in side is great going backwards in Navy Seal history.
The museum was wonderful and a very good experience moving emotionally and provided an opportunity to see into a world thats normally kept secret. Thank you for your service Navy Seals.
Great way to spend two to three hours. The staff is super helpful. Nice history of the Seals.
In one word...epic. Awesome exhibits, great historical information. Make sure to say hi to Raven the dog on duty. Make sure to hit the O course and get sandy!
Great place to see and to bring out of towners. My visitors are always very impressed. This place makes me proud to be a local. Also the volunteers are very helpful & knowledgeable. Theres a beach access there as well so in case not everyone wants to go inside, they can wait on the beach. But you really should go in. So much to learn about our military history, particularly the history of the Navy Seals. Discounts on admission for military & seniors (65). Gift shop too.
What a fantastic and very interesting place to visit. To learn about the history of this highly skilled group of special operators was a privilege. As a visitor from Scotland with an interest in our own Special Forces, it was a very informative experience. We also got to see a live demonstration of a Navy K9 outside, which was excellent and had a good look around at the various vehicles and boats on display outside within the museum grounds.Id highly recommend paying a visit to the museum and our interactions with with the staff and veterans on duty was top class.
Awseome museum. 2nd visit for us and it was great.
Very cool place to visit. Definitely educational, fun and does a great job illustrating the history and value of our SEALS and Special Operations. Perfect place to take your kids. There are so many neat features including an obstacle course, memorial, and displays from past missions. Very interactive and hands-on museum.
