The park is clean, with quite a few tables for picnicking. However, the covered pavilions are closed, and so are the bathrooms. The beach is great and uncrowded at this time. It costs $6.00 to enter, which may deter summer people from entering. Five stars when pavilions and bathroom is reopened.
I went on a guided kayak tour with April from the Manatee Center out of Lisas Kayaks. Everyone was wonderful. The water was clean, the air smelled fresh, the mangrove trail was like being in a different world. It was magical! I joined Lisas Kayaking Adventures club. They go out 3 times weekly. Looking forward to it!
We went to the park yesterday, usually It’s a very nice park it’s quiet it’s quaint and never too crowded. As we paid the six dollars which is full price we were never told about the inconveniences, these are not the worst things that could happen however, we should have been told this before going into the park and paying full price. When you pay full price for something you expect to get all the amenities included in the price and in this particular case one of the amenities which was the bathrooms was closed the other amenity was the shower that’s outside for you to rinse the sand off your feet from having gone to the beach, When we complained about this to the front office or the entrance of the park we were brushed off with very little regard for our concerns, I don’t mind paying six dollars if I get everything that’s included in the price, but I don’t like to be brushed aside like an old shoe.
This park cost just four dollars to enter and allows you access to miles of trails that are bike friendly. There are several areas to access the beach and showers and restrooms are close by the beach entrances. The beach here was beautiful with lots of wildlife, I saw a raccoon, several types of lizards, and tons of sea birds all over the beach. The sea birds here are a protected species and are abundant and absolutely beautiful.
This was our first visit. We came for a family afternoon, the park happens to be about mid-point between two family groups. We live about an hour north on the coast, and we dont have any parks with pavilions on the water like this. We had pavillion 1, much larger than we needed but we appreciated the shade and location. Also the only one available when we called. We had a great time on a beautiful cool day. A super visit.
We love this park. It has picnic areas and playground and Beach access. Usually a lot of boats are passing through the inlet, but today was breezy and cool. Nice with abundant sun and 65 degrees. Quiet and relaxing on the little Beach area. Across the inlet we could see kites. You can walk over to the ocean and nice wide Beach.
Great beach spot. The waters here are very clear most of the timeThis is were the cleaner water of South Florida starts. From this point south you are in more tropical ocean conditions.
Absolutely love coming to this beach! However, I’m a little disappointed that when the park is at 25% capacity, and people leave the park, they do not allow others to come in. When people are leaving the park in dozens, and no one else is allowed in after they leave, I feel that’s not right. If you are at capacity and people leave, you have room for others to come and enjoy the beach as well. There should be better maintaining of the occupancy so everyone can enjoy the beach and surf as well. If people leave, others should be let in until 25% occupancy or sun down when the park closes. Also, the portable restrooms never have toilet paper.
Beautiful beach. But no showers or bathroom. For 6$il save it and go down the road for free. Also they have showers that work. Please fix your showers and bathrooms.
Awesome place for sunrise or sunsets, cant get enough of taking pictures of this place. Lovely site for an evening or morning walk
Where I was, parking was spread out but still convenient. It depended on where you ended up to set up. Even though you can swim there al Beit carefully, bad undertow at tide changes, a shower area would be nice instead of just a foot washing faucet.
Simply awesome. The water and beaches were clean and refreshing
State Park Not Just BeachyAlso Lots more to explore. There is a small entrance fee. But well worth it.
The inlet is a. Great place to take the family and relax. Clean, well maintained.be sure to bring beach supplies. Weekdays are great not crowded.
Great beaches but had to pay $6 just to get a few pics at the beach
It was beautiful, not to many people on the south side. Trails, beach, playground, pavilions and bathrooms were all very clean. Nice quiet place to spend the day with the family. The water was so much fun we even had a manatee swim right infront of us.
I was born and raised in ft pierce. I knew this Beach before it was a state park. This is the most beautiful beach on the treasure coast. Come see for yourself.
Nice place, $2 a person. Showers closed currently due to covid, such means you take have the beach home with you!
I love this beach / nature reserve, they pay attention to the wild lifes well being. They also keep the beaches clean and they have canopies with grilles so you can make some great food and have fun at the beach.
Quiet on an overcast day, easy access to beach, picnic pavilions, and trails. A map on entry would have been nice. Beach birds were cool to see!
One of the greatest state parks to visit for the purpose of relaxation and inventing your own fun.Catch the crystal clear water coming in at high tide and snorkel the jetty or catch little greenies in the tide pools. Kids love climbing on the jetty rocks, feeling like distant explorers.Travel back toward Dynamite point and youll see families hanging on the playground or the avid fisherman maneuvering their way through the mangroves to catch fish on the bend. Are there surfers, definitely. Some are still learning how to develop a sense of respect for locals, but for the most part you cant beat the surf culture youll find here. The break is definitely worth mentioning. Regardless of the size of the bump, its always been a fun ride.Early morning dawn patrols cant be beat, with a stunning sunrise and teeming wildlife.Nice little shower and bathroom setup at boardwalk 1. Plenty of seclusion from the crowds found at boardwalk 3-4.Park now has an official rental business for paddle boards and bikes. Best money spent if you can book a paddle tour with Eddy Fredryk.
Perfect place. Consistent surf
Busy place but lots of interesting things to see. Enjoyed the park did a little geocaching.
We visited the inlet state park wile visiting family, it was a very fun filled day, it’s a beach surrounded by natural beauty, You have to see it, it’s beautiful
Nice park lots of activities. Beautiful views
One of my favorite surf and fishing spots in Florida
Lovely place.... Beautiful beach, bathroom, good longboard waves. 6$/day parking.
Off the beaten path. Great place to hangout with friends!
Great place to get outdoors.
Good parking and very clean!
This place is paradise. The beach, the events, the service, if I could stay here forever, I would.
Gorgeous state park, with 60% capacity it’s filling up early on weekends so get there early.
Best of both worlds. Hiking trail and Beach. You can enjoy a nice trail less than a mile long that has a variety of foliage (small live oaks, palms, to a rare horned type tree?). Not the longest or most scenic trails in the area, but definitely a great experience. After stretching your legs through the hammock you can enjoy about three different entrances to the beach to cool off, or simply enjoy the views of the inlet, and even catch a glimpse of the jetty accross the way. They even have a kids playground, multiple picnic tables with grills, and public bathrooms for use. It is a about $6 fee per vehicle to get in, but worth the experience for a nice family day outdoors.
Pretty views and relaxing walks with a few places to stop and get something to drink and eat.
Great pubic beach. $6 per vehicle to get in but it is worth it. Parking gets tight on weekends
This is one of my favorite beaches. It is clean and has decent facilities. The water is pretty clear most of the time and its a fun surf, and fishing location.
Beautiful inlet and great waves for surfing and awesome paddleboarding with access to the intercoastal too. My favorite spot on the north shore. ️
Best place to kayak on the treasure coast..beautiful beaches and sandbar one way and miles of mangrove tunnels the other...not to mention the daily dolphins, manatees, sea turtles...the occasional manta ray and more bird species than I can name in a review.
Love this park, its a great place for kids to play and you are right on the inlet so youre on the water as well. Fort pierce does an amazing job in keeping this park clean and up to date. Its always an amazing place to bring your family and unwind and have a good time.
Good Place To Go Walk A Round Good times Good People Good Price is Right I have been working
Great place to gather with family and friends.
Great place to surf in FloridaOnly better in the early morning
Love it here
Wonderful beach located inside the park! Explore the area, bring a picnic, or locate a food truck usually on site. We will definitely return.
Great family beach and park area. Great fishing on inlet side. Plenty of picnic tables. 4-star review bc no lifeguard on duty and showers do not have separate spray for feet. Very inconvenient!
Perfect day for the inlet and beach
Beautiful beach and a shower to wash off. Great place.
Clear water, clean sandy beaches and lots of room to explore
One of the worst places I have ever been to. The bar tender is terrible. Dont ever go there.
Delicious place to go with all the family
Nice place. A lot of seaweed today but otherwise nice
Goregous views, very well kept.
Fun park. Nice inlet for fishing.
Fun place love the boardwalk and pet friendly
$4 for day pass, public restrooms (which were shut down and fenced off during my visit), plenty of parking, not life guarded, trails to beach and to inlet rock shore. Showers for sand removal. Bring bug spray.
AWESOME food, desserts and great staff!
This park is awsome . Beautiful beach and the facilities were very clean . Didnt expect to see a tortoise when we were their .
Had a great time kayaking! Absolutely beautiful!
Nice time at the beach for my birthday.
Fort Pierce Inlet State Park is a great place to visit if you want to go a day to the beach. It is very well kept, and the facilities at the beach are very clean.
My new favorite Beach ️️ I will be back
Paradise...
Nice state park. Much easier to get out into the ocean than at Sebastian Inlet... seems to be deeper with fewer things on the bottom to create the rolling waves you find at Sebastian Inlet State Park. Caught some big Jacks across from the Coast Guard station on Sunday
There is no question, this undiscovered Wonderland has one of the most beautiful expances of Beach and dunes as you will ever find anywhere in the state of Florida.
Clean - relaxing beautiful beach
Had so much fun its so beautiful got to swim with dolphins as we swimmed
Beautiful day at the cove
My family and I love this park and beach. It has beaches on the ocean and inlet sides. In parts of the inlet side, you can swim across a small channel to a beach on an island where hermit crabs and other sea life roam. There are also several pavilions and grills fir cookouts. Our family has made many fun memories at this park.
I have a good experience and beautiful place
Beautiful park. Beach access, trails, playground.
Beautiful Florida state park located on the north side of the inlet protected from development. Very gradual dropoff on ocean side and soft baby powder sand. June and July water can be most days very clear and clean. Love the wildlife seen bobcats, bunnies, black snakes and gopher tortoises on the trails. Many varieties of plant life typical of undeveloped beaches on Atlantic coastal side .
Rented kayaks, reasonably priced, helpful staff. Beautiful area for kayaking through the mangroves, saw plenty of wildlife and lots of sand bars for swimming.
Had a great time at this wildish beach, enjoyed nature trails with a toddler and saw lots of birds!
Friendly people. Clean and not crowded
Love it clear water no waves bbq and jet ski
It was good I will be back
Normally 5-stars but keep in mind there is no longer a lifeguard. Because of that the beach can be overrun with surfers.
This was my first time visiting the park. Its absolutely beautiful! I will definitely be back.
Great spot.. Saynomore!
Beautiful bridge and park.
Beautiful place, peaceful
Beautiful Day, in inlet.
Beautiful. So much to do! Playground, nature trail, sandy beaches, what more could you want!
I wish I could go back and catch some fish and I will save budget for it
Very beautiful beautiful place I will definitely come back again
We absolutely love this park its great for smaller children. The trail to the beach is beautiful and sometimes you can see turtles. You have to pay admission I think its like $6 or something not too bad. They have showers and clean bathrooms and stalls to change in. If youre visiting the area its a definite must-see.
Great place for family outing
Excellent beach park.
Need maintaince red ant are bad tables are old.
Awesome kayaking, seen some nice snook and dolphins.
Beautiful park, saw turtles and armadillos and my little one loved the playground.
Beautiful place. Amazing beach.
