We had a great day and I would be giving a five except once we got down to the stop at 16th St. fisheries we got passed up by water taxi going to the stop that goes to Margaritaville. I ran out to the dock and tried to wave to the captain but he never looked over and kept on going. Then he came back by as another water taxi went by and we were waving at both of them and they both pointed each other and kept going and left 6 of us standing there. I called the number on the water taxi sign which is right there in front of the restaurant and Valerie got on the phone and started talking number three to number seven and number four the number five and I had to say please stop and say the places I don’t know your numbers like you I don’t work there. All she wanted to do was read the times and stops to me and get off the phone. I said don’t you have a VHF radio or iPhone and she snapped at me hold on. I almost hung up because it was 10 minutes later I think she was hoping I would hang up and she came back on the phone and said the captain said he stopped and pick up several people there at 16th St. fishery. That was not true. The captain of the water taxi that drove past 16th St. fisheries at 3:38 PM yesterday Sunday lied. We had paid our bill and we’re running out to the dock and he blew by without even looking. Valerie you need to get some training or care more about your job. We rode all the ferry’s thru Fort Lauderdale to Margaritaville and back and all of the captains and mates were great and we had fun so I would highly recommend it except for the captain that lied to us and Valerie. PS... almost forgot to mention we were standing there for 20 minutes or so we’re going to miss our 4 o’clock to Margaritaville when a water taxi stopped at Margaritaville and then came right over to our dock to pick up at 16th St. fisheries. I told him we needed to get over there he said sorry he was heading north. His first mate backed him up and just said sorry we have to wait and I said it’s only 100 feet over there. I started to get a little upset and said isn’t there any flexibility with this company and Captain Bob stopped me and said come on and get in and I’ll take you over there. A Big thank you to Captain Bob around 3:55 PM at 16th St. fishery which I think is stop three. Without him we would’ve missed or 4 o’clock to Margaritaville. It only runs every hour so we would’ve missed Margaritaville all together which was our main purpose of riding all of the water taxis.

It was nice ride with water taxi.. it was nice ride..

The Water Taxi is a great way to enjoy the water, move from spot to spot and learn a bit about the homes, etc. along the route. If you are on a schedule, this is not the mode of transportation to use as it doesnt exactly run on schedule.
