Great place away from all the noise. Love the Adirondak chairs, shower by lot before getting in car and not a bunch of people. Only drawback is lot holds approx 12 cars so luck of the draw to get a space especially on the weekends. Ideal way to visit would be to bike in:)

Easy reef access, but unguarded, so swim at your own risk. Quiet neighborhood and well kept grounds. Nice family beach park

Love those chairs by the beach. Especially at night with wind, stars, moon, fast moving tropical clouds, and nice neighborhood behind me. Great place to sit and think about meaning of life and insignificance of human existence on the scale of the universe.

Ive been scuba diving at Vista Park for over 6 years. This large Patch Reef is home to a lot of marine life. But the best reef is beyond this one. Ive seen huge schools of tarpon here, green sea turtles, sergeant majors, angelfish, various types of crab, large coral heads and more here. If you swim past the patch reef, theres a nice size ledge where Ive seen octopus.

Nice location by the beach with chairs and a shower area...felt a bit sketchy though because there were random homeless people hanging around but they were not rude. I am just protective of my little ones.

This is a residential park so parking its limited. You need to pay by meter. Its nice and quiet, there are some chairs at the park entrance, and there is a little shower where you can wash yourself when you are leaving. No bathroom near but very close to Las Olas, where you can find plenty of food to eat.

We love Friday nights at the beach.

Nice small ocean front park that not too many people know about. About 20 parking spots, shower, nice beach chairs provided. The I-to-I race was held here for 2017, see competitor photo.

A great place to unwind, swim, read a book, or say hi to the locals. Ive officiated weddings here, seen dolphins, manatee, and sat in the stillness of the evening as the sun slowly sank behind me.

Nice little park with easy access to the beach. However, must get there before the park opens the lot to ensure a spot.

Its a great beach, the area has showers and a few chairs. Be aware that parking is very limited in terms of number of spots and also time. You can only stay 3 hours, between 8am and 8pm.

Pleasant to stop by morning or night to sit in Adirondack chairs and take in the view. Lots of locals from the neighborhood. Kite surfers and dogs add to the fun. Parking fees by machine in the lot.

I love snorkeling here at Vista Park I love going out on the reef its a beautiful sight to see its almost as if being on a different planet in a different world so many fish the sea octopus tarpon all kinds of marine just a magical experience that I think every person in this world should at least try one time. And if they go once on a clear day theyll be hooked and they will want to go as much as they can that day forth. My first time going out Im not going to lie I was a little scared thinking that the water was getting deep and there might be some sharks out there but then once I started looking around all the marine life and freediving down get a better look at things forget about it once the fear leaves you its just magical just try it once put it on your bucket list or whatever but I am here to tell you its a beautiful sight to see and experience

Why dont Ft Lauderdale beaches have public restrooms like the beaches in California?! Beach was not kept up like the main beaches. Homeless kind of put the nail in the coffin on this place.

Which was very dirty covered with a lot of seaweed. Moldy rotting seaweed probably 10 in thick period in infested with sand fleas.

Look for 5ft. tall Aladdins lamp rock straight off stair case,end of sand-begining of reef. Tropicals,nurse shark, barracuda hang out. Golf balls on way out,a bonus. I put them on the rock as an offering.Sinkholes I described at Loggerhead could possibly be here-sorry it was a long time ago!ITS WORTH THE EFFORT! K

Lots of sea weed and a few man-o-wars. Easy access.

This was an ok dive. The reef is at least 300 yards out. You need to prepare. Dive flag and possibly a flotation device. I was under the impression the reef was accessible from beach.

Good showers but it does not drain properly,No shades, you are prohibited to put up a hammock, no water fountain, no bathrooms, but the parking meter works like a charm...

Vista Park is the BEST for an Awesome beach experience for locals only due to limited parking!
