The park was completely quiet and it was a good place to take my dog to use the restroom before walking down the Riverwalk and the path down the New River comment through the historic areas, and then in the loop back down the Las Olas bars and restaurants.Im a resident here and I never knew the name of this park before I dont think its supposed to then you wear.Theres parking along the side of the road and a big parking garage for the main library.
A cute little park. Basically a little spit of land on a corner. Not huge or stunning, but charming in its own way.
Open park downtown on the river. The fountain is nice and the stage gives it flavor when theres a band playing. Nice entrance way to riverwalk for dogwalkers or just for a stroll. Some exercise equipment and good views too.
As a native how can you not love GGP. Then again even if youre not a native how can you not love it. There are lakes, bison, windmills, parks, trails...the list goes on....Its a little piece of heaven in the middle of the city.
Lovely park, but not without some individuals who permanently stay there
This place is cool and sits off the water.. Theres a place to sit but no electrical outlets for the techies...if youre looking for a place to enjoy your lunch this little patch of grass is clean and doable... OBTW be kind to the strangers who frequent the park the dont have homes yet... #Homelessness is not a disease
Its a park.....grass is green so I gave it 5 stars
Quite, clean, great place to bring kids and pets
A relaxing place to enjoy views of Fort Lauderdale.
Very nice park on the riverwalk for afternoon relaxation
Nice and peaceful here
It’s a great place to walk, see and be seen. Family friendly place with many shops, restaurants and bars. A few steps away from Las Olas Blvd and close to the river.
Fun to walk around in. Water taxi are a must try.
Have to find parking and Its off the river.
It was so nice and peaceful
In a nice surrounding area in walking distance to restaurants and stores.
On riverwalk and across from a nice museum. Nice place when they have events
Did the 5K run here. It was very clean and fun to do.
Nice place to hang out with fruends and family to catch some Sun Rays and enjoy dining.
The park is small but clean and a cute area to have a picnic. Not many tables so I recommend you bring either your own chair or blanket. Also dont try to paddle board from there as the boat traffic is heavy even on a Monday... Lol!!
M very good parking well lit area handicap access
Great place to see especially during the holidays the decorations bring it more to life
Lovely water fountain and little trails, but the park does attract a bit of homeless population at times, and there is a fair bit of rubbish in the gardens.
Ft. Lauderdale has a few great festivals in the park, and the St. Paddys Day Festival is one of them. Theres a great parade, and the park is filled with Irishy kitsch and vendors offering good food -- both traditional and Caribbean style. For families, the best part is the free carnival attractions for the kids. Theres also the green foundation and a virtually limitless supply of green Guinness. Grab your green gear and head over to the park for a whole day of fun!
Went to watch my daughters concert in this park. I love how it has a covered stage so youre out of the Sun.
Beautiful walking trail. Lots of restaurant selections and some cool museums too.
First time doing this color run here. I wish it was a bit more organized. Why have a start time if you dont require it
Some unatendet persons with apparent serious mental illness in the park. .
Climate Strike...I support the students, and this venue was perfect! Steps, a stage, and shade all by the water!
I like that the homeless can take baths in the big fountain. There needs to be a bathroom set up in the park so the homeless can go potty in a more sophisticated manner as opposed to just relieving thier bowls and bladders in the park. The stench of urine and feces is not overwhelming however; still present. Give the homeless a bit of dignity and put some toilets in the park.
This is a beautiful city park that is in between the New River and Las Olas Boulevard it runs along Andrews Ave to the west right at the foot of the Andrews Ave Bridge. It has beautiful palm trees, shady park benches and a band shell with a large open green area and it has state of the art outdoor work out equipment. There is even a GREAT Jazz Festival in the fall. That being said... now for my local tips.Stay away from this park it is loaded with homeless people that are schizophrenic and have mental issues. Also the park is a hangout for convicts that have just been released from the county jail just on the other side of the river. It really is a shame the city gives no help or a place for these individuals to go. The cops run them off the beach because of the tourists. So the poor individual has no other place to goThe city runs the charity organizations out of the park so as not to have even more homeless in the park. They are just trying to feed these poor individuals. All this in the shadow of multi-million-dollar Condominiums that run along the New River. The area is absolutely beautiful Las Olas Boulevard has beautiful restaurants, chic shops and clubs and a lovely Museum right across the street. You would be a lot safer in a different area rather then this park. If you find this review helpful please like my review so other people will read it. Thanks and stay safe.
Beautiful park! 3 different playgrounds for children. Clean and well maintained. Quiet place. Nice place to visit at times.
It should be a lot nicer when they finish the construction in the area
Lots of happenings, including monthly Jazz brunch
Very quaint. The area reminds me of the way Ft Lauderdale was when I was growing up.
A It wouldve been great if I was able to meet a beautiful woman but no luck so far.Forever alone I guess..
Just an place to sit an relax nothing really to do. Alot of homeless chill there. But the river walk by there is nice
Nice park to visit. Tons of parking all around. We came to run 5k at the Corporate Run.
Great place to go for any tourist or local. Beautiful waterfront scenery.
Very pretty. A lot of vagrants but overall nice experience.
Beautiful area, unfortunately its full of bums and urban outdoorsmen Keep your eyes open as your enjoying the park.
Love the dogs day.
Great park with amphitheater in the heart of Downtown Fort. Lauderdale. Annual events include, The Day Of The Dead. Ample parking and located along Riverwalk, a walkway adjacent to the Tarpon river that connects to many restaurants, bars and stores.
End of chanukah festival with chabad
Awesome little park in the heart of downtown Ft Lauderdale. It has a complete workout area with all kinds of machinery to get a basic workout in. The park has an amphitheater stage the projects onto a grass field. I was recently at the park for Yogafest. Many weekends you will find some sort of city event going on in the park here. With lots to see all within walking distance of the park, its worth checking out while in downtown Ft Lauderdale.
Great..this is a nice small park in downtown Fort Lauderdale. It has a nice water fountain and a covered place for live music. Its right near the river were boats come up and down. A good place to relax and do exercise in a large grass field. This park is usually during weekends with different activities is food and music.
No parking available
Great location on the New River and a good walking path from the PFC to Las Olas.
Amazing view and cheap parking
Always a nice visit to Florida
Great area for medium sized events. The ground is a little wobbly and ATM, although only a couple of blocks away (Wells Fargo), is not easily reachable because of frequent construction and road closures
Too much construction and if you have any food you will be swarmed with flies
Great place to relax and have a quick lunch
Nice to watch the boats on the waterway
Great crowd and great views from the river walk nearby
Always been events here. People had fun here.
Good food; cold beer
Great day and place to walk
Diverse, exciting and the weather was great. All they need is a basketball court.
Beautiful scenery and it near the water
Its a nice place but a lot of vagrants hang out there!
Awesome
River walk is so pretty ️
The redevelopment project in downtown Fort Lauderdale is going to be beautiful when its all finished. Im just glad that I had a small hand in building the buildings. My company do a lot work in the downtown area.
Attended the festival known as the Caribbean Festival for the gay people I went to the Puerto Rican tents to order some food and the price is outrageous they charge what it would normally cost in a restaurant which would include a waiter or waitress also the people on the stage kept using profanity which I found a fence of considering there was a lot of minor children about
My favorite walk...area is very nice..safe
It was lovely day at Bubier Park and a nice spot to relax and enjoy the view.
Great
The best place to be!
Its small City Park. Theres the Andrews bridge next to it.
Great little park in downtown. Right on las olas, classic spot. They have added workout machines by the bridge.
Nice place to relax!
Its a great place right in downtown! Nice to walk around.
A favorite of ours is attending the Irish Festival and Parade, which ends at this park. Tents, Vendors, Concerts, great music and food, the Irish Parade is a unique experience no one should miss!
Im a Riverwalk ambassador volunteer on Saturdays at Riverwalk information booth at what is now known as Huizenga Plaza. Its a beautiful small Park with a beautiful fountain. There is however lots and lots of big construction projects going on all around it. Downtown Fort Lauderdale is going to be where the action is in about another year or so.
Great view.
Went for the Color Run with friends had a great time nice place to visit great fountain
We were here for our boat ride tour.
I love this area its so picturesque!!! I enjoy having lunch along the New River Waterways.
Work out area, always events going on here.
Great space to host city-sponsored activitities
This is a small park next to las Olas Boulevard, is easy to locate beautiful for small parties or events, very accessible nice walk way next to the river and close to famous River Walk shops and restaurants.
Beautiful park to spend time with kids.
