This used to be a great place back in the day. Then a new owner came in, painted everything grey, and kept the lights turned up. It now has zero ambience. I gave it two stars because it still serves alcohol and the bartenders are usually friendly.

Jesters is a local dive bar that has been around for decades and is well known in the area. Bartenders are always friendly and mix a good drink. The clientele is varied and can be a bit eccentric at times but they are good about maintaining the peace. Despite the recent updates to the bar, it still shows its years. If you are looking for a few cheap, fast drinks with a few games of darts or billards, this is a great spot to check out. The bar is conveniently open until 4am and they also have a package store connected to the back bar. Smoking is permitted inside the bar in all areas.If you are looking to take someone out on a romantic date I would recommend somewhere else first, unless you or your date have been here before or they are a fan of dive bars.Jesters has a certain special charm that is all its own. Many would call this spot an institution in Fort Lauderdale.

A great neighborhood bar, friendly people, friendly bartenders. Darts and pool, a lot of fun. Holly is the best bartender there. Luke is the janitor. If you mention his name they laugh. No free drinks for mentioning his name.

Cool bartenders. Like the late hours so the partying can go into the wee hours. Gotta stop by to say Hi to Tara, the coolest bartender in the business! Only real negative is that cigarette smoking is allowed.

If youre away from home or a local the feel at home vide is consistent. I enjoy the fun staff and the awesome possum pie people Ive met there. Definitely one of my preferred adult watering holes

Stayed in the Marriot after, needed a pint after a long flight from England, called in Jesters and we were made most welcome, friendly atmosphere, and enjoyed the beer. Would have been 4 star but we do not smoke. Would visit again.
