New to town and this place is just dope! Went there with some friends on a Friday and had an awesome time! The drinks were a solid deal and the hookah was great for the mood. The bar is an awesome place for nightlife and has an awesome vibe!

I know this is a great place to see and be seen. Maybe I’m just too old to care about that. I absolutely care about cleanliness and this place is gross. I know south FL has bugs but roaches crawling around and in the tables? Yuck!

The atmosphere is great, but the hookahs are weak. If you’re a professional hookah smoker don’t expect amazing hookahs here. I love the music and atmosphere here though

Took a trip out to Fort Lauderdale, and had to stop here for old times sake!!! The food was ok, but I came for the drinks!! I had the mango margarita in the big glass well worth the stop! I also ordered the blackened salmon over a zucchini salad, yummy!

Watch your check... They add a service charge (tip) automatically. Other than that its a decent night out.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. We waited to be seated and the hostess seated 3/4 parties before us. When we eventually were seated our order took about 45 minutes to get to us. I ordered a Vegan burger but got a meat burger instead. The food was mediocre at best. The manager Juan seemingly didn’t care after we voiced our displeasure on several occasions. Don’t go. It’s not worth the time or the money. If I could give 0 stars I would.

SAVE YOUR RECEIPT. My second visit in two weeks and on both occasions the total amount was altered to reflect a larger tip and a different total.If the establishment alters the agreement (receipt) in any way without knowledge/permission, this constitutes fraud. I have opened two fraud claims with my credit card and by doing so, the entire transaction was credited back to me. Thanks for dinner Rock Bar but shame on you.

Food is not all that great. Drinks could be better but if you are hungry just do simple foods like fries, burgers, etc. But great view if you sit outside. Can also be hot if you go during mid day.

Impossible to contact, phones are never answered. They charged my credit card twice, so basically paid over $100 for one drink. Maybe if someone sees this they’ll contact me but other than that will absolutely never go back, poor customer service.

John Taffer would have a field day with this place. Your called the rock bar and all you played was hip hop. And you played it so loud you couldnt talk to the person across or beside you. The margarita tasted like straight sour mix. Nasty. Never again

Each time I go the crowd gets less and less hype. The DJ just ignored our requests and the chicks werent even that fine. Eww! Maybe they wouldve had a better audience if their DJ was on point. This place is on a downward spiral, unfortunately. So is their food!

Right on the beach with great music and fantastic staff. The food is amazing. I had the steak tacos and was blown away. The sauce thats provided is a bit spicey but flavorful. If youre in the area I recommend you check Rock Bar out.

Drinks were DELICIOUS! Wings were good to my husband. Fish and chips were okay! All food was really fresh but the fish almost reminded me of “fish sticks or Mrs. Paul’s or Gorton’s”. Will definitely return!! BEAUTIFUL view and restrooms were clean!

What a beautiful venue! Right on the Fort Lauderdale beach! They have an amazing deal of 2 45oz margaritas for $35. I had the “fish of the day”. Today it was sashimi grade Grouper, I ordered it seared and blackened. It was accompanied with a fresh vinaigrette salad, rice, and potatoes. Just a beautiful experience. Great music. They have Hookah also.

I came here during spring break so it was PACKED but there was vibes. The waiter came to us as soon as we got in and got our drinks super quickly. Though we had to pay before we got food, it all worked out in the end. The food was decently seasoned and very yummy! I will definitely be back!

Nice chill atmosphere.. The music gets better after 9pm. They hookah. Food, drinks, and the option to vibe outside. The hookah coal lasted a very long time and you get 1 more coal. I ordered nachos and it was large and full of meat. The sofas to sit on outside are nice and soft. Nice spot to hang out with friends or go on a date. .

Cool bar with a chill environment. Went with a party of 4 and were seated fairly quickly despite it being a Saturday evening. Drinks were pretty good and the margaritas for the price of 2 for $27, were worth the price.My biggest complaint was the service. We had to wait a while before our orders were taken. We had to ask our server multiple times for things before receiving them (I.e. waters, more drinks) and had to ask a different server for our check because we didnt know where our server was and had been waiting a while. Imagine our surprise when we got our tab with a 36% SERVICE CHARGE. For a total of 6 drinks for 4 people. Completely ridiculous. Do not recommend.

Good fresh food very pricey but I guess you’re probably paying for the ambiance and location. Buy on get one is not that great of a deal when the drinks are $24.00 for one. Overall it was ok but I probably would not go back. Tip was already included and our total for apps two beers and coffee was 240.00. Way too much for what we had. I could have went to meat market and had a three course meal for two for three price. Our beer spilled because of the spaces in between the table and the server said he would bring us another.. he did.. then added it to our bill!!! Really!!

Rockbar was amazing. It is a huge one stop shop with a great atmosphere. We ate here at the bar, then went out to the patio for shisha, which was huge. No one bothered us to leave that area even after our drink was done. And then we went to the club area which was large, a bit empty. There was no cover and the music was great. I dont blame the club for being a tad empty, the weather was a bit off season.

This was a cool beach front bar, with a pretty good happy hour. We got the the big margaritas and they tasted pretty good. The food was pretty average, but the atmosphere and the service we got was really good. I’ve been going out a ton all over Miami and South Florida so the mandatory gratuity is annoying because most servers don’t really care much about providing good service. Would come back.

Absolutely love this spot, been here many times over many years. This place is awesome. I dont even care how much it cost it is well worth every penny. Thank you for such great service. Ambience, vibe and everything across the street over viewing the ocean amazing. Our servers were wonderful thank you. Hookah was good lasted hours on 2/3 coals which was beautiful. Our fish bowls are amazing had watermelon, and mango and my friend knocked half of our fish bowl over so our waiter made us a very brand new one. We had a side order of corn, fries, quesadillas, and a whole red snapper so delicious ! Thank you guys. Definitely will be back for sure. I was loving life.

Worst service ever. Went there to eat and have a drink waiting 15 min in line to enter and finally when we manage to be served they said last call to order food without clarifying they going to close. Food arrives and they said we just have three minutes to eat. The waiters come and lift us from the table and tell us to go out with food and drinks. Not recommended to any body

So, the place sells large daiquiri and margarita drinks in souvenir cups to take home They also sell regular drinks like this “old fashioned “the drink was so so. Arthur got the fish bowl size drink and it was equally mediocre. Th flood, was wonderful though. We both ate sushi raw. We liked it very much. We were not sick two hours after so yes I recommend the place but they hookah here. I don’t like hookah.

The drinks are on point with bogo. The Ultimate margarita is the drink to have. The food was abundant with lots to share. I have the Tempura shrimp and was very surprised on the quantity of the shrimp.

This is a cool spot in Fort Lauderdale right across the street from Fort Lauderdale beach. The seating is outdoors, either at a bar or on the designated dining section. The inside is large and thats where you can dance the night awayThe DJ plays a nice variety of music that many can enjoy. They also offer hookahs of at least 10 different flavors that cost approximately $30. There is also a 45oz red or white Sangria that can be purchased for approximately $16. The food isnt bad either and the rates are reasonable. FYI though the restaurant/bar charges 15 percent to your bill for a convenience fee (which the waiter said is because they are located on the beach).

Good place to sit by the busy road and people watch. Feels a bit congested and the food is quite pricey for a okay taste, I guess its a premium we pay for the location.

Awesome place with great music, good food and awesome drinks! Our bartender from Spain was hot! Oh yeah, she made excellent drinks too! Id go back just to watch and conversate, great energy! Bring your paycheck because you have to pay for parking and nothing in the rock bar is cheap...except the bathroom guy, he works for tips and has a wide selection of toiletries. Definitely going back on my next visit!

Gigantic margaritas for $25 for 2. We ordered one each and it was hard to finish so next time Id order one to share. The ceviche was huge as well.I think if you order margaritas then better without any snacks. I could barely walk, was too full from the huge portions.The staff very friendly and the service quick.They also have live music band.Very nice place

There is nothing wrong with this place per se, this review is based on personal taste. Rock Bar is situated along A1A in Fort Lauderdale directly across from the beach. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating gives you beautiful views of the beach and strip, indoor seating is more of a night club feel with glow in the dark paintings. This place along with most others on the strip are all about the alcohol and jumbo size drinks and bar style food which is not my vibe and I would not have visited this establishment except for a friend who wanted to check it out. Both food and service were average and food prices run high. A 16-18% gratuity is add to your bill on the strip which I feel removes any incentives to provide exceptional service and this place only solidified my conclusion. If you like the party atmosphere you will probably like this place.

No social distancing, Tight seating and waited almost an hour after waiter took our order and still didnt get our food. Manager came and told us they had a big order way we were left waiting that long. We waited 15mins more then told them to cancel it were leaving.

Drinks were ok. It was a slow night when were were there. We had the sampler appetizer. Shrimps were very good. Onion rings too. Chicken was ok. The 2 for 1 margaritas were kinda week. I had the strawberry wife had the sour apple. Mine was good. In the sweet side. She said hers was very sour. All in all good. 3.5 stars only because it was kinda dead but we left around 9pm thats why.

Went the other day. Ordered salmon, rice and salad which is what the menu said but what arrived was salon, potatos with pepper and onions, and salad. The waiter says o sorry they changed the menu but didnt update it. That is a huge problem. The taste of the potatos made me sick and lose my appetite. How can you serve something that is not what the menu says. I dont like peppers and onions. Then took about 10 min to bring rice and the potatos were still on my plate. I was disappointed because my partner then waited for me to eat ruining there meal. I called the restaurant afterwards to complain but no one answers the phone. The tables also are very low more like footrests so you have to bend over to eat. They then put a corona virus charge plus a 15% gratuity in the check.

Last night the music selection was not great at all. Ive been there on other nights and its been fine, not great but fine. But last night it seems as thought there was no effort with the music slection. And the bartenders were taking way too long to fix even simple drink orders

They dont have any specials on alcohol (doubles) and add a automatic 18% gratuity on all drinks. Go to blondies or beach place. Their creative cocktails suck...all juice and low grade alcohol.

The drinks is nice but the manager SHE is so RUDE. Never mentioned the price of the drinks tried to overcharge me.. these Jumbo margaritas were buy one get the other free. But I was charged $50 dollars and then when I asked for my second drink to go. I got it in a cup but she wouldnt even give me a lid. Had to go to a restaurant next door for a lid.

Huge place! Im sure during spring break this place is packed. They have giant margaritas and buckets of beer, so definitely good for groups! If you go during winter, they have heat lamps so you can still enjoy outdoor seating.

Took easily 15 minutes to be tended to and my server hardly knew the menu with 37 items of food.(YIKES) The view is naturally beautiful with a chill vibe and well mannered staff this place could have 5 stars. But that service and general upkeep with trash between cracks filled with goo definitely ruin the experience.

The staff is very rude and the manager I don’t think if I can called her as a restaurant manager she have no idea about management or hospitality at all. They don’t care about customer Services or anything. DON’T GO THERE!!

Nice place with excellent food, the service staff are not in your face all the time which is nice for the most part. If you are the sort of person who needs immediate service all the time you may be disappointed.the only negative is they have a service charge which is beyond the tip.....and just talked to my waitress and dumped half of my review. The service charge is 15%, 5 percent of that does go to the restaurant the other 10 percent goes to the waitress. (Or waiter) From what she said the beach tourists are not great tippers and tend to shaft their waiters. Rock bar went from a 4 to a 5 in the course of writing this, so far I have nothing to complain about and will continue coming back.

The place is awesome, good environment, music and food. In the lunch time is full and lots of people, even waiting to have a seat. I try the beers but they doesnt have a lot of varieties, it would be nice to see more. Anyway I recommend to enjoy the view and have a good time with relatives

Large bar, beach side. Nice hookah menu and available to serve both day and night. Recommended stop, just wish I would have stayed late night to experience the club at its fullest.
