One of my favorite places in Fort Lauderdale!!! Games are fun. Drinks and music are good! Only 4 stars because, well, COVID. There’s now $10 cover.
The place is great. Good drink variety and simple but good pressed sandwiches. The games are open for free game.
Ahhhh... Video game bars... I feel like at home when I come to this type of places. Friendly staff, lots of games and the patrons are cool AF.. lots of memorbilia to look at. Place is neat.. and its kinda hidden. For those who like to be private and secluded. Definitely will come back with my group
Last night was fun...the bartender was funny because I told him I didnt want cheese he joke about i didnt no what I was missing long story short I had the cheese and im feeling it later....I will be back again but not having cheese in my sandwich....the drink was the bomb lol haha thats also the name ....I didnt take a picture because I was to busy drinking it...but its a cool place to be....thank you
Amazing place! Always a fun time! Cant wait to go back. :-)
Video arcade with old games. Nice bar. Fire epoxy floor with blue flake. Whoever did the floor in there are Gs.
This place is a lot of fun. Tons of games, tons of creative drinks, and really friendly staff.
First bar Ive ever gone to and it was super awesome! The bartenders were nice and helped me choose drinks that I would enjoy. The games are super retro and fun.
Loved this place! So fun. They have all the arcades of the 90s, pinball, ski ball, and video games. The drink selection is great too. The graffiti art outside makes a statement as well. We were looking for something to do after dinner late on a weekday and Glitch didnt disappoint. The arcades were free too minus pinball! Such a great place.
Came to Glitch for a friends birthday celebration and had a great time. The staff is personable and the retro games bring back childhood memories. I have already recommended to friends and family to pay a visit.
A lot of old games, its cool they are all free. The drinks are a bit more than other places but you get free games so it evens out. There is not a lot of seating and the bar is a bit small for the size of the rest of the place. The music was great, 80s and 90s when I went.
This place is AWESOME! buy a drink = get a wrist band and play video games all night!!! Best part is they card upon entry so you know theyre arent any children running around. The drinks are great too! Take a minute and read the rules above the door & I dare you not to piss yourself with laughter!
I absolutely love this place! Free arcade games? YES PLEASE!!!! I went here for a double date and will definitely be coming back once everything is opened back up.
Great bar, great atmosphere and a great staff! Love this place!
Soooo many hipsters... Cant get on any games
Wide variety of games to play and enjoy. Music was pretty good, it tend to become too loud in some points. There is a good amount of drinks, but the price was a little steep. There is also a good food truck to be able to purchase some food and some beverages as well. Also in the same vicinity is a good place if you have a sweet tooth.
One of the best bars in Fort Lauderdale. What is unique about this place is the variety of arcade and other games found here. You can just buy a drink and chill and play any games for free. The ambience is awesome, one of its kind and the place sends good vibes. Great place for youngsters.
This is an amazing place. I really liked their decor and they have a cool selection of games to play. I recommend arriving early but its definitely worth checking out.
Awesome concept with free to play games. Very good priced drinks and selection of craft cocktails. Friendly owner and staff. Been coming to this place for the past 2 years. A food truck is usually there on the weekends too.
Nice Staff, very clean, and have lots of choices. They had Strawberry Cider which Ive never found at a bar..Cool place
Fun spot to play arcade games and grab a beer. I love playing melee but wish they would fix some of the controllers. The fries from the food truck outside are on point
Highly recommended. Friendly atmosphere. Great drinks and lots of games to play and interact with peers.
I visit this bar a couple times a month. The bartenders are all great, the go to great lengths to provide a great experience for you. Can be a bit crowded but thats what you get, when youre an awesome establishment.
I absolutely love this bar!!!! The nostalgia is so think you cant help but feel it. From the funny drink names to the mini dance floor and everything in between, I absolutely loved this place
Always chill environment and people. Drinks are perfectly priced and bartenders are so cool when their not working theyll have a beer and chop it up. Aldo there is usually a food truck right outside with great food
This is an awesome bar/arcade/club thatll appeal to anyone who loves any of those 3 things. The drink selection is huge and very impressive, especially the craft beer selection which is amazing for beer lovers. The arcade machines are all free and have unlimited credits which lets you play them for as long as you want. Overall, this is a super fun place and Id highly recommend it here.
Fantastic place. Friends of mine from Florida recommended this place, and i am really glad they did. Friendly staff, great diversity in beer and retro gaming. Whats not to like?
Id say this is a really cute place to go on a date or to kick it with friends. They have an extensive beer collection, lots of space, and a DJ booth.. they were playing music and videos from the 80s when I was there, which was really cool and went along with the retro theme. My favorite part was their attention to detail when it came to the decor. There was one team member in particular, I forgot her name but she has a short, asymmetrical bob and her face was beat - she made sure we were doing alright all night, but not in a pushy or annoying way, and we even had a casual conversation outside that felt pretty genuine (thanks for being real, girl!) Good luck yall.
This place is exactly what you need when you want to go on a fun date or meet up with friends. Theres food trucks outside the bar if you get hungry and they have awesome arcade games. Such a fun environment for FREE
It was pretty cool. Games are like the Wawa air pump: it may be free, but it definitely might not work. Though, Im convinced enough to go back when Tekken is up and working.Outside, food truck, bomb dot com. Great customer service!Inside, a bit crowded but not uncomfortable. Took a while to get a bartenders attention, even with a slow bar.The concept: buy a drink for free games all night. If youre not drinking, buy a wrist band to play games all night for 7 bucks, (not sure why I was charged more though).I chose to sober up from a previous wedding celebration. The bartenders lady friend told my bf to just buy a draft (many cool points for her). He said Okay, Ill take a beer, but the bartender shrugged and handed us the wristbands. If your not drinking, dont feel pressured to. But it seems you may not be treated to a great night here if you dont.
Great arcade bar. Free games with a variety which made it fun for our entire group. I loved it here and look forward to coming back
I cant say enough positive things about Glitch. Its selection of arcade games, both vintage and ridiculously current, offer hours of enjoyment for video game enthusiasts and those who claim to not enjoy playing games. Who doesnt love a solid round of Skee-Ball? Games aside, Glitch mixes up some of the most legit craft cocktails Ive had the pleasure to imbibe. From the refreshing cucumber goodness of a vodka drink named Phil Collins to the decadent blackberry pureed John Wick, the offerings are complex, delicious, and affordable. Glitchs bartenders can mix up beautiful classics as well if you are more of a staple martini fan. Jason and Sam will instantly make you feel like regulars as they serve up a robust lineup of draft and bottled beers as well. One would have high hopes for a building with a Ziggy Stardust-era David Bowie mural on the exterior, and Glitch absolutely follows through with flying (8-bit) colors.
The whole concept if super cool, they have arcade tournament days, awesome happy hour, very cool vibe of the place and bar tenders. Would be cool if they had food on the menu to go with the beers, however theyre totally with you bringing your own grub. Definitely a place you can frequent.
Great place nice . Loved the games, loved neat., collection of signs, toys, memorabilia, about the walls! Great bar, nice selection of beer,& liquor. Plenty to do while you are enjoying it..
I love this place. The atmosphere, the drinks. Any 80s baby would love this place. Or if you just have a love for games and beer, this is the place to be.
My first visit here. I was impressed because the place was well put together. Variety of drinks for any taste. Food truck. Chill enviroment
Dude at the front door just tried to charge me a $10 cover fee at 4:30pm on a Sunday. Really?!? It’s Sunday afternoon. I always spend descent money inside... that was a mistake! I’m local.
An incredible place to enjoy, relax and relive your childhood. Friendly service with great prices on drinks. All the old school video games you can think of ( free play )
Great bar. Tons of old school video games you can play for free. Good bartenders and a decent craft beer selection.
Every one that works at Glitch is great from the door to the bar... Jason, Joe, Sabrina, Kelsey, Rich, Sammi, and the rest of the gang. Staff is all friendly, easy to talk to, and very attentive. As for the games, there are games old and new, board games and console games, just about something for everyone.
Always a good atmosphere. Games are fun. I think the only suggestion I have is probably to use the front parking area for food trucks only. There is a whole parking lot across the street where everyone parks anyway.
Fun arcade bar, I dont drink so no comment on selection or prices. Seemed ok. Tons of fun games new & old, makes you realize how impossible these games were to beat as a kid with no money! Good thing they are free to play. And theres a sweet cookie place around the corner.
Added prices now for those like me who don’t drink... problem though is that it’s too overcrowded. Popularity soared which is great for their alcohol business but actually getting time with a game seems impossible.
Saw the legend Billy Mitchell here. Great drinks and atmosphere. GM is a good dude
Great games, great drinks and great beer selection. 3 bathrooms. This place is amazing
Love this place. Took me back to my teenage years at the roller ring. So recommend
Very nice bar. Enjoyed drinks and games. 10/10 will return to drink and play again
My family and I recently went here. Never again will we go back. The staff was extremely rude and the service was horrible. Bunch of drunk kids.
They recently did a wrist band system for the games which I wasnt too fond of and its more crowded than it used to be, but its still a fun place to game and drink without getting hit on by weirdos with no sense of personal space. They have a good mix pf old and new games and have consoles and arcade gaming.
We love glitch. Im also MVP at ski ball. Great music, cool bartenders and best selection of old school and new video games to play for free. Must be 21
Pretty cool place. Came out with a group for a birthday. Overall its a 5 but the $8 beers made it a 3. Games are in great shape. Id rather pay $10 to get in and pay normal drink prices. The cool thing was nobody was beating on the games and there were plenty of restrooms.Add on: This is a must place to go. We all had a great time and are planning another outing.
Awesome had a good time. Definitely where you take your girl to beat at video games
Great beer choices. Cool bar area. The usual classic arcades are here.Plus DeathBall!!!!Never played it before. So much fun. Easy to learn.
Went to Glitch last night.Sat at the bar with my friend to order drinks. This creeper guy in a white striped polo shirt on the other side of us - trying to seem discreet, not so discreetly starts taking pictures of me.Everyone notices because he has the flash on!I hold up my clutch to block the light, and he keeps taking pictures of me!The amazing bartender Sam, asks me if I know this guy - Nope! She asks him what he was taking pictures of - Lots of things..She - like a boss - gets who I can only assume is a bouncer (?), and this creep gets thrown out of the bar!I was soooooo very impressed by this action to stop unnecessary harassment in a local bar scene, - whereas in some other bars Ive been to - might have perpetuated this cycle by allowing female patrons to be harassed by creeps, because ...you should feel flattered a man is giving you attention.Me and my friends always have a great time here as well, the music is nostalgic, the games are nostalgic, and the cocktails are amazing!
It was my first time, New years Eve and Had an wonderful time. Wall to wall arcade machines, Bars in between and roomy restrooms.
This place is unusual and fun. Its chocked full of old video games and nearly all are free to play to your hearts content. Cover is $7 or the purchase of one drink. The staff are great. I tried peanut butter whiskey by Skrewball and it was really good. The bartender made me up a peanut butter and jelly cocktail and was an excellent way to serve the, peanut butter whiskey.Glitch is in an out of the way place so use directions to find it.
Ive been going to Glitch for over a year. Friday and Saturday nights get crazy, but early weekday evenings without too much of a crowd are fun. No waiting in lines for games, no obnoxious DJ music. The people who go here range from goths, nerds, e-gamers, to yuppies. A few good beers on tap, a lot more options in bottle or can. Cocktails are hit or miss. Dont be surprised if you find a tri-colored popsicle in one! That encapsulates the spirit of Glitch. They card, so no under-21s. My sole gripe is that some of the 80s and 90s arcade games dont work. Understandable, but frustrating. Will continue to go and have a good time.***Update as of Sept. 11, 2020***First time visiting since the pandemic shut down everything in South Florida. Glitch has converted from a barcade to a restaurant serving a brand new menu and a separate arcade entrance in which no food or drink is permitted. Unlimited games for $10.1. The Peanut Butter Vibes Sandwich is a must. It fits the theme of a retro barcade perfectly and was the most unique menu item. Crunchy peanut butter, jelly, and bacon on pressed bread with powdered sugar generously drizzled on top. Falls into the you gotta try its category for anyone not allergic or pork-free.2. The John Rambo Meatball Sandwich was good, but met my expectations rather than wowed. If you like meatball sandwiches, you can safely give it a go.3. Vodka Cran was on the weak side. There are tons of options for craft brew.4. Not as fun post-covid due to the segregation of food/drink from the arcade, but the staff was friendly and professional. Everyone wore masks and the guests understand this place is doing what it has to to survive. Theyre following all local ordinances with regard to limited capacity, indoor/outdoor seating, masks, and public hygiene. Really rooting for Glitch to survive.
Awesome old games from when I was a younger. Great drink selection. All the bartenders are awesome!! Will definitely be back.
Nicely decorated, the exterior artwork is awesome, high five to the artist. The bar is loaded with arcade games, FUN... Older to modern games. I had a good time. The staff is friendly and they are very knowledgeable on the drinks they retail. I had a great time just hanging out, theirs always something to do. Oh yea... Good music playing in the background.
Was cute just not my style, music was not anything to love or give fond memories, no food just food trucks, kinda weird crowd too. Most of the games are not common thought either and if they were it was busy the whole time
Great place to have fun and play nostalgic video games. One of the only few game bars with a full bar
Awesome place if you are with a friend or group. Its hard to ride solo at this place especially since the people here do the same things they would in their own home.
Awesome drinks and staff!
The vibe in this bar is great, a little packed during the weekends (understandably) but a perfect place to have drinks and chill with your friends, especially on weekdays. Drinks are amazing but most importantly, THE STAFF IS THE BEST! Thank you for everything Chris!
Great local spot. Music and drinks are always good. Great beer selection.
Clean, neat & Organized. Very knowledgeable and experienced bartenders the drinks were on point. This is definitely a favorite. If you decide to check it out (which I recommend you do) Remember to tip your bartenders!
Awesome concept. Drinks are fantastic especially the old fashioned. The games are always working and in great shape. The location is cool and the crowd is always casual. I always bring people visiting from out of town just because of how unique, fun, and memorable the place is. Worth checking out for a quick drink or to start a night of partying
Great selection of free and fun games, friendly bartenders, awesome beer selection, solid happy hour. We will be back.
Amazing retro videogame game bar with great vibes, you will loose track of time in this place because you will have SO much fun!!
Super cool spot. Old, new, and some indie arcade games. Only need more pinball!
Well run bar, a lot of games do not work. Nice bartenders and diverse crowd.
Hands down the best barcade Ive been too in my LIFE.
Best Barcade in south Florida, the bartenders are awesome, the vibe is just right, there’s a wide variety of Flocal draft beers and there’s a food truck outside. You can also become addicted to the Killer Queen game and thank me later it’s a laid back place to listen to indie and alt Rock with awesome people around
I like the way they have set up for the pandemic
Really fun spot to play some games and hang out! Honestly surprised that the games are still free to play with how popular this place is.
The music is old school, the games are old school, its just a really cool place to be. The drinks are great...I highly recommend it.
Beer and video games cant beat that
Its got a nice vibe, I like that it has video games and the bartenders are very good. Only complaint is it feels very cramped on busy nights, not a good place for people who dont do well in small spaces.
Love this place!!! Best music, best cocktails and Best service! My favorite, pink pony cocktail by the way
Pretty chill spot with free arcade games. No cover charge but you must be 21 to enter because theres a full service bar. Weekend nights have a live DJ which makes the place feel like a mini club. Great to go and hangout at.
Fun little barcade with free play for customers! All the games aren’t necessarily in perfect condition but its a fun little place. Music may be a little on the poppy throwback side but everyone sings along.
Neat place, went on a slow night and was able to experience multiple classic games
This place is so much fun, it takes me back to my childhood. On weekends they have food trucks in case you get hungry.
Amazing Place... retro games.... 80s nostalgia... A lot of punk rock music on wednesday... good envieronment
Awesome hole in the wall place. Lots of fun arcades and emulators to play
Ended up at Glitch Bar last night and I must say, What a place to be ! The whole experience is AMAZEBALLS.. when you first arrive, its literally a little hidden Gem. No fancy bars around, no restaurants directly across.. kinda of gives off nostalgia vibes in a wynwood twist. The place was packed but thats a good thing. Casual and Cool.. nobody was dressed to impress and I really Digged that. Bar was on point.. fast service, friendly servers and their drinks were good. My first one was The Bomb .. and it was just that! Who doesnt love a popsicle in their lemonade drink ?! There was a food truck out front, I didnt try it but many people were eating and I believe it was burgers and fries type of food. It looked super yummy ! Music was all over the place.. from the 80s to pop rock and you wouldnt believe me if you havent been and seen with your own eyes HOW ROCKIN it gets.. its a good mixed crowd .. so a lot of young and mid adults were in there .. singing along to every song and breaking it down. Old school games.. a ski ball section.. an air hockey game too. It was cool to see so many people enjoying themselves with the games. We played Mario Karts on an Nintendo 64 on like a TV from my childhood and I freaking loved it! Glitch Bar is def. A hang out you need to check out with your friends if youre down in the sunrise blvd / us1 area. I will definitely be coming back, I have a few games I didnt get to play and I need to!!
COOLEST BAR/CLUB IVE EVER BEEN TO!!!!! Takes the pressure off of having to dress up to go out, come as you are type vibe!
