I organize monthly networking events in the Bay Area and have hosted at Capones multiple times over the past few years. They are so accommodating to work with especially with large groups as we have over 100 people attend our events. Payam, the owner is wonderful to work with, quick at responding and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is prepared ahead of time for the event. It has great ambiance and I recommend it to anyone looking for a good drink near North Beach or looking for a venue to host a private event!

The owner is always around and makes sure everyone is happy. The food is delicious and the drinks are even better. I looooove the coconut infused rum, i swear I can swim in it.

Dont take party bus they will not let you in! Worst experience with door staff. They are completely unreasonable. Will not be back and be aware if your trying to celebrate an event with a group of people dont go here.

Phone theft is an issue obviously some staff is involved as is going to be the police. Ridiculous that there are so many post about phones and wallets being stolen. Maybe you should hire some security to walk around and watch for this theft. Don’t blame your patrons you should be providing an atmosphere of safety. Your bouncers cross the lines also.

Hit or miss. You guys never have WINE for sale cause most times i hate my drinks so i never buy more then one but have fun here lol never a dull moment

This was a stop on my recent A Game of Crawls, a Game of Thrones themed bar crawl. It was my least favorite stop of the night. I assume the bar is named for gangster and Chicago business man Al Capone who was a legend in South Florida. He owned an island in Deerfield Beach, was rumored to have a hideout in Ft. Lauderdale, and he died in Miami.Most of the bars made an effort to put up something to go with the theme of the crawl but Capones didnt bother. Hardly anyone was in the place compared to the other bars we went to and still took forever to get service. The floors were disgusting and the girls were dressed in skimpy outfits with fishnets. I dont care for the strip club look. The last straw was trying to use the bathroom only to find it full of half dressed girls with their curling irons plugged in and makeup everywhere. I couldnt even make it to the sink to wash my hands. They acted like I had invaded their personal restroom. The atmosphere here wasnt for me.

If youre tired of the same ole bougée scene and just wanna get grimy for bit, this place is awesome. Go in with an open mind and good buzz and youll have a blast. Ladies night will keep the numbers in check. They usually have an OK DJ with dancers on the bar. Youll occasionally catch the drift of a freshly lit blunt as you explore the depths of the club one sticky step at a time. Sometimes in life you just have to go for it.

Capones is a nice spot to go hear good music and dance. the atmosphere is good as well. BUT the reason why i will never go there again is every time i go to this club either my phone gets stolen or someone i know phone gets stolen. Im not sure if its a worker or just someone that comes in there to steal phones. if you do decide to go in there please leave your phone and anything valuable in your car. They literally went in my purse and stole my phone while i was on the dance floor. my purse was on my shoulder the whole time and i never took my phone out until we were leaving and i realized it wasnt there. be very careful when entering this club

Ok this is my first time here and theyre saying i cant go in WITH shorts but the way you guys make the money is off bartenders.....i cane to have fun with ny friends that came in town and i cant even go in.......whats with the dress code if you get in free guess i have to sit in the car while my friends have a good time Im appalled...another thing how you over charge a person that accidentally knocked over a hookah and said they woukd bring back another and at the end and change the story im so OVER THIS PLACE ANY TOURIST COMES TO THIS PLACE PLEASE COME WITH A SOBER MIND ......AND TAKING CASH APP FOR PAYMENT JESUS WHERE IS THE LOYALTY WITH THIS PLACE...IM SORRY I CAN AND WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE AND THE BARTENDER SKINNY WHITE CHICK ATTITUDE NASTY UNACCEPTABLE

I got all the time good spot. I love how the cops are right outside the club patrolling the area. Makes me feel a bit more safe. The only downfall the drinks are very pricey.

Now, this place is fun(kinda)! Staff can be cool 50/50 of the time. The crowd is always in party mode. A few losers in the crowd but not too bad. Much better than next door @FatCats. That is where the trash goes to get high and fight. This whole corner of Himershee is pretty trashy to be honest.

This place has been going downhill for awhile... Ive been hitting this stop for the last few yrs.... but now it its just a haven for drugs and fights. This past wkend there was another fight in the club... me and my friends put our drinks down and just left. I go out to have fun and party... not to deal with this.... I wont be going back

Last night my friend and myself were both attacked by the bouncer and bartender and this establishment. Do not go to this place. They have absolutely no regard for the law and it’s disgusting what they did. We will be pursuing legal action.

Worst bar there. Not a safe place at all. Be careful, its overcrowded and the people there are sketchy. Havent been there in over a year because my phone got stolen in capones. Gave it a try again recently, and no more than five minutes getting in, I recheck and my purse was open and phone was stolen again. I told my friend as soon as I noticed and she checks her purse and her phone was stolen as well. Because it is so crowded, its like a nesting for pick pockets. I know multiple people whos phones got stolen in that place. Also heard stories about the employees being in on it too.If you want to put your belongings at jeopardy then go right ahead. Im just saying, its sketchy. There are better, less crowded, and safer bars right across the street.

Wild place! Have you been to a dive dancing bar? Thats one! Right in the heart of Downtown, in between another dozen of bars, at a perfect location for a memorable bar hop!

Tho the music is good... capones establishment is racist and segregate the music that they play..... they llay lrimaruly black music from any origin in a small area of the club separate from the regular club... and to maake it even worse... the bartenders on the other side of this segregated establishment do not answer to vlavk patrons unless of course you have a white person with you.... my last time here

Decent club I enjoyed this bar. Not a bad setup and free on Friday and Saturday nightsThey have 2 djs, one room for hip hop and the other plays top 40.

Great place to party on a Thursday night! The DJ played a great balance of different types of music, and it didnt hurt that Ladies were able to drink for free! We had an absolute blast!

I love capones I come here at least 4 nights a week.. Ive been coming here since they opened it is the best place to be downtown but thats just my opinion!!

Open late for cold and cheap pitchers. You gotta have the pizza. Not to mention, its waterfront. Super beautiful views any time of day, or come by boat!

Whoretown heaven, especially when they have the ladies drink free nights, which is pretty much all the time.

Its a cheap place to drink and lose your hearing, which is why we went. Perpetually smells like bile. Nice that is has two clubs inside with different music.

My friend and I waited 15 minutes for a drink (understandable on a Saturday night) finally ordered for myself and was never given $5 dollars of change. I asked the bartender and she began to argue with me that she deserves a $5 dollar tip because its her birthday? She then angrily throws my change at me. I tipped her and left. Very unprofessional, cannot believe I was treated so poorly after tipping her the entire night. Will not be spending my money here again. Unfortunate as I usually have a very pleasant time as this location.

The crowd here was pretty nice for the weekend. It can get over crowded to the point that you cant even do the Dougie. The security guards are pretty nice and nice looking ;-) and so are the dancing girls. The drinks are a fair price too. My only issue was with one security guard at the door who purposely dropped my ID and when I gave him a surprised look and waited for him to pick it up, he smirked and said you shouldve worn panties...First, I was wearing a cute dress, and panties might I add and secondly, I felt that was a cheap move. He was acting like he had a PhD in bouncing or something. Anyhow, overall, good place to go and dance (in both rooms).

If youre not looking to get your phone stolen, PLEASE STAY AWAY! Went here a few nights ago and I noticed my phone went missing! This place is extremely sketchy and the bouncers there are aware of all the criminals in there but still let them in. Stay away from this place!!!

The place was okay and the prices are fair. Last night I ended up getting the VIP booth but as soon as the owner of the joint left, the bouncer who was guarding it decided that it was his personal VIP booth as well. He took it upon himself to invite his “little brother”, friends, and girlfriend into my booth. Normally, I would not mind but when I asked who they were he said “they’re my family and they’re staying”. He had a terrible attitude and I wasted my time/money being there.

At first I never bothered with the place but now coming here has become the norm. Great staff, great people, and always a good time. DJs are insanely good. All bartenders and shot girls are outstanding. My favorite bartender, hands down is Christina! DJ bar! A must hang out spot in downtown Ft. Lauderdale :) I almost forgot 3-4-1 that is authentically that!

The drinks are priced very well for what you get. The music is perfect for any mood youre in and the atmosphere will definitely put you in a good mood. The shot girls and bartenders are smokin hot so if youre looking for someone to drool over, this is definitely the place. I would recommend it to anyone whether you live in ft. lauderdale or youre just visiting! Thumbs up 100%

This place was packed and full of a rowdy crowd when we went there over spring break. They had a booty shaking competition. Shot girls were on the bar pouring shots to patrons between their legs. We got bottle service. It was a good time.

Cool place. Pretty big wouldnt be able to tell from the outside. Only down off is they have way to many restrictions

I watched my female friends be disregarded at the bar, in favor of serving men who walked up and stood for only a moment or two. The female bartender was not paying attention, and taking care of patrons in order of arrival. One of the girls in my party has been a bartender for over 10 year, and told her exactly how bad she was doing at her job, in no uncertain terms. Train your staff.

Need less to say if you are going to fort lauderdale the only place worth going to is Capones.. Friendly staff, great deals on drinks, and great looking crowds... Whether you just want a night to relax with friends or a night to go crazy this place does the job.

One of the best spots to be in Ft Lauderdale. 3-4-1 Drinks?! That is unheard of! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is unlike any other. Drink prices arent pricey like most of the spots in the downtown area and the DJs are awesome! If you in town for a thursday, Ladies are drinking free! This place gets a two thumbs up!

Okay bar, the drink prices were by far the highest compared to all the bars around. They were playing good music but too laud to hear anything or anyone.

Great music(hip hop, spanish, and techno), dancers on top of bars, the hookah is great (very nice hookah guy that was working on Friday April 10th 2015).

Bad smell throughout the whole bar, super crowded, and super expensive drinks in a small plastic cup. There are several other bars and clubs on Las Olas that so it better.

This place is extremely loud and insanely crowded. You literally cannot walk anywhere because it is shoulder to shoulder. Im certain this place is over maximum occupancy regularly. It took forever to get a drink And on top of that, someone stole everything out of my purse that was on my arm the entire night.

I LOVE this place !!!!!!!!!!! The staff makes Capones the Best place to party in All of Ft. Lauderdale. 3 drinks for the price of 1 ;o) I have never heard of such a thing untill I visited Capones. I must say downtown FT. Lauderdale is one of the best places I have been to party, Much more fun then Miami and alot less $$$ and Capones is right in the middle of it all. If you are in South Florida you have to make Capones your Destination. Great DJs Cool Atmosphere and lots of sexy people.

Worst experience. Not even 2 minutes in, my phone was stolen. I told the bouncers who said they couldnt do anything. Spoke to a manager who said theres a group that comes in specifinally to steal phones, only to find out that the bouncers are in on it too. They receive a cut from whats sold, and they help pick people out to steal from.
