Whoa..had never been to a small intimate theatre such as this! I would never had known it existed if my friend hadnt taken me. Profound talent in that small space. Will definitely return!

Slipstream Theatre Initiative is one of the best theatre experiences in the Detroit metro area. Detroit has so many venues that showcase talent. Slipstream is at the top of the game. And you are missing out on superb talent if you havent already been to the the theatre!

Just discovered this community theater at the end of their season and really enjoyed the play ruthless. They did an excellent job on it their next season starts in January of 2019 and I look forward to seeing more Productions in the space. They have done Innovative things with their space and created a theater with to staging levels they also have another room that they can move to for the second act of the performance which is a unique theatrical experience

Intimate venue large on young talent. This is my second visit, I saw Romeo and Juliet and it was awesome! I will definitely make this one of my regular stops.

Local original theatre with an incredibly talented group of artists. This little theatre delivers huge entertainment in small1.5 hour doses that you will truly enjoy.

If you havent been to a play at Slipstream youre missing out. This is a really great space curated by some of the most dedicated creatives in the business. Ive seen several shows here and have never been disappointed. Slipstream is a hidden gem.

My first play attended at this cozy and wondrous, little pocket-dimension of a theater was Dr. Heidi Jekyll, a ninety-minute adaptation of The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.The opening night of this work was masterfully performed by a quartet of players; the dialogue was crisp, the interactions between characters believable, and the scene changes nearly seamless.The audience was welcomed into a world which became more and more surreal, until the transformation into a dread reality slowly dawned on them. mirroring the imperceptible and unanticipated escalation into the world of chemical dependence only to have real-world consequences shatter rudely the delusion of manageability.I was very impressed by the world created in this small and intimate venue. All of those involved were more than willing to talk about their experiences and how things were done. I fully intend to go back in a couple of weeks, making this production only the second live performance I will have attended more than once.Its worth it.
