Beautiful beach. Lots of room to run around and play in the sand and water. There are public restrooms and outside showers available near the parking lot.

Its nice to have some public areas on the beach. Not a lot of parking. Unfortunately the bathrooms were hot and nasty.

ADA ramp north of the main beach parking lot. Nice ocean view for those who cannot venture into the sand.

City of FB does a great job of keeping this park clean and tidy. Nice clean grassy area, cool playground for the kids, nice refreshed boardwalk and a couple of great beach restaurants right there. Love it!

The park itself is beautiful. The bathrooms are clean. There are outdoor showers. Beach access is easy even for toddlers and some handicap.But... Getting into the water here isnt recommended for most people. The rip tide/undertoe is very strong at this location. It will sweep you off your feet before you realize it. I would definitely not bring children here to get into the water. There are far safer beach options that are not far away. Little Talbot and Hugenaut Parks for example are calmer waters IMHO. Also those Parks are better shell and sharks teeth spots.If youre looking for bigger waves. To sunbathe or just to stroll on the beach. This is a great spot. I would take my kids somewhere else if youre thinking about getting in the ocean.

Took my sister to see the beach. She loved it, Ive lived here 30 years. Im glad she was thrilled and I could show her the beach.

So much fun! We went to this beach this year and last and made excellent memories! Showers, bathrooms, and walkway are all very convenient. We also ate at Salt Life this year and really enjoyed it. Sometimes the facilities arent fully stocked, and you may want to protect little feet from the broken shells in the sand.

Main Beach has a little bit of everything for the person looking to relax by the ocean. From some great dining options, wide open grassy lawns, a play ground, mini-golf, picnic areas, and of course, a broad beach. During the summer, the beach can be quite busy during peak hours, but early morning and into the evenings are typically quiet.

Crowded. Bathrooms can be smelled from 15 feet away. Skate park looked fun. And theres mini-golf.

It was incredibly stormy when we came to this beach and there was sea foam everywhere and the wind was blowing intensely. Very wild and beautiful!

This is a great beach! Very family friendly! Its a nice place that is not too crowded or touristy. Dogs are allowed on leashes which is also great. There are bathrooms, outside rinse stations, picnic tables and a playground too.

Loved the area, clean and wide open to people walking their dogs and as families. Plenty of places to sit and stroll. The the city and county really care about the area, they were on scene to survey the beaches and places people congregate.

Well maintained area with easy access to a beautiful beach. Parking is an issue and of the 2 outside showers only one worked. The public bathrooms need some maintenance. Address the showers and bathrooms and i will give it 5 stars. The picnic areas are very clean, although the ants controlled our table. I will be glad to visit again.

Great beach. Access is really good with large parking lot. It is well maintained and has lifeguards until 5pm. Great for families... no rowdy crowds!

Park is cool for kids. Bathrooms are disgusting...especially considering we are in the middle of a pandemic when cleanliness really matters. Shame on the city.

Fernandina Beach is beautiful and very well kept and this is a great beach park. There are several beach access points, a nice boardwalk and plenty of benches to sit and take in the amazing views. There is ample parking, fairly clean restrooms, a nearby skate park, mini golf and restaurants.

Nice beach we visited while on vacation. We drove up and had a hard time finding parking cos we didnt know the area well, but found a bunch near the salty dog cafe and a park. Sun was hiding all day in the clouds but we all still got a bunch of sun. Nice area, nice beach. waves were pretty big at times. Hope to be back another time.

Grew up a few yrs here...amazing beach; everlasting memories. Several new and unfamiliar structures, but the beach is stiil the beach ️

I enjoyed visiting this location for the first time with my family. The scenery was nice. Several families were there enjoying themselves as well. It was a good time.We drove around the area to look at the real estate. It was good family time.

Great shell hunting here, good clean waves and smooth bottom ocean floor. Went there on a weekend and it wasnt very crowded.

Fernandina beach is one of the best beaches around gr8 restaurants local bands gr8 fishing & one of the best beaches for shark teeth love it it is one of my & the wifes happy place

This was a great beach. Very nice an comfortable and alot of people! The water was incredibly warm and had some small bit bice waves. I would highly recommend going here as you would have a great time. It is within a 5 minute drive of all the nearby shops and restaurants. Great food nearby but an awesome view at the beach

I was nervous about bringing my tiny puppies but it was great! They are scared of the waves but I met some very responsible pet parents everyone was in leashes and enjoying themselves. The beach was clean and beautiful

We spent the day there today, was great and it has all facilities for beach goers.

This is one of my favorite beaches to relax and renew my creative inspiration. Main Beach Park fills up with rows of people and portable seating between 5:30am and 7:30am to enjoy the sights and sounds accompanying sunrise, lapping waves and soaring waterfowl. Parking is adequate and safe.

Nice beach, really clean, lots of shells to choose from. But theres tons of tiny/crushed shells which makes it hard to walk barefoot or with flip flops. Id recommend wearing water shoes when coming here, but overall its great!!

This is just a nice beach. Not over crowded, the beach is kept nice, Mostly locals, close parking, just needs more business around to do. There is a mini golf, outside showers, bathrooms that werent bad and a playground for kids.

Im glad the in-laws live in such a beautiful place. And this is a recreation of a drawing of us together my husband, the talented artist did right after I had my son. And this was the perfect location! Plus right across the street is a pretty good restaurant.

It was absolutely beautiful and we had the beach to ourselves that morning. Fernandina is a great place to kick off your shoes and enjoy the warm waters!

We just moved to Fernandina Beach last week! I am so in love with the beach and parks! I was amazed that they were changing the green on the putt putt golf area! It looked great before and now it is brand new! You can tell they take pride in main beach. The park, bathroooms, and shower areas are nice!

Amelia Island is a beautiful and enchanting island! Enjoyed me stay here!
