Veterans Park is a staple in my community. Its well kept and maintained and has a plethora of options. Whether youre looking to hike, cycle, skate, walk your dogs, have a picnic, play volleyball, or just play with your kids at a playground, this park has it all. Beautiful lake side paths and hiking trails make this worth visiting over and over again.

Awesome park with a lot to do. There are trails that circle the entire lake either paved or natural. You can also fish right off the damn. The park has always been kept clean and the sand volleyball courts are some of the best in the area. Playgrounds for the kids as well.

Nice park attached to a long bike/pedestrian trail. It has bathrooms, water fountains, several beach volleyball courts and a playground. There are rentable electric scooters if you feel like zipping around on the pace trail. There is also a entrance to nature trail/dirt path that takes you through wooded areas parallel to the paved path. I think this would be an excellent park for those with mobility devices. The paved trail runs for 6 miles through a number of parks in fayetteville, with accesible or parking close by trailheads.

Great place for family, pets, fitness and activities. The day we were there a womens DU took place and there was a band for the event, it was cool to watch the runners and cyclists. We were there for a sand volleyball tournament so all the courts were all being used. The trails are paved and wonderful for running, walking or biking. I believe the whole trail system is 5 miles. We followed it to the lake and back. There were short little hiking trails along the way where you could detour off the trail for a 50 yards or so and then get back on (this is great for kids or pets). The trail goes over a spillway with observation points. We only went a short distance on the trail with our dog but there were families with pets, children and bikers on the path. The park is clean and well maintained. It has bathrooms, park benches, picnic areas, shelters, water spigots, plenty of trash receptacles and pet clean up bags.

Nice equipment with great trees and close to the lake. I just dislike the bark.

Always clean, free WiFi if needed, and a ton of things to do. They have volleyball courts, hiking trails, a lake and a stream, a beautiful waterfall over a dike, Pokemon Go, and plenty more. Bathrooms are closed for covid 19 know this and plan ahead.

Nice Park area and perfect for races. The Lake Fayetteville Trail loop is very well maintained. The curves and rolling hills also make for a nice run or walk - just enough to keep it interesting and challenging. Highly recommend you check it out.

At Veterans Memorial Park while Ladies Duathlon was in action. Great place for families to get out and play too.

Great place to have a picnic. The walking trail is wonderful, its a beautiful site. I would love to speak with the owner and suggest some family memories for the area where people can see the water. I have so many ideas for that particular area. Its beautiful out there and we absolutely love it.

Everything is still taped off because of covid19...but we laid a blanket out and visited for a bit. People kept there distance.

If youre looking for an urban oasis that literally feels miles away from the city, but still in the middle of the NWA corridor then this is it. Miles of well maintained trails form walking and biking as well as off road bike and running trails with plentiful wildlife. A great place to start on the Greenways trail system.

This is my Familys favorite Park! We go here every week. Its a good family spot and its all good folks,, good vibes, and clean.

The trails around this park are very well done. You have both paved and rough hiking available. Be aware that both bikers and pedestrians utilize these trail. Also a great place to find persimmons.

Lots of equipment for play for kids, great trails, restrooms, and sand volleyball pits. But most important....lots of Pokestops and gyms!!

Absolutely amazing! We started down at lake Fayetteville and made our way up the trail. The first thing I noticed was how spacious the trail length and width was, which was very nice considering the amount of people around. One of our families favorite trails to walk because the lake is absolutely stunning! Ive ridden some of bike trails years ago and what I can remember they are always very well kept! Highly recommend!

This park is easy to find with multi level trails for walking, hiking and biking. There are great areas to stop and enjoy the Ozark scenery and to play with your kids.

Its a lovely park overall. It connects to a gorgeous trail system, only downside is the parking. Since the street is a one way, cars can get backed up when exiting, but overall a great park with a playground, beach volleyball, and trails.

Nice place, nice trails, good lake for fishing, but needs to update yearly fishing permit from January-December to one year from purchase date. Like June 2019 to June 2020 etc

Great walking/biking trails. The playground is in the shade much of the summer (except midday). Pavilion and volleyball courts.

Veterans Memorial Park is one of my favorite parks, due in large part to the extensive trail system leading to and around the lake. Both paved and dirt trails are ideal for walking or biking. There are also volleyball areas, and a playground for young children.

Excellent park! But the bathrooms could use some more attention. They have a bit of a funky smell.

No reason to hate the place, except for the bugs, but thats just nature.

Pokemon got to catch them all. Its beautiful out there trails that lead to the lake. Nice family park to play or have an even. Have pokestops and pokegyms there is just a bonus

I go here to play pokemon go I enjoy how there are 5 pokestops in just the park alone and 2 gym as well. There are others around. I really like that they have restrooms and covers places to sit.

One of my favorite spots to take the family for some fun walking/exercise and also a great spot for Pokemon GO players plenty of gyms and stops littered all about the grounds

Great place. Just wish I live little bit closer where I can come by more n walk the trails n hit the Pokemon stops n gym. Just in the parking lot theres bout 2 gyms n bout 5 poke stops

Plenty of parking, benches, a big pavilion, trees, playgrounds, and volleyball. We had a nice time just hanging out eating lunch under the pavilion while the college kids played volleyball. The turn was almost hard to see though unless you are looking for one little sign. But once you find it you are good. The bike paths and walking trails also collide here so you could literally spend all day getting lost in this beautiful park.

It is so beautiful and easy to take the dogs for a walk

The Razorback Greenway attaches to the wonderful trail that winds around Lake Fayetteville. The playground areas are fairly large, next to a pavilion, restrooms and several volleyball courts!
