This park is decent. It provides everything you need and its big enough to let your dog run free. A few more benches and another entry to the second half part of the park would be ideal but its a good place, a lot of responsible friendly owners
My dog loves this park. Water and poo bags are provided by the park. Lots of space to run around. The place is huge! There are usually lots of dogs there to play with. They have a separate area for dogs under 40 lbs if you are worried about the big dogs.
Love this place!! my dog loves making new friends and running and playing until her heart’s content (or until it gets dark!!) always so clean and upkept!
Great park, lots of space and a good amount of pup pals to play with on a Saturday morning.
Holy Dogs!! Do not show up at ten am and expect to be alone! There must have been 25 dogs in the large dog area. The small dog area is designated for dogs under 25 lbs but we put our antisocial human loving 80 pound dog in the small dog area because no one was there and we were scared to see what would happen with the exposure to so many other dogs all at once. I was surprised at the large number of dogs and how well they all played. They would jump in the water buckets and lift their legs on the fire hydrants. It was cute! Maybe we will show up at a less visited time again (not between 9:30-noon) and see if our dog can handle the large dog area.
Our first trip to the dog park was successful. We meet a lot of well-behaved dogs and a few nice people, as well. There dog park is reasonably well maintained, all things considered. There are plenty of buckets for the dogs to drink and a couple of places where poop bags are kept along the fence line. Theres only a single chain link fence between the large and small dog sides, so theres a bit of excitement from that, but it wasnt unmanageable. Owners seemed to actually pay attention to their dogs, which you dont see everywhere. We will definitely be back.
Its a good dog park, lots of room for your dogs, and it has a separate part for big dogs and/or small dog but weather permitting. After a rain, that park is a mess and so will be your dog!Plan according!
A safe place for a dog to be a dog! Well-kept, clean, secure. Fresh water available. Plenty of shade, benches, waste bins.
Usually cannot find a good selection of small dogs for my pups to play because of timing. Really needs a live viewable camera for people to see if dogs are at the park before leaving the house. Takes about 15 to 20 minutes to get there and no one is around!
Nice big flat dog park, mostly grass. I was worried by other reviews that it would be very muddy after a rain, but we went early morning after a night of heavy rain and the only puddles in the large dog area were in holes that dogs had dug. (Naturally our dog found one and laid down in it!) It is next to a walking path which is nice and a sewage treatment plant which is a little smelly but to dogs, probably an interesting feature. Did not visit the small dog park but there is one. Our dog gives it 5*.
I have been coming to this park for a couple years now and my great Dane just loves it!There is even a nice trail I can walk my dog on before she goes in to the dog park area. Its located right across from the Cape fear botanical gardens. Most of the time people clean up after their pets but ya know there’s always that one owner. So just be mindful where you’re stepping.*Large dog area and small dog areaCloses at dusk
Nice park with large and small dog areas, waste bags, drinking bowls, and benches and shaded areas for sitting. All around nice place, certainly the best dog park in Fayetteville.
This dog park is amazing. I love that owners leave collectively bring toys for the dogs that are left there for others to use. They have plenty of room to run and fresh water spickets on each end. There’s also clean buckets for the dogs to drink from. Great job!!
This was my 8 month old beagle first interaction with other puppies. He has a best friend at home name Solomon he a Rottweiler and is huge. I really have to say I was surprised as to how much my puppy loved being with other dogs
My dogs and I love this park.
Haven’t been here for 4 months and decided to give this place another chance and it’s still bad too much mud and aggressive dogs. A women really came at me because I got her big dog off of my because he was going to attack her and was growling at her. If you really want to take your dog to have a good time this isn’t the place owners don’t look after their dogs.
Only problem i had is they need to put some rocks in the entranceway small pets area little muddy there ...no other
Love this place and its so nice and big and love how I can let my dog run and then we walk the trail
We take our puppy every weekend and before we leave the house she runs laps around me when I tell her where we’re going! The park is maintained by the city, I’ve seen them there a few times cutting grass. There is trash cans for poop as well as poop bags and water faucets and buckets. Come with a towel ready though! If it’s rained any time recently there will more then likely be mud. I’ve never been there and seen it empty and for the most part all the dogs (and owners) are friendly, only seen an incident with an aggressive dog once in the past few months I’ve been going.
First time at the park. The people and pets were very friendly and although it was a little crowded (about 15 - 20 dogs) I think it went very well for my dogs first experience off his leash, other than in his own yard. Thanks to all the people who made me feel welcome there. We will definitly be back.
A very nice place to take your dogs to burn some energy and play with other dogs. Plenty of space to run, water and toys included, mostly balls and frisbees. 2 enclosures one for small dogs one for large. Only problem is that its far from my home.
This dog park is a little out of the way. However, its the best one in Fayetteville. Its spacious and there are usually other dogs for yours to play with. Theres a small and large dog area. The areas is maintained well. Theres water, doggie bags, and some fountains for them to splash in. I recommend.
Great place to bring your dog.
Its a good place to let your dog run however dog owners arent always vigilant of there bigger or more dominant dogs. My dogs been attacked 3 times now on 3 different occasions. Very likely wont return which is sad because the location itself is grea .
Went here with my Girlfriend and her dogs. Soooo much room to an extent. We had to cross through gates but I could tell by the dogs faces that it was worth it! Also they have water buckets and tennis balls already there. And poop bags
Wide space for dogs to play in fenced in area
Great place to spend some time and had plenty of space.
Very friendly people with decently friendly dogs. The only reason I give it 4/5 stars, is because of all of the mud. Great place for the pups to mingle and get some social interaction.
Its a nice park with plenty of room for dogs to run and play. Poop bags, trash receptacles, and water provided. It would be fuve stars, but for the fact that it needs to be mowed more consistently.
I love this dog park! People leave buckets for water and there is always a few balls laying around! You are never alone for to long so your dog always has a few friends!
My dog loved it. And no one was rude when I brought my little dog in the big area. They all played together.
Its big, and other dogs come here too. My husky loves it
Friendly dogs and owners. Nice parknplay. Clean. Water supplied.
Great Park with nice amenities. Lots of shade and water available for the pooches! Highly recommend.
Nice big enclosed area for the small dogs... much more enjoyable on a dry sunny day. Very nice the puppy loved it!
Fenced in and plenty of space to run.
It was just ok. Took our small teddy bear puppy there for the first time. Lots of big dogs there, some not so clean licking and slobbering all over my 7 mo old puppy, running at her, scaring her to death. Owners not really paying attention to their dogs. Had one female older dog that obviously had recently had puppies actually climbing up on my little puppys back acting like a male dog. I was just disgusted that the owner was letting this occur and we were the ones trying to get this dog off of ours. Then right before we left a young lady came in with her husky mix breed dog who, for whatever reason zoned right in on our puppy, who was in my lap, and came right over and promptly tried to bite my puppys neck! I politely stood up with my puppy to leave and got the owners attention and told her what happened. She replied, oh, shes just playing. OK, then after she did this to several other dogs there, why did the park start clearing out with people taking their dogs away from yours? It WAS fairly clean and theres a walking/biking trail that apparently leads downtown to the library, so Id like to maybe run or bike that to see how it is. So, the take away here is...watch your dog, because a lot of the owners are not paying attention to theirs.
Great dog park! It’s well kept and includes three sections: small dogs, big dogs, and a second section off of the big dog area that can be closed off if needed. There are several benches and shaded areas as well as a couple of wading pools and access to water for the pups.
Always a fun time to go watch my dog play
GREAT place for dogs and their owners. Fayetteville did good.
My dog loves it hes a medium size dog so he can go on either side to run free and play be we prefer the small dog side just because some of the bigger dogs although playful can be a bit aggressive so to avoid any mix ups all together we just stay to the small dog side
Live the dogs have a blast
Its like the only dog park I know of
Best dog park ever! Lots of different dogs and my fur babies love it
Very muddy, many dogs but make sure to wear very old clothes and boots. The entries are just giant puddles of water, but lots of space for dogs to play. A nice, fenced in park. Unfortunately in the middle of nowhere and not in a nice environment. Id rather go to another park in the future.
Nice dog park. Plenty of room for the furbabies to play. The few times Ive gone there have always been friendly people. If you play Pokemon Go the are a few pokestops here.
I LOVE dogs, and on clear sunny weekends this place is full of them. Its got separate areas for small and large dogs, benches for the humans, and its right along Linear Park which is a nice walking path. The park is also near a sewage plant but I havent had an issue with the smell. There is a decent porta-john in the parking area for a bathroom.
First time at a dog park and everyone was so friendly it was awesome. Trees for shade, plenty of space, and a fun atmosphere for dogs and their owners.
Great place....
Well-maintained, clean. Water available for the dogs. Good mixture of sun and shade. Secure fencing for both areas, large and small dogs.
My dog FENDER and i,love this place
More and more ppl are bringing in infants and small children. It is clearly posted that infants are not allowed. Too bad the dog will be blamed when something happens.
Well maintained, there are always bags for doggy poop, toys to play with and water fountains and bowls.
Best and only dog park in town!
Great dog park. Segmented parks for small and large dogs. Big, open running areas.
It was awesome
Great place for large and small dods!
I love this park!!! I take the pups here every week to every other week at minimum. The dogs have a blast with all the room to run and play, it is kept clean, and has a spot for both small breeds and large ones. It also has seating while you are waiting for your fur child to wear themselves out with friends.
Clean!!! With bathing stations and plenty of doggie bags. Much better than on post Dog park. People are more commonly easy to get along with. More understanding people. Weve been coming here for months and plan to do so till we leave. 2 very large dog areas for big dogs and another decent sized area more in the shade for smaller dogs.
Everything was wonderful until three cars got broken into.
Maintained well and great space for dogs to run around
Awesome Park for your dog and their owners, I like running with my dog on the trails after he plays.
Brought my 4 month GS puppy here to get him used to other dogs, it was great but there were some overly aggressive dogs there. And my dog is really big for his age so size wasn’t a problem until he was on the bottom of a dog pile lol but I would recommend bringing your own water dish just Incase because some of the dogs liked to pee on/in the water buckets. But overall it’s really great there’s plenty of shade and room for your dogs to run around. I will be bringing my puppy back soon
My dog loves to visit this dog park. Owners are really good about picking up after their furry friends (and there are always bags available) and are always friendly and talkative.
My wife and I went to the dog park and everything was fine, until this man brought his huge Bull Mastiff (white dog ) the dog attack another smaller dog. The owner did not try to grab his dog or stop him from hurting the other dog . My wife was grabbing our dog being pregnant trying to get our dog away from the fight while I try to help get the dogs separate . She was cursing at the owner to grab his dog while not stopping his dog .The Bull Mastiff had the smaller dogs head in his mouth lifting him off the around and smaller dogs owner trying to grab him while the Bull Mastiffs owner was not helping at all . His girlfriend got bite by their own other smaller dog . For these people to be aloud in this dog park and attack other dogs and than they try to blame it on the smaller dog . I will never bring my dog here again . Sickening what happen to that poor dog ripped ear, lip ripped my wife trying to help the injured dog and the guy tried to let his dog in the small area where my wife was helping this dog she had to curse at him to not come in .
Huge dog park with plenty of space to roam and plenty of shade. The small dog section is the biggest Ive been to and its great to let my dachshund run around for a bit before we go to the big dog side for my aussie/corgie to run around chasing the big dogs.
Uncourteous dog owners frequently allow large breeds to roam unsupervised, while they stare at their phones and pretend they cant hear the chaos. Other than that its great.
Big fenced areas with sun & shade yet muddy by entrance to back fenced area making it inaccessible. Each time weve been here there has been 1 aggressive unruly dog, a different dog each time. Crossing this park off our list.
Great dog park with great dog owners!
Very large dog park with plenty of room for the dogs to run. Multiple areas for water as well. Separate areas for small and large dogs. My biggest complaint is no one seems to watch their dogs while here.
Nice place where dogs can be dogs.
I have a pit and great Dane that I bring here all the time. They love it, as do I! Ive hardly ever experienced a negligent owner. Maybe 1 out of 100 times (yes, we go THAT often!). The picture of them sleeping is from right when we get back. They are knocked out and exhausted!
It was clean and everyone was friendly.
Great space, both small and large dog areas. We have a 16 lb mix breed and will often spend time in both areas. Can get MUDDY after rains but appears that maintenance is trying to address those mid puddle areas.
Our dog Hannah loves to come here to run and play with the other dogs. Its a good place for her to run off some of her energy. We have had a lot of rain this summer so the mud makes for alot of mess but that is beyond anyones control. I think a city as large as Fayetteville should have more than 1 dog park, however
Nice dog park with lots of space. Water spigots and waste bags avaliable. Most people very friendly!
Great park, very large and well maintained
It is great for the dogs. It gets filled many dogs after 12pm and fun to see them play with other dogs.
Love this dog park. Usually pretty clean. Always with other dogs for mine to play with.
Marvelous area to let my pup get out his energy! Plus an amazing trail to walk
People and there pops were awsome
Good place to let the dog run off some energy. When we were there (just after dawn), it was empty other than us.
Wonderful my dogs love it I love it I live in Raeford its worth the drive need to build one in Raeford go out for little babies.
Big nice area for the dogs to be dogs. And it separated by small and big dogs category. Not many shaded areas
Great place to bring your dog
Very nice dog park. Have separate area for large and small dogs. There is also a trail right next to it.
Imagine if you will, dogs fighting in a poorly drained field next to a waste processing plant. I dont know what made the City of Fayetteville decide to put a dog park here, but it certainly wasnt for view. The dog owners dont do anything to prevent their dogs from fighting. Honestly, the worst dog park Ive ever brought my dog to. Wont be coming back.
This place was great.
My dog love it, he is always happy when I bring him to this park!
