With all that is going on in the world, its good to take a breather amidst nature to decompress.This is a good park to take a leisurely stroll since they have a ~1 mile paved trail (~2 mile round trip) that also acts as the disc golf course with benches throughout. There is also a dock that has calming views on the Glenville Lake. You may encounter some wildlife as well such as bunnies that I saw on my first trip.At the other end of the park are some tennis courts that has a separate parking space. If you were to walk, it would take about 10-15 minutes to get there.As of June 3, 2020, the park is opened until 7 pm, but should get back to regular hours once things are more stable.

The park is great, benches along the way, well kept and the playground is great for the kiddos. Usually see people out with their Frisbees and having fun. The view is gorgeous

So before I dive in for a deep review Ill say this, great park but like all things it has issues. Alright lets get to this its a park this much is clear and for some its probably great no matter your walk of life... sadly its bogged down by people who just frankly want to waste their life and our time, Ive been on quite a few occasions the trail is a bit short but thats mostly due to geographic area since it is fayetteville one of the most over developed and populated parts of North Carolina. Sadly thats also its downfall its great for What it offers however just walking the trail you can fill 2-3 trash bags with all the stuff people just toss out and thats not even getting into the bigger items like tires plus it never seems to help every return is basically faced with the same plague of humans scummy behaviors (not to mention the injection needles found along the lake side.... you know whom you are) but all aside from that its still a nice safe haven for pure and mostly wild nature.

The park is well maintained and the view of the lake / spillway was gorgeous. Well worth the visit.

Cumberland County residents are lucky to have so many county parks -- and Mazarick Park is wonderful. Its divided into park #1 & park #2 -- two separate entrances. Each side, or each park, has a playground area for younger kids. Each has 18-hole disc golf (I havent tried this yet, but hope to soon as it looks like lots of fun -- golf played with small frisbee-like weighted discs). Both have great nature trails. Check out both sides of the Park! Hours and park rules are posted at entrances.

I love coming here for some relaxation. Great place to bring the kids for play time, fishing, biking, dog walking or just simply sitting at one of the benches enjoying a lunch. Its very quiet and the park is well maintained. Big enough to have some sort of privacy but nothing too big.

Great park but recently poorly maintained. Parks and rec had plent of time and oppurtunity with corona and being shut down but they have dropped the ball. Most of the playgrounds have large ruts that a small child can easily trip in.

Great place in the middle of town to get back to nature for a quick break.

Hard to see the map, short linear trails. Beautiful and mesmerizing views. The disc golf course seemed pretty good, a little issue I had was some lanes closer to the water were muddy.Just want to get out the house, this is a quick and short little jolt into nature from hardball or dirt trail. With playground for the kids.Dog friendly, and trash cans are available.

The view of the lake is great to relax your mind.

Nice park. Not a swimming lake, but beautiful paved wide trail and playground with charcoal grills scattered. Very little bugsFishing off small pier. Bathrooms available too.

Its a wonderful park & trail to stroll with whoever you chose.

Two disc golf courses next to each other. Plenty of parking. A few nice sheltered areas. If you are in the area Id suggest playing disc golf here.

Always fun and well taken care of. Love bringing the kids. The trails are clean. They also have at least two playgrounds, an ultimate Frisbee course, easy bathrooms, a tennis court and lots of inner woods to explore. The lake on the property is beautiful and provides for a good quiet place to sit and think. They have two main entrances from the Bulvedere side. The address for the park takes you to the office building by the lake. If you go to the other one, thats where the tennis courts are and playgrounds. Enjoy!

Restrooms locked. Washing station filthy. Port-a-Potty dirty. Needs better grounds keeping. Need new management.

Im not familiar with the kids park but the two disc golf courses are really nice. This is where I learned to play. The Pines course, the newer of the two, is long enough to be challenging but open enough to be fun for even beginners. The Lakes course, which is the older of the two, has much longer hose with much more elevation. It is a difficult course even for seasoned players. Both courses are very fun and I do highly recommend playing both.

Caught a couple of fish but all in all it was super relaxing. All ways good to be one with nature

Very relaxing environment. Has play grounds, tennis courts, fishing, and walking trails. Also has a few small bbq pits and picnic area with tables.

Went to go check out the fishing and was extremely disappointed. Fishing is designated only to one super small fishing dock. If people would be more responsible with packing out what they pack in, the place might be somewhat enjoyable and maybe they would open more areas for fishing. The park was trashed and people who dont know how to cast have decorated the trees over the water with bobbers and lures. I dont think Ill ever be back to this park. No reason to be there if you could go to jail for enjoying nature.

Love this park. Do be cautious though we often see snakes when visiting seen a baby snake and a baby turtle.

Not a bad little park at all, plenty of parking and has a nice dock for fishing or to just enjoy the view of the water and changing color of leaves during the fall.

First time going here to go on the walking trail. Very nice atmosphere. The lake views are beautiful as you are walking. And if you like to fish here you go! It has different areas for kids to play also. Definitely planning on going back soon!

Weve always loved bringing our kids here. Every since they were little. They are all now teenagers & we still love this park. We love walking or riding our bikes on the trail, looking at all of the beautiful scenery. Having picnics in the picnic area & playing on the playground. Being by the water is my favorite part of this place. This park will always be our favorite & one of the places we bond at the most & enjoy our family time.

A variety of experiences available, from bike trails to picnic shelters to fishing. Clean, well kept facilities. Plenty of space between picnic areas. Easily accessible by wheelchair or stroller, but also has more natural areas for the slightly more adventurous.

Beautiful park to walk

Nice little place. An established, I think an 18 hole( with chains) frisbee golf ensemble. Possibly a Country Club located at the #10 hole, etc. Pet friendly, quaint trails, with the main thoroughfare paved, containing 95% level surface for those in need. The trails were just that, trails. I brought my Stella and she gave it a 5 Ruffs rating. Humans offended by a semi strong odor of urine, I dont know... But darn it, Stella loved it. Stella?...you query? Shes my . A reason why I moved close by, Mazarick Park. Enjoy! Peace. Stella says, Ruff!

We stopped in to check out the disc golf course.. Sadly I found it difficult to locate baskets/standing spots to throw from.. Definitely not a beginners course... I played at Campbell University and had a much better experience!!!

Great place to go for a walk and bring the dogs

We came here on the recommendation of friends. There are a couple of play areas for kids here (from toddlers up) the bigger of the two looks relatively new. A quiet and serene walking trail that leads to a small lake.We stopped at Mazerick Park on our way home from Norfolk and had a picnic by the lake. It was a beautiful spot under the trees with pretty views.

Family friendly. Clean restrooms and well maintained facilities. Including 6 tennis courts, a baseball field fenced in. 2 playgrounds, one for small children and another for ages 6 years and up. A disc golf course and two walking paths. One paved and another natural. Plus a fishing lake.

Fairly clean for a public space in Fayetteville. Good walking/biking trails.

Love the trails. Ots has a nice cookout area. I like that it has a fishing pier as well. Its kind of a hidden gem.

Went to do a photo shoot. Its definitely been cleaned up allot, the lake is still beautiful and always a nice little quiet place thats never too far from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Fayetteville has slim pickings when it comes to parks. This is a big park and appears to be well kept however as a young woman I would not come here alone for a walk. The trail even says bring a companion. There’s a few playgrounds that look new, tennis courts, and golf disc course which is well used. Lake looks good for fishing or kayaking.

Nice walking trail we couldnt try the play ground as it is closed due to the covid19 bit hopping it will open soon for the kids.Fishing is not bad we catch panfish bass catfish.The only bad thing is that sometimes people smoke arround others which is very annoying

The building was just the right size for our Thanksgiving Family Reunion . Everyone enjoyed themselves, the weather was beautiful along with the back drop of the lake.

Nice big park. Personally Ive gone a few times just to fish in the little lake there. There is a jogging trail and bathrooms. Picnicking tables under shelter. If you go off the paved trail into the woods, watch for water moccasins. That goes for anywhere near water but I saw a huge one when I was fishing.

Its really just a park, but it covers a big area. room enough of a lot of people . playgrounds lots of trails, tennis, courts a lot for everyone. Or if you just sit in the shade there a lot of that.

I enjoy walking and running the trails but the trails arent long enough they have a nice field and playground but should have a little more there to do.

Great place to walk, run, play Frisbee golf or do the play ground. The have covered areas as well as grills, a baseball field and tennis courts. Awesome park! I hate that people cant take two seconds and put their trash in the cans.

Great walking trail. Paved and even, no rough terrain. Boat dock and scenic views of the lake. Trees provide shade while walking. Nice trail for dogs and kids.

It is very pretty mainly the lake.

I attended a repass at the Mazarick Building in Park #2. Although it is an older building it was very comfortable and spacious for the event. The facility has a nice sized deck that overlooks the lake.I can foresee renting the facility again for an anniversary party or a graduation party.

A hidden beauty in Fayetteville, North Carolina

I LOVE this park! It is my favorite! The playgrounds for the kids are really interactive and they seem to enjoy the most compared to other parks. I wish they would fix up the piers. I remember they used to have them before. Hopefully its in the near future!
