We visited near winter, so I assume that’s why there were no butterflies and some older vegetables. Otherwise, it’s a really beautiful place for a date. The woman who took our entrance fee was also very nice and polite. No real complaints: a worthy stop.

Took our kids, 3 and 6 at the time, to the Botanical Garden. Its nice to find a good place outside for the kids. I grew up learning about plants, and the Botanical Gardens allows me to pass that knowledge and appreciation onto my children. There are fun activities like a train, giant ant, tree houses, and tunnels that they enjoy. The butterfly garden is nice, but a little more stressful with smaller kids - not knowing what theyre going to do. The staff was very helpful, and they have a map that lets you decide how much you want to do. We got through the whole map, but littler kids may struggle making the full loop. No bathrooms on site (coronavirus) so plan accordingly. The staff said there were portable bathrooms, but we didnt see them.

This is a beautiful garden, but I feel it’s a little small. My favorite part is the butterfly sanctuary; it’s definitely worth checking out. Don’t expect to spend a lot of time here, though, due to how small it is. It’s on the path of the Lake Fayetteville bike trail, so it makes a great scenic stop.

My daughter loves Botanical Gardens so we made a special trip to Arkansas to see this based of other reviews but we were highly disappointed. This place was very lackluster to say the least. We paid $14 to walk around and we were done in 10 minutes. There is not much to really look at or enjoy. It is more like a very small trail/park with a few things.

I loved this place! Its well presented, well kept, and the plants and insects that roam within are absolutely beautiful!! If youre a fan of nature, this is a great place to check out in Fayetteville. If insects are not your thing, proceed with caution; they thrive there in abundance. The only part of the place I found strange is the ponds. They are beautiful; and there are no aquatic animals in any of them. I expected to catch site of some koi in the Japanese garden or some turtles in the wetland gardens... none to be seen. Add to that that the water seamed to be dyed a certain colour in some areas. Overall a great visit.

I found this place online to host a small wedding (20 guests) for May 2nd. They were super accommodating at first as I was trying to book from out of town and it was difficult for me to travel there to check it out. Once I decided to book there is when it started to get a bit rocky. Every time I tried to reach out about contracts/payment through e-mail I would have to follow up about the topic about a week later to get a response which was frustrating. Then COVID-19 started and my fiancé and I decided to cancel our May 2nd wedding as the CDC recommended. When I reached out to maybe reschedule I gave them a date in July that would work (my fiancé and I are both in grad school and have extremely busy schedules). The botanical gardens was busy that day and offered another one that would not work for us. When I informed them I just wanted to cancel they said I could not get any money back, even though it was over a month in advance and during a global pandemic. I was shocked as other places we were working with were being super understanding considering everything going on. I had to fight for half my money back and even getting that was like pulling teeth. It was already so upsetting have to cancel my wedding that I had put time into and Botanical Gardens made this process even worse.

The worst place of attraction I’ve visited so far. They charge you an admission fee, while during the cold weather there is nothing to see. Literally nothing. Except maybe the cages where there were supposed to be butterflies, but it is empty. I believe it’s not fair to charge people 14$ and then when they complain about it, say that of course there is nothing to see, it’s winter.
