This is the best park in town. There is something For everyone. The trail is a cool place to exercise in the heat and the kids love it. The lake across the street is awesome too. Bring a picnic and enjoy the day.

Great place to take your dogs. Napoleon and Bruno enjoyed many walks here when I was at Ft. Bragg.

We spent several hours lunching in the pavilion by the office. The park and lots were neat. Even the bird feeders were clean!

Its a cute space. It has a small playground area, nice walking trails... and an unsuitable sitting area under a gazebo. I say its unsuitable because theres just too many trees, which means squirrels and bugs.

Hidden little gem. My best way of describing this place is my prior statement, I wont lie fayetteville for the unprepared can be... unpleasant to say the least, from traffic lights that give you the sign to walk as well as give drivers the green light to turn, please dont get me started on the drivers my God Ive seen better drivers in second world countries but I digress. Among the myriad of ups and downs fayetteville has some legitimate reasons for wanting to be here and most of the time their simply hidden by the amount of corporate stores and sprawling strip markets. This place (beside for the addition of a completely unnecessary pool) is definitely one of said gems.

This was my second trip to the park and so far, Ive found it to be clean and well-maintained. The walkways are free of pet waste, though there is some garbage to be found in the weekend areas. For the most part, its quiet and people are very respectful. I havent encountered a single dog off-leash, which is nice. The scenery is beautiful, but definitely watch out for that poison ivy!

Nice place for relaxing moments ...

I like to take the kids out during the weekdays to run. Weekends are way too crowded for me. The ballfield could use some TLC but its a great place to let the kiddos get out some energy!!

Really nice park, however the trails need to be wheelchair/Walker friendly. The gravel makes this difficult for people with mobility issues.

Small, but really nice park. Neat trails (short distance), well kept and felt safe. There were volleyball courts, tennis courts, playground, swimming, horseshoes, kickball and softball fields. Ample parking and picnic tables too. Pretty nice place. The wood walkways were all in a good condition too.

Its a nice small park in the middle of Fayetteville, NC. Almost makes you feel like your out of the city. The walking path is about .7 of a mile. Closes at 7PM

Update the map you have for your “wood plank trails”. Because it says online they go around the whole park, and the barely have any wood planks! I wanted to take my baby in her stroller here since online said it had wood plank trails. But nope!

Its a great park. Walking trails with botanical markers. Ball diamonds Olympic size pool and splash pad waterslides for younger kids makes this a summer fun place with fishing down the street.

Absolutely love this park. As a newbie to North Carolina I was able to learn about local plant life. Awesome experience.

Its ok the smaller playscape for the younger kids is rundown and rusty so make sure I get your T shot before letting your kids run wild. They have nice trails to walk and good size fields to run. The bigger playscape is good shape and has the swing set. Also since it a little farther down its less crowded most of the time. This place will cut it for a last minute wing it option.

Well maintained park. Lots of Pokemon Go Stops. Clean and set up nice. Places for the kids to play or runners to get in a short jog.

Nice walking trails splash pads and tennis courts but the kids park is in need of a serious upgrade and some serious repairs.

Lake Rim park is always a good experience. Has walking trails, area for toddlers to play and a separate area for the bigger kids. It also has a pool area, tennis courts and plenty for the family to enjoy. Really enjoy this park.

Nice place to fish

Lake Rim Park is not anything fancy, but it serves its purpose. The park has a trail that goes all around the outside that is good for casual exercising. The park also has multiple playgrounds, baseball and softball diamonds, as well as a larger field for football and soccer. I have never been in the pavilion, but the park also has one of those. Theres plenty of parking scattered throughout the park so you can always park near your destination.

This is a fun park to take the kids. There are two different playgrounds with fun things to climb, slide, and swing on. The only detractor for us was that the plastic bumpers around the perimeter of one of the playgrounds is in need of some serious repair. There was a large metal spike sticking up from one of them that could cause a really bad injury if one of the kids tripped and fell on it.

Went fishing, nothing biting, LOTS of dead fish found on shore in one area! So beware, something is obviously wrong! The wood deck area was very nice. Had to go over and try to fish there, since the beach area had the dead fish everywhere and some dumb chick was playing music loudly and singing loudly. We were hoping we had finally found someplace to fish on this side of the state. But apparently not and the hunt continues. Is a very pretty and relaxing place, if youre not going there to fish. There IS trash piled up everywhere, because for some dumb reason, they dont have any garbage cans out or provided!?? Some kind of bathroom facilities would be nice too, at least port a potties! Why call it a park, when it doesnt even have garbage cans or bathrooms? So make sure you go, before you leave home! With a few improvements, this could easily be a five star park! Hope it gets the things it needs to be better!

Great photo location! We love taking the kids walking on the trail. Plenty of space for all kids to play, including the playground. Great for bike riding, running or just wanting to take a stroll.

Great place to leisurely kayak out to the beaver dam and back in 35 minutes.

Went to the kids playground and it was great. Clean, equipment was in good condition.. wasnt worried about my son getting cut or hurt on anything. Just wish they had some swings nearby. Well be back.

I love running and walking in the park. Enjoy the trees which provide shade for running. Would like to see more swings and jungle gym equipment upgraded for all ages for the children.

This is a great place to fish(you will need fishing license) and Kayak or just hang out on the shore. Plenty of area where you can have a picnic or just sit on the shore and ponder life. Theres plenty of parking and its normally not super crowded.

This park has a good variety of activities.

Love the fact you have different trails to walk down, if your going for a work out I would suggest around the ball field or up by the office an down by the ball field then up the hills. I didnt no were to go so I just followed the people who look like they knew their way around lol

Considering the new work in the park. They have done a great job keeping things available to the public. Kids having fun in the playgrounds and trails open.

Me and my wife have gotten back into Pokemon Go so we have been coming here almost daily the past two weeks. There are thirteen pokestops and 2 gyms there. The kids love to run on the trails and see the little creek you can reach from one of the bridge paths. There are two parks, one for smaller children with slides and another for older kids with monkey bars and swings next to it.

This is a great little park that is clean and well maintained. A lot of dirt trails that is well used by lots of people and family out for air and exercise. Clean bathrooms and if you are into Pokemon, there are several gyms and Poke stops here to keep you busy and entertained!

Great park for walking trails. A fenced in tot-lot play ground. Rangers are always on site. I have always felt mostly safe here, but of course you should always stay aware of your surroundings.

They really need to fix this place up some. Its a dump there. It doesnt have the feel of an outdoorsy area. Its just gross. Fields need to be fixed up and walking areas need to be fixed up a bit

I only went on the walking trail side but it was a lovely local park. Lots of families and pet friendly as long as theyre leashed.

Nice place to take the family just to get out the house. Its clean and well kept. If you plan on fishing there, you will just be wasting bait.

Wish the pathway was larger and wish they would stop building all the time. Can we make the park a nature park again please. The trail is messy now compared to in the past, not my favorite place to escape anymore. They have fallen trees everywhere on the path now from their construction stuff.
