My husband and I got married in the chapel and had our reception in Bailey. Not only was the event space amazing but the staff helped make our wedding perfect. They worked with me to create my dream wedding. We both had a place to get ready and hangout before the wedding. We reserved a wedding block and all of our family stayed on the mountain. It was nice to have everyone in a close space. We had breakfast for our family and friends in the dinning hall the morning after the wedding. Everyone loved getting to get back together for a meal before they left town. We also had the dinning hall cater our wedding. They made two wonderful types of pasta and served it for us in Bailey. They also made appetizers for guests to enjoy while we were taking pictures after our wedding. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in a beautiful part of Fayetteville and have everything in one place.

Great way to preserve the surrounding wilderness is to create parks/camps, and this is an example. Very serene place.

I reserved Yancey lodge for a family reunion. The building is cozy and comfortable although the showers are small. We had problems with the stove and oven but the staff was so friendly and helpful. They got it fixed in time, but they also promised me if they couldnt get it to work they would make sure my food got cooked if they had to cook it in the dining hall and bring it back.The grounds and buildings are so beautiful and peaceful. You dont even feel like youre in town. It was a perfect spot for a reunion or any large gathering. Very good bargain for the money. I highly recommend it.

I am the head boys and girls cross country coach at Casady School and my cross country team has been staying at Mount Sequoyah for years. It is such a beautiful place. From Mount Sequoyah you can see the city of Fayetteville below and it is stunning to see. There is a lot of rich history at Mount Sequoyah and the atmosphere is peaceful among the trees. We build a bon fire each year to top off our experience and make lasting memories for the entire team. Thank you Mount Sequoyah Center!

I enjoyed a 3 day conference at Mount Sequoyah this week and enjoyed their great hospitality. Some of the facility is dated, but they use this to some advantage and play to the historic charm. Add great staff, wonderful meals, and the beautiful location and its a great venue for larger group meetings.

Went there for a professional workshop. Spent 2 days. Did not stay overnight, but the place is beautiful. The staff we encountered were very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend.

In the hustle and bustle of the college town of Fayetteville, this is a close, quiet, safe and beautiful place to stay alone or with family. What appears to be a church camp, converted to public use has nice cozy options for lodging to accommodate an individual or a large group. It is spread out on about 30 or so acres on top of a mountain and very reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly. There is WiFi available, but the only reason I have gone online while staying here is to spread the word of this comforting, peacefull location. Now, back to my front porch rocking chair on this quiet mild temperate evening.

Perfect quiet location to hold a weekend yoga retreat.

This is always our first or second choice for accommodations when in Fayetteville to visit our daughter who has been at the UofA. We have had the opportunity to stay in a variety of rooms, some have been updated, some have not, but either way they are always clean and comfortable.The serenity and beauty of the location is unbeatable! Its perched on the very round top of Mount Sequoia with a stunning view of Fayetteville. The ample grounds are well maintained but at the same time a bit wild and natural with deer roaming around.The staff is always accommodating, friendly, professional and gracious.
