Easy trail, very convenient, and surprisingly quiet.
Beautiful park full of native Virginia native plants in most section. Lush ferns, mayapples, and swamp lettuce in some sections, black berry ticket in others. The park harbors multiple district zones of different types of plant life all alone a meandering stream. Good for evening walks, walking your dog, mountain biking, and ecology classes. Very calm and apart from the surrounding neighborhoods.
Needs to meet its destiny and be extended across Olley Lane.
I had rated 5-stars cuz it was just awesome and I liked it
This place is a strange hidden gem with old growth trees and native understory in some areas (all fern and mayapple - no invasives) and mini bamboo forests and abandoned cars in others. Take some time to meander down all the little trails. There is a lot to this park beyond the bridge. You can access it from many neighborhoods, but I dont know of an official parking lot.
Small park with a playground. Good trail.
Was not there.
Little too much trash and needed some cleanup
Gets a bit muddy, definitely be prepared for it
