Great trail, beautiful park. The trails are fine gravel, but you can take a stroller if its a hardier one (umbrella strollers wont cut it). Theres a small playground at one end. If you go a little off the trail, there are fun surprises like a wooden fort and wooden teepee made by people in the neighborhood.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Monsters in the Park activity! The trails were well maintained and lots of access points from nearby neighborhoods. Rumor has it that a holiday themed hunt is planned for later in 2020. We will be back!

Me and the dog-o like to walk around this place sometimes. There are gravel paths where people also like to run/bike, and some unofficial dirt paths in the woods. You can see some houses, but for where it is, its awesome.

Several interconnected trails through a wooded park. The main path is very wide and crushed gravel but there are other trails that cut through the woods. Several entrances that meet up with neighborhoods.

Its a nice little park to walk and enjoy nature. Even though surrounded by different neighborhoods, it gives you the sense of tranquility. I wouldnt recommend it for running though, which is what took me there in the first place. Other than that I recommend it.

Nice quiet park in Fairfax with multiple entrances so it is very accessible. The paths were kept up great and the scenery was nice. Also dog friendly

Old growth trees are a rarity in general but thrive here. Coyotes live here, too. Enjoy!

A nice wide cleared trail through the woods, with occasional surprise improvements to be found. It has some hills, but nothing extreme. Good for a stroll or for biking. Glad for the shade during the heat.

Nice trails. Wells shaded in the summer. The inner woods playground is a little weak. One slide and two swings; nothing really else there.

Its basically a bunch of trails that run through the Daniels Run watershed park. No facilities, no parking, no playground. Just a creek running through the woods. You cant follow the creek downstream to where it joins Accotink creek because the Army Navy golf course has that area fenced off. Having said all that, its a remarkable oasis of wilderness in a sea of tract housing. If you pick a good spot and sit quietly, you may see owls, hawks, raccoons, deer, foxes, and maybe even a coyote!

Weve heard good things about this park and it seems a popular place for hiding painted rocks. We met some friends here today and walked the trails with some toddlers and preschoolers. There were some nice spots for the kids to play in the stream and several people walking dogs to say hello to. Overall it was a quiet and low key place on a late Friday morning. There seems to be no dedicated parking, so we ended up parking on a neighborhood street and walking in. Unfortunately there was no map by the beginning of our trail so we kind of wondered around. We ended up on the tiny playground (consisting of a slide and two swings) to play and have a picnic lunch. I would have liked to have seen a map and had a better idea of where we were going but it was a small enough set of trails in the side we were on. Ive marked the playground location on the screen shot Im including (or trying to) with this review.

Wooded trails along a steam; the park is a hidden bit of the outdoors in the middle of Fairfax City. Lots of neighbors walking or taking their pets or children out. Not much to attract people from outside walking distance, but lovely to live near.
