Green, green grass well maintained. did you know the foundation. The adopt a stream is in the back of this park.its the coolest place with trails and signs telling you what going on in the wild. I got named Tom started this in 1985. now the things are the way they are. this place can teach us all how to live a better life also make it fun. for those parents teaching the little ones at home. this place could be two months of work, test, book reports the whole nine yards.
The park has some great walking paths, playground equipment, a pool, and public attractions (these arent open during the pandemic). Even having many amenities closed, its still lovely, and there is plenty of room to allow for social distancing. I will return soon.
Went on the trail behind the playground. Nice place to hike, not crowded, though there were some bicycle riders. Shade from trees very pleasant
Was a gorgeous location Id never been to before. And the large open area is perfect for social distancing. The proximity to the arboretum is also a massive bonus
I love the versatility of this place, the nature walk is a nice touch. I like how you only have to do two laps on the track for a mile. Great parking. Easy access.
Love this park. So much to do & everyone especially the kids love it ...
There are great woods with figure-8(ish) loops about a half mile each - old growths, mushrooms & berries, and a nice creek to cool off by, provided were not lacking rain. There is also a paved loop path around the top part of the park adjacent to the park and ride. A lot of runners, bicyclists, and dog walkers of all skills and breeds enjoy the park. There is a nice pool (summer), a kids playground, many groups often playing volleyball/cricket/etc, and a UW Horticulture extension for entertainment.
McCollum Park and Ride in South Everett is a very nice place to go very funny people net area very little crime and a wide open space to let yourself just run and be free
Nice park and parking. I went there for COVID test. Nice sport field
People where out in the park but with Family and practicing social distancing . Was Good Seeing people enjoying the Fresh, but staying Safe
A. GREAT WALK THROUGH THE FOREST & A GREAT PLACE TO HIDE FROM THE HEAT.
Great wide open space. Dirt bike track is open for events part of the year. Playground is large and has plenty of space for a bunch of kids. Swimming pool is open Memorial Day to Labor Day, or thereabouts. Small stream just behind the swimming pool is pretty and cool. Park and Ride shares the space and can make for harrowing walking during rush hours.
McCollum Park was awesome peaceful and beautiful I love the creek and the wooded path
Its a great park, less than half a mile from I-5. Lots of parking, public pool an plenty of well maintained grass areas.
Great place to hide and find painted rocks along Forest Loop Trail.
I love this place! There are so many different reasons why I come here. Its good for when I need to commute. I park my car at the park and ride and take the bus knowing that is safe here. But more importantly, the park is best part is the park itself. Its beautiful! The kids love the pool and the play ground and I love the fields and walks in the woods. Always a great time here
Fun for all ages, walking park with trails, bicycle race track, big field, Pool, lots of parking.
Nice clean area very accessible to buses large parking lot and there is a trail if you want to walk also around
This park is very nice. I came here for an event and its nicely maintained in most aspects. The grass is nice and soft, lots of walking trails, decent play area for kids. However their public bathrooms are just awful. I get port-o-ports are disgusting as is but these are the worst Ive ever encountered by far. If they could change that by removing the waste more frequently or even just built a building, it would have enhanced the experience just a bit.
Great walking track around a open play field. Green grass play field.
Love this park! Right in the heart of urban everett/mill creek and its such a beautiful chunk of nature. There are a few trails, a playground, a paved walking path. We werent there for one of the community classes, but they do have them. We loved walking around here with out pups and look forward to coming back again!
I like fresh air of pine tree. And quiet...
Its so beautiful and great for bike riding
Its a nice park other than the fact its unsafe at night time 4 out of 5 stars
Lots of open grass and parking to play with ur dog or throw a frisbee or just be socially distant in a green n open place
Its just another i-5 quarardour city park.
A great place for family, friends or just some much needed self care.Wandering slow to enjoy the Creeks flow or fantastic for: jogs, walking dogs, or hopping logs. This gem is certainly a beauty to behold even in inclimate weather with healthy forest, extremely beautiful flora and fauna! If youre feeling like a treasure hunt, this is a popular place to score and share awesome inspiration rocks! If youre done exploring the trail, the attached park or garden are equally as fulfilling picnics on benches, or imaginitive play across the jungle gym.The only drawback is the lack of public restrooms.
Large park for recreational and other activities. Parks and rec have caught a bobcat and around Independence Day I came across an adolescent brown bear. Please be careful! Keep an eye on small pets.
Alot local vegs and fruits from from WA, Yakima.
Nice park for running or cycling. They have a small play area for kids. Behind the park there is a small trail.
I have been frequenting this park for most of my life in various manners. The pool is wonderful in the summer, locker rooms are well kept and the pool is maintained beautifully. The BMX track is fantastic to watch races at and I imagine a blast to ride. The play equipment is clean and well maintained, my daughter loves it. The trails are home to costumed padded sword wielding LARPers who would love for you to join them. All in all this park is a wonderful place where anybody can find something to do!
Pretty sick box for sk8in its nice and long
Man this corona got this place looking like a ghost town park edition lol
The walking trail is awesome for an in the city escape. My 4 year old explored with ease. Also went down to the Adopt a Stream HQ and was greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable guy advocating the benefits of becoming a member, which we will. Seemed to be some kind of BMX track just a ways away.
This park is a favorite with my kids. There is a nice playground, however the beauty of the park really lies down the hill from the playground theres a is a little creek. If you cross the creek there are so many trails. The forest is beautiful. This is our goto park.
Nice park with plenty of open space.
Scary place! Too many homeless.
This is a great park and ride. I can always find a parking spot, however when it rains some of the parking spots stay flooded.
Because I dont want to be harassed by you
Very beautiful place
Great dog walking arrea
Basic playground but lots of grass space to run around. BMX track looks to be in a poor state
Very convenient location for a quick park stop. I usually let mt boys run around where I can watch them while I set up appointments, go over my calendar, make lists and relax. Great place to play catch as well. Tons of parking. Located in same lot as park n ride and a swimming pool.
Great place! My sister and I go here all the time and the life guards know us and greet us. Super safe and fun!! 100% recommend.
Beautiful trail that follows the creek and loops back around.
Super crowded after 5 pm
I love this park, but i wish the cops or security werent so rude. I realize it is time to go, I am nice and polite but the officer was awful to us. he said he is mean so that people like us check our watches more.
Peaceful nice walk with the family
Great place for outdoor activities and car meet ups.
Love the north creek trail!
Nice park. Well kept, normally pretty busy. The main trail is backed up against apartments and does not seem much like a trail but more like a convenience for the folks that like in the apartments. Its great for them to have womthing like that right there but it kinda wrecks it for the rest of us. Any event here you will likely have trouble finding parking.
A wide open park, with (hopefully still) fully functional BMX track for National level events! OH, and stuff for non bikes, like a Park & Ride, pool, and jungle gyms... And local flora walks, and a native plant education center, and nature trails...Just go there, theres Ingress, PoGo, and Harry Potter portals, stops, whateverthehell Potter uses all over the place!
Pest blace to exercise and walk there is a huge trail and field
Laser Tag between racing was a great way to stay fired up!
Pretty swell park with a nice long loop trail
Always love coming here to let the kids play at the playground and explore in the woods.
Really cool athletic park with a huge field that includes a cricket base, laser tag, a paved running trail and a bmx course. The park also includes an outdoor pool, a gardening center, a wet land trail and a nature trail. McCollum Park is also the end or start point for the North Creek Trail. The playground is very outdated and there are homeless living in the woods at night and bear & cougar sitings as well. We have never had an issue but stay with your kids.
Visit the Master Gardeners gardens around the extension office. Lovely!
Flat open space with a great walking track. Main road on one side and forest on the other side of the park.
Beautiful, quiet and gives you a piece of mind when you go there
If youre wanting to go for a walk through a forrest but not kill your self doing it, com to McCollum. There is a trail through the forrest thatll make you forget where you are even at. Nice long trails thatll take 30 minutes or so to walk, the perfect time for a quick getaway and to fill your lungs up with fresh air
Not a bad running, jogging and walking track. Kept clean and there are honey buckets closeby as well. Parking is plentiful and if you have kids, the standard no swings playground is nearby
I take my kid here for the playground and to bike around. Also to place a little pokemon go. Mostly clean but some pet owners dont clean up after their pets
Great place to see family there plus we lived acrossed the street from there in the late 80s.
Take my puppies here on the trails all the time just love it.
Great place to walk the dog. Playground. Trails. Woods feel deep and remote while being neither.
A little overgrown and some standing water ready to be colonized by mosquitos, but pretty nice place. Really liked the option of laser tag there. Will go again.
My dog and I were just passing through on the way to North Creek trail, but this park was gettin jiggy! There were 6 or 8 guys with swords and shields rehearsing a battle, and I saw at least 2 small drones in the air. Dozens of other dogs, but they need to put in some dog poop bag dispensers. You actually had to go to the North Creek trail to find some.
Beautiful, amazing natural areas, great access to buses.
They could use more parking near the pool and play areas.
A wonderful time awaits . Try the wooded park loop walk.
Kids love the toys and didnt want to leave
Its a nice community park, maybe more for events than anything else. Its seems somewhat under construction at the moment but overall is pleasant.
Good pokemon spot, and place to do cardio with a loop or field. Even a pool.
McCollum Park Athletic Field has really nice trails, a great kids play area and beautiful yet natural landscaping.
Fun place
The entrance to the loop is very poorly marked. The trail itself is fairly well maintained but theres a section of it that seems to empty into wetlands and you can run off course. But if you want to run through a forest this is a pretty good experience.
Went to presentation at Adopt a Stream foundation. Little known presentations happen here. Well worth the effort to find out presentations as they get full quickly .
Awesome for making friends; nice spongy playground surface & legit for practicing sports!!!
I raced BMX here as a kid and teen. I made a lot of great memories here with friends and family, as well as a lot of 1st,2nd,3rd place trophies
Great for picnics and kids
This is a cute park (in parts). The pool and playground area are nice, there’s a wildlife area to walk around and laser tag that are pretty cool. The BMX track needs upkeep big time! There are some shady people around too.
Beautifull area in an otherwise busteling city.
Great place to bring your kids, go jogging, or just sit and relax. There is a very large field and a playground. There is also a quaint trail. Great clean place and its not usually very busy.
This is a wonderful place for family fun! All sorts of recreational areas for baseball, soccer, football, and many other sports. We took our 1 year old son along the woody trails, which he enjoyed very much. Definitely recommend this for a good day at the park too. All the older children were very polite to our toddler while he ran around the jungle gym.
Decent parking and well lit.
Well kept, large space with multiple types of activities to enjoy
