Interesting ship, I just wish there was a clear way to get parking here. I parked on the side of the road for a quick stop and pics.

Tragic attempt to save a piece of Northwest Maritime history. Vessel was used as a Breakwater for sometime then retrieved in the 1960s only to be neglected and allowed to rot in place here at its Memorial. Beautiful example of old shipbuilding, as one can see all the many layers of planking exposed.

This ship is really neat. Robert Lewis Stevenson once sailed sailed on it. If your in the area it only takes a few minutes to read the sign and walk around
